Popol says to the whole party, obviously growing angry, "Do you all not see that we are just delaying the inevitable? If we go on like this, these drakes will break free. They will attack us. We will kill them. We will likely have to kill the gnome, as well. The animals are either beyond all help or beyond our power to help. The sooner we send them out of this world, the more strength we'll have left over when the little paladin tries to avenge them. Or for a second flock of drakes, which could well arrive while you all debate the morality of sending a mindless killer to its natural fate."

Stria turns to Dart.
Thank you, Dart I will take that into consideration.
Turning to Popol.
I have this one under control right now and it poses no danger. If you wish to harm these drakes that are not fighting at the moment you are no better than these drakes were to these people. We have an opportunity to get some help from these beasts, and your talk is wasting our time. So please calm yourself before you become out of hand as well.
Intimidate: [dice=20] +13= 17
She returns back to drake. Speaking in draconic
Calm down. Its alright. You are probably hungry. Let us see if we can find you some food. Just calm yourself, I won't hurt you.
Diplomacy: [dice=20] +6= 18
Stria turns to Dart.
Can you find some food for them to eat? I think it would be most helpful now.[rand=159003140368736752217058566228767820555965762163037338419136511116]

This was taking too long, Barbatos motioned to the people inside "come on, i'll take you back into the town before more of these show up"
Looking back, "you'll never move them, even if you can get carts the horses will panic and you'd need to bring a flock to feed them. You're going to have to bind them, chain them, and stake them down here - if you want them to live, welcome to your new home."[rand=161132115955894832522292091255227224156554227734848345136699346655]

Romra says nothing, just steps with purpose to one of the drakes not being dealt with by Stria, he does nothing yet. If the Drake Stria is attempting to talk to does not show signs of its natural intellect Romra will proceed to finish off the creatures.

I can't leave now, our live stock will escape and get eaten by these monsters!"

Hearing the barn needs fixing Blastishy's eyes light up with enthusiasm "Don't worry madam I will get to fixing it right now, i love fixing things. Do you have any materials i could use. It would make the job go a lot smother."

Llewelyn moves towards Dart and the others who are still debating about what to do with the drakes. "Dart, you claim that we should help these creatures, normally I would agree with you. However, I see no way to do so. We have no way of keeping them alive, they show no signs of intelligence, no signs of being trainable, no signs of even basic animal instinct and an intense desire to kill. In answer to your question, if someone had turned me into a creature and I began to kill others, then yes, I would want someone to stop me, even if it meant my death. Better that I die than live and continue to kill others. Even those of us that can speak with the drakes are not getting answers from them. I wouldn't even bother calling them war drakes at this point, war drakes would reply, would run when faced with death. Also, what do you think can hold these drakes? Or where can we hold them? As far as I know, none of us have the resources to do that... or even feed them. If we try to hold them somewhere, they will constantly try to break out, if they do, they will attack whatever they find. If they don't break out... they will starve. Relocating them seems equally implausible, they would easily make it back here, or to some other settlement. Dart, I ask you, what do you want to have happen? More people die? Have these once noble beasts starve a slow death? Are you so set on them living that you would rather have them die slowly and painfully?" Turning to Stria, "Are you sure it's under your control? If these drakes attempt once more to harm these people, I will do what I must to ensure their safety." That last line seems to be a general statement than one directed to Stria.

Dart - thinks for a moment, then says " Your right, or at least you seem to be. They don't seem to be self aware, they are hungry, dangerous and need to be dealt with. Your wrong about the rest of it, but mostly your arguments clearly show you don't want to deal with them and dead - no one has to. So it's time to take a vote. Do we kill them them? Do we find out why they attacked and try to move them to a safe place? Or do we walk away? I'm voting to find out why they attacked and to move them to a safe place. So how are you voting?"

The woman responds to Blastishy, "My husband has gone to fetch lumber to board the windows."
The make whole ritual could repair the board for 1GP or the entire wall for 2GP (once the drake is removed from inside of it). But I don't see ritual components on the characters. That's something you should have started with.

Romra is already moving to kill the drakes, he is not waiting on a consensus. It will be done.

Popol replies, "First we should put them down, then we can investigate in peace. We can draw no information from them as they are."

"My husband has gone to fetch lumber to board the windows." "Which direction?"Barbatos did not vote on the drake's fate, but was not ignorant to it - perhaps, he thought, the gnome might be distracted by a new cause to chase. Barbatos originally had some, did you remove them to cover the magical item costs?

Barbatos originally had some, did you remove them to cover the magical item costs? No. I just checked and your character sheet doesn't on the forum doesn't list any arcane components, or even how much cash he has left (40 GP after buying 3 recipes for level 2 alchemical items). I'm fine with you moving as much as you want (or even all) of that 40 GP into arcane components. Also, I just checked the compendium for Artificer, and it looks like you get two more level 1 rituals of your choice free.
Edit: Wrong character, the above applies to Blastishy

Dart - looks at Romra, "I wouldn't do that without a vote. I really wouldn't."
Dart looks around for support, if he finds none he leaves. Dart has no intention of ending up in a fight without knowing if he has any allies. Right now it looks like he has none.[rand=9955132866743952412991340737789876677248915657401553440730785951]

Now that Dart has responded, Romra will ignore him and finish off the drakes. Move and Cu De Grace.

Barbatos originally had some, did you remove them to cover the magical item costs? I don't see them on Barbatos either. Nor did he have any cash. I checked, he should have 120 GP. I'm adding that now. Let me know how much you want to be arcane components and I'll make the change.

Unless someone else objects, Roma executes a clean kill on the remaining drakes, killing them with a minimum of suffering.

Dart leaves. Dart checks on the farm animals very carefully. He makes sure the animals are all right. He is studying how they look, color, behavior and markings. Gm: I can't find Dart's character sheet on-line. I looked.
