The groups stays close together for mutual support as they traverse the blizzard. There are no trees visible now, just snow and hills of snow. Perhaps the trees are still there, but completely buried in snow. But that is a question for later. Sanem is in the lead (because he was the last one to post for the skill challange) when the perceptive elf spotted something moving atop the snow hills, he held up a hand to stop the group as he looked closer. "Goblins up above, there and there," Sanem points out the closest goblins. Realizing that they've been spotted, a cry goes out and more goblins raise into view, with javelins and crossbows ready for attack. Neither side has supprise, thanks to Sanem's very high passive perception roll :-) I need an initiative roll for everyone.Map (will be updated as the turn progresses): Red are holding javelins, Blue are holding crossbows, Gray has neither. The green block labeled PC Start B is where the characters would have started (with much delay and lost of healing surges) if they had failed the skill challenge. Notice how much smaller it is...Status: Still need to update the status blocks. But currently Sanem is down one healing surge, otherwise everyone is still fresh from an extended rest.

Warlord Init bonus is +2. Also note that since I've swapped out my Tactical Assault feat I no longer grant the bonus to damage for action point attacks, you still get the +2 bonus to attack roll though. Added Gabe's group bonus info to my previous post.

The goblins now in view were blue instead of the usual green. Also they weren't wearing winter clothing. Sanem concludes that they must be resistant to cold. I also have "Yield Ground" which I picked up at 2nd level as an encounter power.
Assuming that numbers 1 and 2 are still alive (which the should be since I went first ) Sanem will Hunter's Quarry 1, and then twin strike firing an arrow at 1 and 2. Target: #1 Damage:#1 Target: #2 Damage: #2 Sanem will then move to U13 and crouch behind what looks to be a fallen snow pile.[rand=6012448225921411897248339794215740874625251147598812036338412496]
