Harknail, did you forget that Thursagan used shielded sides? Flanking him wouldn't do anything. I was going to ask the same. He was at +2 AC and reflex, and preventing flanking CA. From the damage taken, it looked like there were at least a couple of crits, right? I did forget On the other hand they either hit by a wide margin or missed by an even wider margin, nothing in the middle range where a +2 or +4 would have made it a miss. If I had noticed my notes, I would have described it as them barely hitting, since it would have been a lot closer. No crits, just near max or max damage on the damage roll. The dice were favoring the kobolds, except when they hit AC 9...

...and where the heck hit Zachary's 'A' token go? My graphics program has decided to start randomly deleting character badges I recreated his badge and put him where I remembered him.
Cyan 7 moved back to where he started, updated cyan 8.

Zynthis moves to O8 and Healing Strikes dazed Blue 5 if Zack didn't kill him, otherwise Zynthis will move on to Q8 and Healing Strike Red 2 instead. Standard Action: Healing Strike Blue 5 or Red 2 if Blue 5 is dead:[dice=20] = 18 vs AC if on Blue 5 (combat advantage) or 16 vs AC on Red 2 Damage: [dice=10][dice=10] =13 radiant damage and Thursagan gets a surge +3 Minor Action: If attack misses then Zynthis will spend a Healing Word on Thursagan. [dice=6]=Surge+5 points of healing for Thursagan [rand=31519567226764067634068902254622995440067246468502596256509202477]

Wait, what? Last I saw it was at B8, not A5. Since I not sure where he was, I'm fine with him being able to reach H6.

"Ack! Raylynn, wait up!" exclaims Zack as he hurries after the artisan (move to H6), and sends a beam of cold energy at the kobold standing above the captive and the dwarven fighter (Chill Strike), following it with a magic missile: The kobold is dazed by the magical onslaught, but amazingly he's still standing, not even bloodied.

Laira Elereth runs to J7 laughing in Draconic, "And here I thought kobolds were smarter than orcs." Bluff or Intimidate: 21 "You attacked an eleven town and didn't think anyone would come looking for you." Laira mocks the kobolds in draconic, as she strikes down purple 1 with a warlock's curse. Lairaunwen turns into mist and flows to M6 and continues in draconic, "And your pitiful tribe is dead for having no women. Then get women from another tribe or just join another tribe." as she misses green 3 with witchfire. reflex vs 9 for 9 fire damage The minion failed to die on cue from being cursed. But even so her taunts bothered the green kobold. No, I'm not changing how the rod works, it's just that the minion now has some temp HP so it takes more than 1 hp damage to kill it. Is there anything specific you're trying to accomplish with your bluff/intimidate check? Like the speach by the way

Zynthis moves to O8 and Healing Strikes dazed Blue 5 if Zack didn't kill him, otherwise Zynthis will move on to Q8 and Healing Strike Red 2 instead. Zynthis move into the rough area (difficult terrain) and smacks the Kobold Pikeman with his morningstar, leaving the kobold bloodied. Divine energy from Corellon revived Zynthis's ally, leaving Thursagan awake, but still prone.

Kill the kobolds' morale. Right now, they are going to fight to the death. Wouldn't mind if some of them got so angry they made mistakes.

Orsik continues moving forward as fast as his little dwarf legs could take him while still trying to blast his enemies apart with his icy rays. Seeing Harknail surrounded he aims his blasts to the surrounding kobolds trying to clear space around him. Once again Orsik will move right 5 squares to K7, and then use Hand of Radiance on C7, C8, and P1.Hand of Radiance (C7,C8, then P1) [dice=20] | +8 | = 11 vs Reflex | [dice=20] | +8 | = 14 vs Reflex | [dice=20] | +8 | = 21 vs Reflex |

No problem, he was doing his job and I did all I could to protect him, the dice were not gentle to him this time. Now if somebody can heal him he will get back in shape in no time

Zinthis let Thersagan use a healing surge, so he is conscious and at his surge value +3 HP, but prone. He should be able to stand up, use his second wind, and attack the dazed kobold next to him.

Thanks, that is exactly what he is doing. This will give him 21 HP back (12 from the Zinthis and 9 from the second wind as minor), a +2 to all defenses, and a dazed target ready for a crushing surge attack, after he stands up with his move action. Attack: [dice=20] | +8+2(CA)=27 vs. AC |
Damage: Blue 5 is marked, and Thursagan gains 3 temp HP if the attack hits, to get him back to a decent status. He has used two surges, so he is at 9/12, and all his encounter powers by now.[rand=857688554562628300396066345274448402219637203961610820680924411863089]

Seeing Harknail surrounded he aims his blasts to the surrounding kobolds trying to clear space around him. Orsik finds that he is unable to target the Kobold Slinks unless they are the closest enemy. No attacks lost, just need to pick different targets than cyan 7 and cyan 8.

Thursagan takes a quick deep breath as he stands gripping his craighammer. Thursagan's blow crushes the chest of the kobold standing over the motionless hostage (blue 5), finishing him off. Thursagan feels revitalized by the blow. Thursagan recognizes the hostage as the daughter of the Elven leader, laying motionless on her back staring up at the roof. Then one eyelid closes briefly in a wink. She's just playing dead to avoid being targeted.

He doesn't even have to ready an action. I readied to fire when he moves adjacent, and readied actions interrupt turns when their condition is met Good point, you are correct, he doesn't need to ready an action.

Harknail, how tall are those raised portions of the map that the captives and kobolds are standing on, and how high is the ceiling?
