A room that was full of battle now lay quite.

Callo's eyes were now back normal. As was her voice.

Al : Well i dont know about you lot but i could use a drink.

(As he hands the sword back to Omar.)

Knock knock jokes thats what your best distraction came too?

Varis sheaths his sword before plopping down on the ground with a winch, letting out a deep breath. Ignoring his numerous wounds, he looks around at the others. Everyone was still standing, that was good.

"Think I've had enough of these caverns for a lifetime. Some fresh air would be nice."

Callo looked down at her gauntlet. A pissing contest between gods was not what she had signed up for, and she wondered about Isis's intentions towards the dragons and Sets involvement with them.

Using what was left of her magical reserves to heal those most in need she adds, "we should catch our breath a moment and make sure there is nothing else lurking here. It's a long way back to the surface."


Callo casts two healing word spells and sends her shadow familiar to scout the area:

Still in firebird form, Wind alights onto the ground near the pond, giving off heat. 

No pain in this form currently...

He looks back at the shattered gems, and shrieks.

Omar : Wind has a point they may have leftover magic from its controller. Tho looking at them right now they dont seam to be harmfull however it could be a risk

Mis Callo given you maybe out spells like the rest of us yet do you think they still hold possible magic or evilness?

"Anything is possible. We should be careful handling them and lock them away separately in lead and blessed seals, or perhaps melt them in a furnace."

She looks around, "have others gone missing down here?"

Al " I dont think there is any lead boxes. Not that i know of any. Lead is not a common resurce and has not been for quite some time. They gems my burn up but given the dark magic in them it could transfer to the thing trying to destroy it.

Omar " if i still had open casting energy i could know for sure, but they seamed to store magic energy. Something that could be usefull to us down the road for distractions or otherwise.

Yet if they are tainted still then i agree its wise not to use them or have them at all.

A.l : " I do have one idea, if we can get the shards into a bag, tie it in another bag take them with us but keep them seprate away from any of our gear. Thats if we are leaving right away.

My Healing Spirit was still up at the end of the battle. With DMs permission everyone could get 1mNGZpX|p_1-6p_1-6p_1-6p_1-6 18 HP back with a run through.

Whoever needs them - Callo herself is still in decent condition (especially with the healing spirit) and can partially restore her sorcery power on a short rest.

(No worries, I imagine I should probably take them given my 3 HP, but didn't want to take both without knowing if anyone else was also bad off)

Winds spell is still up but not for tomuch longer since we are now out of combat rounds.

After the party is healed by the sprits the magic what remains of its power fades away until its no longer there.

However the crystals now glow a forest green color.

"The crystals absorb magical energy?" Callo wonders out loud.

Perhaps they had just been a vessel that brought the evil presence here rather than the source, either way filling them with holy energy might go some way to making them safer.

Al and Omar look at them

Omar : Well Miss Callo, yes they are infact doing that but i dont have as extensive understanding of magic as you do. I have not seen crystals ever do such a thing before. I was thinking they were just channeling and foucsing the evil power but it seams that perhaps thats not the case.

With nothing else to hand Callo will use her old firebrass chain to scoop up the gems.

As she goes to pick a few up
one rolls away and touches her foot.

It glows bright red then heals her.

Then stops glowing while the others are still Green.

Varis takes a moment to catch his breath, listening to the discussion over the various gems. This was all beyond him. Magical gems, talking ponds, screaming worms. He watches as Callo walks over to pick up one of the gems, noticing it begin to grow red suddenly. Springing to his feet, he goes to draw his sword before noticing that it seemed to have caused no harm to her. Relaxing, he looks toward the others for confirmation that everything is fine.

Omar looks worried when it glows red

" Miss callo look... oh no! Wait you ok? "

Al: sees it glow red tried dive to ceatch it missed and sees it roll into her foot and not exploded and sees it heal her.

Al : " Well at least it did not explode on us. Cause that could have been bad. Wait a moment

did it help seal your wounds? "
