Lairaunwen Elereth curses kobold orange 3 at location M5 for 1 point of damage, condemning it to an eternity of torment, then turns into mist, accompanied by a soft otherworldly beautiful laughter, and flows to D8, granting her concealment.
Incidentally, the location of Laira Elereth and the actions ascribed to her were totally out of character. 45

Zackary, seeing a good opportunity, sends a scorching burst to L5: The kobold with javelins was burnt to a crisp, but the one with two short swords was able to avoid the flames (though just barely). Orange 3 is dead. Purple 2 was missed.

With her target minion a charred husk, Laira cursed the kobold standing next to the body (purple 2). The curse alone was enough to finish that kobold (thanks to the Rod of Reaving). Incidentally, the location of Laira Elereth and the actions ascribed to her were totally out of character.45 Sorry about the that. So Laira wouldn't have told the others that the kobolds were deciding who to cook? Also switched Laira's target because I saw the Wizards rewrite first. The purple ones are also minions, so she still teleports.

Wow, half a dozen kobolds dead already. Maybe I should have put in more...
Waiting for Zynthis now.42

So, I presume we are ignoring the errata that the Rod of Reeving doesn't work on minions?

So, I presume we are ignoring the errata that the Rod of Reeving doesn't work on minions? This particular Rod of Reeving works on minions (it's grandfathered in). Future rods of Reeving might not. I thought automatically killing a minion as a minor action was reasonable when I handed out the item. But I remember something where only one curse can be placed per turn, so it can't be used to pop multiple minions in a turn.

Considering that the elves being cooked up ahead could be relatives or people Laira Elereth grew up with, instead of translating what the kobolds were saying, and then trying to discus a strategy, Laira would have gestured that she was going to attack and then move and start blasting. Lairaunwen is the one who wanted to pursue the kobolds before dawn so they wouldn't have the chance to rest and be prepared, she wouldn't want to sit and discus things and wait for Thursagan and Harknail to act.45

Fair enough. But I figured after she announced what was going on, no one would be waiting around for discussion.

Caught completely by surprise by the attack, the Kobolds are slow to gather weapons and prepare to fight. So, my Magic Weapon goes until end of my next turn and since initiative kicked in after the surprise round do those who got it get to benefit twice from it? I suppose not. Yea, not likely.
Talking out loud, ignore me.

Orsik bumbles forward wading his way through the crowd trying to get another clear shot at the kobolds. Making sure to stay behind the bulkier people up front, he once again raises his fingers to loose icy tendrils at his enemies. Orsik will move to F7 and then cast Hands of Radiance on Orange 7, Purple 3 & 4.Hands of Radiance (O7, P3, then P4) [dice=20] | +8 | = 22 vs Reflex | [dice=20] | +8 | = 10 vs Reflex | [dice=20] | +8 | = 15 vs Reflex |

Thursagan will try to clear the way towards the prisoners. He uses shielded sides as a minor to gain +2 to AC and reflex and prevent flanking CA, moves to N8 via M7, and starts a passing attack on purple 3: Attack: [dice=20] | +8+3(buff) | 22 vs. AC |
Damage: [dice=10] Purple 3 is marked, and if the attack hits, Thursagan will shift to O9 as part of the power, making an attack on purple 4 Attack: [dice=20] That is a critical miss, but purple 4 is marked Thursagan ends up in the middle of the kobolds, daring them to test the strength of his shield[rand=507017428986728261510837171226742446165960282087334074506629258394]
