"Don't know," Zynthis replied "Raid a dragon's lair maybe..."

"Hrm.. never like dragon's, and I always figured their scales could make a marvelous dress." She rubs her chin, "Consider it done, I'm in!"

"Welcome fellow hero!" Zynthis replied "As an Artificer, what can you do?"

Raylynn grabs a vial of a strange greyish blue liquid from one of her many belt pouches, "I make these infusions." She hands the shifter the vial, "Drink, I think I've got the recipe just right to give it a subtle minty flavour - freshens your breath and gives you a drop of luck! Mostly making, artificing if you will. Some improve their allies with words of inspiration, some call on the divine. I don't really care for the people themselves, I like to meddle with the weapons you carry and armour on your back!" She mumbles the next line, "people can be so infuriating... it's easier working with items."

Zynthis replies "Not bad, not bad at all... Does it have any special properties?"

"Indeed. I don't make things purely for enjoyment!" She scoffs, "I call that one the Resistive Formula, or that's what textbooks call it. I like to think of it as a dose of luck. Makes projectiles, spells and other harmful things aimed at your head tend towards your armor. And if you find you need a quick boost you can, with a moments thought, relinquish the lucky properties for a burst of adrenaline!"
((Resistive Formula grants +1 AC. And you can choose to lose the bonus and gain some Temp HP instead))

"Can thee reshape magical weapons?" asked Harknail. He showed the hilts of his original component sword and the normal hit of the magical sword he acquired yesterday. "Change the hilt of the magical sword so it can become part of me?"
This requires the Enchant Magic Item ritual to do, with no component cost. Same as resizing armor.

My avatar image disappeared. Apparently the site I got it from is either down or closed. I may have to get a new image if the site doesn't come back.

Raylynn looks to Harknail and smiles, "Why naturally, let me see that shiny sword of yours and your arm. Attached or no is your call." "An attachable component be best," said Harknail as he demonstrated how his original sword component could be attached over his left hand.

Raylynn rolls her eyes, "I just need to see the magic sword and the original attached sword so I can replicate your attachment joints accurately - it'd be all guesswork if I didn't have the sample." She smiles and takes the two weapons from Harknail, then wanders over to an empty table, sits down and starts working - pulling spanners, hammers and other tools as needed from one of her many pouches - her springy contraption assisting by returning the tools to the pockets and producing new ones. All the while Raylynn begins to hum a tune.

Zynthis has a drink and says out loud to everyone "So, does anyone know where we can find a dragon's lair?"

Zachary, having lost his audience, wanders over to where Zynthis and Harknail are speaking to the Eladrin woman. "Zynthis, are you drunk? Why in the world would you want to find a dragon's lair?"

"He's just adventurous. There are only so many dragons y'know, gotta take one down before they're all gone." Raylynn spoke up while working on Harknail's sword, "Raylynn, and who would you be?" She took a moment to glance up at the newcomer and smile at him before returning to her work. Sparks of arcane energy were zipping off into the air around her as she remoulded the magic sword into an attachable component.

"Dragon's Lairs have the best treasure they say. Raylynn, this Zack, our mage. Zack, this is Raylynn, an Artificer. She will be joining us on our next adventure." Zynthis introduces the two using Zachary's nickname. Zynthis likes to make nicknames for people just to shorten it up some.

"That's Zachary Tempest," Zack mutters absently as he watches Raylynn's work intently. "Very interesting."
