Well I assumed we would be allowed to just open the door. They were at the top of the map. I may be wrong though That assumption is correct. The doors have locks but are not locked.

Harknail, don't forget Gabe's +4 damage bonus for allies who use action points. (unless he is out of range or something) That requires Harknail to be able to see and here Gabe, so yes, he's out of range. As it is, it will be up to someone else to finish off the wererat

Thursagan will try the tide of iron on Red 4, to push it one square back and shift there afterwards, so his allies can maneuver better into position. He will keep the mark in any case. Dices were not working at the time of the post. I had to post, modify and refresh to see the results [rand=13194573763757944844111969694495272373636066913620422004256397486]

I was just thinking: An "End of Next Turn" effect should only be able to be used once. We have to be careful not use them twice due to our shifting initiatives. So if Harknail were to attack before me next round, he wouldn't get the Righteous Brand effect again.

Ogremind, if you would like to have combat advantage on the shot, I am wondering if the following would work: Move to E15, make a stealth check at the end of the move (you have superior cover from both the goblins, or at least from red 4), then use deft strike to move to F16 or F17 and shot the dagger from there. If the stealth check can beat their passive perception, you will be hidden from them at the beginning of the deft strike action, so you will get the benefit from it on the attack.
Harknail, correct if I am wrong, stealth rules are tricky.

Harknail, correct if I am wrong, stealth rules are tricky. This is correct. This also applies if Doran moves to F20, makes a stealth check, then Deft Strikes to move to D20. Moving out of cover ends being hidden, but you retain the benefit until the action is resolved. Since the movement is part of the attack action, the enemy doesn't get a chance to notice Doran before the dagger is flying. Need to know which route Doran wants to take and need a stealth roll.

Okay, we'll try the stealth bit (am I at penalties because I am moving at full speed?). Stealth Check: [dice=20]+9=21 [rand=5609641459483171332563374669134936905994328242949326419948180579]

Rats. So its different from the ramp up top? Oh, well, might as well do what I can. Then Doran will end on D20, and throw the dagger. No combat advantage, and no sneak attack damage. Make a Stealth role to possibly get combat advantage and sneak attack damage. Doran will be out of sight after his move and thus qualifies for a stealth check.

Okay, we'll try the stealth bit (am I at penalties because I am moving at full speed?). Stealth Check: +9=21 It would be if you moved more than 2 squares, but you only needed to move 2 squares to get out of sight from them, so there should be no penalty.

Okay, we'll try the stealth bit (am I at penalties because I am moving at full speed?). Stealth Check: +9=21 I went back and checked, and yes there is a -5 penalty for moving more than two squares (-10 if running). There was a suggested alternate course to move two squares to get out of sight and two squares back to attack. But since Doran easily made the stealth check even with the penalty, I'm going to go with this close as possible to its original planned movement.Doran moved rapidly but silently up the stairs and down the hall. He was hoping quietly enough that once he got out of sight at the top of the stairs, the goblin wererats lost track of them. Thus they were surprised when Doran popped out of the other end of the hallway with a dagger flying. He managed to hit the wererat (red 5) in a vital spot, leaving it bloodied.

The goblin wererat between Harknail and Zynthis (red 6) shifts out from being flanked (to B11), then attacks Harknail using its short sword. It connects with a solid blow (9 damage), leaving the ancient construct bloodied yet again. The goblin wererat that Doran threw a dragger at (red 5) shifted to engage Doran as it attempted to stab Doran with its short sword, unsuccessfully. The remaining goblin wererat (red 4) continued to attack Thursagan, finding a chink in his defenses (for 10 damage). The goblin wererats continue to heal from their wounds at a miraculous rate, with all but the wererat facing Harknail no longer being bloodied.
