"Oh, Elven is pretty enough to listen to, even when you don't understand a word of it," chimes in Zack as he finishes up his notes. "What were we talking about?"

"Dragon scale underwear." Raylynn mumbled as she focused on twisting a screw and tightening the spring on her crossbow.

When speaking in other languages, <You should use angle quotes while specifing the language outside of the quotes>

You are right, I had missed that. I had tried to read it carefully before posting but I still missed it. My apologies. Edit: Referring to the 'continuing in common' line.

Zack: "Sounds like a torture device. Or maybe an exotic dancing outfit. Or, maybe both."

Laira Elereth softly laughs and comments, "Zachary, I never knew you were this funny."

"Who's being funny?" asks Zack, puzzled.

Zynthis goes up to the bar and asks the barkeeper/innkeeper "What say you? Heard of any dragons in the area?"

The barkeep rubs his chin in thought before answering, "Well there are lots of dragons far to the south. Story has it that they rule kingdoms of Dragonborn. But around here? Can't say that I've heard of any."

Having finished working on her crossbow she put the weapon in its hip holster and filled another plate with food.
"So we go south then?" Raylynn said between mouthfuls of food, not making any particular effort to swallow her food before speaking.

Zynthis replies "Apparently so... I wonder what Bharash would know about it. He's Dragonborn."
Is Bharash still with us? I went back to the old thread and left a link just in case we lost someone because they only link the current thread.

Laira Elereth replies,
"Look, it's one thing to kill a dangerous monster if it's a threat or something, but we shouldn't go around looking to fight enemies more powerful than us just because they're there. Besides, we're sure to find out about some other threat to a town or village, where we can can actually do something about it.
As for where we're going, after the last two adventures we spent clearing the cave and tower, I'm going dancing while we still can."
A map of the area either as a pdf, link, or site would be useful from the DM so we can have a better idea what is around us.

So, how long are we just going to talk about what we are doing next? This isn't exactly the same as a face to face game, so the DM should probably just choose something and move forward.

How much treasure in cash did we each get? I'd like to shop before we continue.

OK, I'll move things along tonight. As for treasure, you don't have all of it yet, That's the next couple of scenes.

After enjoying the party (or dodging it as the case may be), the group retired to their rooms at the inn. The next day Paec passed on a message that Bradly would like to see them.
When they find Bradly, he thanks them again for saving the town yet again, and gives them another of the towns few treasures, the Moon Shield of Silver Light.
The shield can cast bright light in a close burst 5. All weapons wielded by allies within this light are considered silvered. It's from Adventurer's Vault 2 (without the Moon in the name).
You have a buyer for books retrieved from the temple, 100 GP if you're willing to part with them.
You also have a statue of Asmodeus to sell.
Plus anything else you want to do around town (like have your new member make a magic item with all the reagents you found)

On that last note, I took Master Maker the feat so I can surpass the normal limits of making magic items and I can make items up to level 6!

Zack will look into selling the books. I'm kind of inclined to get everyone outfitted with +1 weapons, implements, armor, and resistance cloaks before getting the more exotic items. Does Thurgasan have magic armor yet? Zinthis does, right? But no weapon? Admittedly, the wizards are probably fine with just magic implements until the melee people get armored up.

Admittedly, the wizards are probably fine with just magic implements until the melee people get armored up.Curuvar the Brazen follows up on his promise to pay 100 GP for Draigdurroch's ritual books and research notes. When he hears about all the books left behind, he offers another 100 GP for those books (especially the ones that had been protected from the cold). Sanem estimates that the road should be passable by a cart or wagon in another two days. That's the nice part of getting arcane components instead of a magic item, you can decide what you want. Just to be clear, basic magic items can have an enchantment added latter (for the difference in cost), but once a weapon has an enhancement it can't be changed or removed. Also any magic item can be raised to a higher level item with the same enhancement for just the difference in cost. So a +1 Dagger could be made into a Dualist Blade later, but a +1 Distance Dagger could not. But a +1 Distance Dagger could be made into a +2 Distance Dagger.
