( So has the team decided what they wish to do with the magic gems? ) As we don't have any crafters it looks like magic storage for now - Callo can charge them up with ice armour or similar using just a short rest and that'll give the party some extra protection.
Looking at the magic item tracker page neither Callo nor Wind have bonuses to hit so a bejewelled quarterstaff/pact rod would be a good use for some of them. Of course at level 3 we could also just pack them out with fireballs and nuke things...
If we left a large gem down in the caves we should probably get it before it causes more trouble though.

( Well you do have some crafters given you saved some npc's in the mines and from the slavers. So there is bound to be at least a few who can try make the gear.
There is also the fact that the dwarfs in the prision absolutly would be able to make the gear.
I wanted to give the party the open option of what they wanted as far as loot goes with these gem stones.
So in this way each member if you devide them up you each could get a cool magic thing. )

Al : " Hold on kid, does that mean if we could say get a larger gem intact back up here it could help protect our Palace? "
" Well yes it very much could yet depending on the size the transporting without braking would be hard. Yet i think if we put our minds to it we could get it back up here with little trouble."

(Sorry, it's been a hectic week. I'm back now)
Varis tried to pay attention as the talk turned toward the magical gems they had brought back from below, but it was beyond him. He was a simple man. He knew how to hit things until they stopped moving. Magic held little place in his current life.
"I'll leave the decision to our magical inclined. I see no problem in y'all using them to store some of your magic within. If time permits, we can also try having a thing or two crafted from them if you're sure its possible. Al, need help fetching that larger stone?"

( Np, i had one of those the week before.)
Al : Ah not this time my friend. I don't think we will. We now have the minors rested. They know thier ways around gems both big and small and the kid could come along to give input. My palace gaurd can protect them/us down there if needed.
It will be a good team builder exercise for all the new inducties to my Gaurd and palace staff .
Kid " It will also have me be usefull cause I know how to make a flouting disk to help get it back up here. Thank you for the offer Varis but like Al said need do this one. "
Al hands back the sword to Omar :
" Don't let it fall to the Red Army they will kill you for having it, yet its a weapon of hope and others will rally behind it when its time.
It brought out the best in me while i weilded it.
As im sure it will do the same for you in time. But Omar and you should talk in private before we part ways. Its not that the others can't be trusted its that its best explained to only the weilder who has it at the time. "
As to where magic remains : The sand Dragons would have some, The Blue Dragons have quite a bit of it. Yet these are Dragons we are talking about so they tend not to part with thier hord.
The easier option is the hidden vault beneath the Prison.
Al pulls out a map of the hidden tunnals from what was once the Dwarf stronghold.
The vault will be gaurded by old dwarf traps and the like for i dont think anyone has gone down there to open it most don't even know its down there.
However as a gift to my Grandmama on my mothers side. Her family helped build the hidden tunnals and the Vault.
When it was done The Thane bestowed her family as well as the other noble Dwarvin families who helped with the project a key and a map to it.
That key has passed down to me.
He holds out a locket with 2 platinum twin hammers.
They won't have made getting to it easy and not many are alive how helped build it that i know of. Yet if you free the captives perhaps some of them could help you.
Seeing your skill sets im sure you will be ok.
The purple desert belong to the Elfs so more then likly they hid quite a bit in there.
Tho that section most stay clear of given the tails of large lurking monsters like the moma we fought still remain in there. Yet the Elfs had some of the most powerfull magic in the lands.
The Temple of Isis should as well. Im not sure if the town to its East would or would not have some. Its not to far from the Temple.
There is a town to the Far South of the Temple. Past a Mt range on the coastline of our continent Sira.
( callo you know where that place is yet i cant for the life of me track down its name i gave it given my old map for 3.5 game is gone. )
Yet if the entity we faced tries to make good on its threat it may not wait to take out its wrath so all of us need to be carefull."

How much would you say one of the gems is worth? I could use one for a component possibly.

Those are magic iteams so they are worth at least 1,000. Tallying up thier full value i would double check my dmg, its at very least 1,000.
Tho if you want consumable ones im sure Al could give you a few. Im not sure what worth value you would need for your components, yet they could carve you out ones worth what you need them for.

Wind dips his finger into his ale, takes some and uses it to write on a table or something, “Diamonds? Available?”

Oh of course Wind as part of your payment we are happy to give you what you request. Our mine is not just one type of material.
Tho What worth would you need/looking for?
We do have quite a few different sizes and i want to be sure you end up with one you would be happy with.
Is if for someone by chance cause we could make it into a fabulous ring for them, at no extra cost.

The temple to Isis... a few days travel north west from the land of the blues, Callo wondered if it was still used in this time or if the hidden entrance still existed. They would need ropes this time, and some way to speak the language of the elementals.
Though the prison came first. Callo sized up one of the emeralds in her hand, it would make a good focus for magic though perhaps unwieldy if more than one were combined.

( small note : Callo they also have a pearl if you are so inclined as you asked me about a few posts back.
They don't have many given its more travlers that come by that pay in them rather then gems or gold. So given many come here form all different places they get a few from time to time.
So if you ask around for one they are happy to give you one.
Note to all : They also they can make the gem into a locket or bracelet if you want it would take up that iteam slot. Im not sure if 5th kept the iteam slot they had in 4th and in 3.5.
I will try to track it/them down and get back to u guys on that.
It makes sense that for example you can't have on two magic pieces of head gear on and have both working at the same time. )

Wind laughs and removes a hard piece of clay from his pouch, and indicates the word “Diamond” on the table.
Then he crushes it and the dust pours into his other hand.
In a dwarvish accent, “As much as you can muster.”

" Um mister wind we have quite a bit down in our mines that will take time to mine out and crush.
We were in the middle of bring up our tallies this morning when you and the party came down so how much im not sure of yet im sure we can get the numbers soon.
Mister Wind we are great appreciation for what you did for us. Yet could not possibly just give you all of it.
we still need some for trade later. So ill figure out what can be spared.
I'm sure if you gave us a more exact amount we could try to accomidate best we could but we can't just give u all of it at this time and for that im deeply sorry. "
Omar : Wind I'm sure if you just tell him what it's for and how much you need they might be more inclined if they are able.
I will admit I'm curious myself for even i do not full know why you need such a thing.

Al excuses himself and talks to one of his staff members.
Going over some notes with a quill.
Well Mr Wind, i have good news : we can get you 600gp worth of dimond dust as part of our payment for your help. That is what we can spare as of right now.
In a few weeks we could do our best set aside some more for you.

In a very proper, and decidedly posh, dwarven accent: “Ah yes, so if you are hearing this message then it is likely that you have had a bit of trouble communicating with my friend here, who goes by ‘Wind.’ Please remind yourselves that kenku are cursed to never speak new words of their own, and to allay any problems in the future, give them options to choose from. I have done my best to increase his vocabulary, but I can’t think if everything. Pip pip cheerio and all that. Yes that last bit is absolutely necessary to negotiations. Thank you.”
And in a very different, female voice, “Thank you for your offering.”
He takes the sack of dust and waits for his companions to finish.

"I am afraid that during my travels, though extensive, I had not encountered a Kenku until recently. But it would seem that if curing their curse could be done as simply as walking into a temple it would have been done so by now."

( with a 4 total yha that about what she would know. Braking curses was next to impossible where she was from.
Tho i will say she did see a merical way back: when the river bed that was all dried up for decades started flowing again for no reason, and there was a long standing belief that the water would never run again. )
