I'd like to give it a shot. I'll bow out in favor of new players if it becomes necessary, though.

As before stated, dibs on Artificer! I'd be good with any type of game, as the artificer class seems to pop up just about anywhere in Eberron. It's probably because they are amazing! Well when the "civilized" world is based on your designs, I guess it's hard not to get a little egotistical. ;D I have always liked Sharn. The city's just so big with so many different caste systems, you can effectively do whatever. It also begs the question of what genre would the adventure fall under? Deek, what are you most comfortable with? Feel free to bounce a couple of ideas this way if you wanna. I know I promised myself not to get involved with the workings of, but I've been DMing for my entire gaming career. It's in my veins!

Psi-forge are fine, I would just like to note that you don't have to take the psi-forged body feat to be a psi-forged, you just need Power points, so you could instead take one of the other body feats, which would be more conductive to a warrior I was pretty much going to allow any book WotC has put out. I just ask that people try not to break the game. I only thing that I will outright disallow is the Planar Shepard PrC. [Pull out copy of Magic of Eberron, read about psiforge]

1st level, and my list of House Rules? 1. Character Creation- 32 point buy. Other than that, go wild. Free access to all Core, Splat and Eberron books. Just please try not to shatter the game 2. Hit Points- I don’t like having to coddle first level characters, so add your Con Score to your hit points at first level. E.g. An elven wizard with 6 Con would start with 8 HP, while the dwarven barbarian with 20 Con would have 37 HP 3. In Addition to the above, since nothing sucks more than a fighter with less HP than the wizard, I have changed how many hit points you acquire per level. 1d4 is still 1d4, 1d6 is now (1d4+2), 1d8 is now (1d4+4), 1d10 is now (1d4+6) and 1d12 is now (1d4+8) 4. Variant Death and Dying- a. At 0 hp or less, you fall unconscious and are dying. Any damage dealt to a dying character is applied normally, and might kill him if it reduces his hit points far enough (see b). b. Characters die when their negative hit point total reaches -10 or one-quarter of their full normal hit points, whichever is a larger value. c. If you’re dying at the end of your turn, roll 1d20. Lower than 10: You get worse. If you get this result three times before you are healed or stabilized (as per the Heal skill), you die. 10-19: No change. 20: You get better! You wake up with hit points equal to one-quarter your full normal hit points. d. If a character with negative hit points receives healing, he returns to 0 hp before any healing is applied. In other words, he’ll wake up again with hit points equal to the healing provided by the effect—a cure light wounds spell for 7 hp will bring any dying character back to 7 hp, no matter what his negative hit point total had reached.) e. A dying character who’s been stabilized (via the Heal skill) doesn’t roll a d20 at the end of his turn unless he takes more damage. 5. Expanded Action points- a. You take all the action dice, not just the best one. b. Additional use: Healing Surge- 1/encounter, as a standard action, a character can spend a 1 action point to heal 1d6 plus twice his level in hit points. You can’t use this if you are unconscious. c. Additional Use: Boost Defense- A character can spend 1 action point as a free action when fighting defensively. This gives him double the normal benefits for fighting defensively for the entire round (+4 dodge bonus to AC; +6 if he has 5 or more ranks in Tumble). d. Additional Use: Emulate Feat- At the beginning of a character’s turn, he may spend 1 action point as a free action to gain the benefit of a feat he doesn’t have. He must meet the prerequisites of the feat. He gains the benefit until the beginning of his next turn. e. Additional Use: Power Surge- A character can spend 1 action point as a free action to increase his effective level for one of his abilities by 2. He must decide whether or not to spend an action point in this manner before activating the ability. Stuff Like Bard Song, Barbarian Rage, Psionic Powers, Arcane Spells, ect. f. Additional Use: Improve Feat- A character can spend 1 action point as a free action to increase the effectiveness of one of their feats. Typically, if the feat gives a numeric bonus, it’s doubled. The bonus lasts for 1 round, or for the entire encounter, depending on the feat. Ask the DM for more information. E.g.- Dodge grants a +2 Bonus for the rest of the encounter, while a Power Attack damage bonus is doubled for a single attack. 6. To help with the pulp/noir atmosphere, I am using Contacts www.d20srd.org/srd/variant/campaigns/contacts.htm

Currently considering a human, Urban Ranger variant, disgruntled war veteran turned pseudo-P.I. kind of character. It'll be interesting to see how it winds up. Still trying to absorb the Eberron setting.

Just letting you know Deekin that the link for Contacts is broken and leads to a huge Trap that does 404 damage and kills me. Might want to fix it. Here is the correct link
