I think we may have to look for the tracks and find the owner that way. turing to the man, I can do my best to patch you up hear or i can take you back to rest but ether way you will need some rest for at least a day. Their is a cleric that is better then me at fixing people up, ask for Popol. Or I can do my best hear and now I leave that up to you."[/i] Looking at the Romara and Llewelyn.. the two of you would be are best trackers and to many of us may just slow you down, but if you wish us to come I would be more then happy to do so.[/i]

Blastishy has determined that the farmer suffered a bump on the head (probably from the fall). He knows that the farmer does not have any serious injuries and will be fine without further treatment. Blastishy did very well on his heal roll

Romra nods and takes off through the trail, trying to backtrack the drakes trail.

Popol eyes the farmer disinterestedly, considers checking his wounds personally, and decides against it, since he is a farmer, and probably not very clean. "You look fine," he tells the man, "you'll probably live several more years if you aren't killed by a plow, or in a horrible butter churning accident or however farmers die." He looks back at the drake. "If the animal is trained, Stria, can you command it to return home? That would be much easier than trying to track it's path."

"Stria, can you command it to return home? That would be much easier than trying to track it's path." "Assuming it doesn't fly home"Barbatos glanced at the tabbard, not recognising the symbol, and then turned back to the drake attempting to determine if it shared the same magical aura as the others. He does recognize the symbol.
The same ritual has been used... Twice!

Stria looks back at the drake and gestures to it to place its head towards the ground
Speaking in draconic
Down.
Assuming that it is obeying her commands she will then run her hand along its snout and neck as she would a horse. She will then attempt to get up onto the saddle.

Tol
Tol is honestly kinda looking around like an idiot wondering what to do as they play with the drake. Hes not all that found of pets, and this is reminding him more of getting attacked by wolves and then playing with a husky not 5 mins later. He doesn't trust the 'domesticatedness' of this drake is is just trying to keep a look out as his nature/tracking skill will probably get him lost in a large enough backyard. if the drake was walking primarily through a city he could probably talk to people and figure out where it came from, but Tol is a city boy.

Llewelyn steps towards the drake, "Any idea of what would be in the saddle bags? It may gives us more clues."
Llewelyn will try to check the bags unless the drake takes defensive action against him for doing so.

Popol responds to Barbatos. "I would guess it does fly. That's why tracking it would be nearly impossible. We'd have to send a rider with it to find its lair and then return. Stria would seem the obvious choice."

The drake does not object to Llewelyn emptying the saddle bags while Stria is stroking it's neck. He finds a sturdy antique dagger (History check to identify), a potion of healing, and a tonic of antivenom.
When Stria tries to mount the drake, the drake bolts. Stria isn't strong enough to hold the drake and it flies off.
Harknail comments, "Mayhaps it doth not like riders. If that be true, it be best that thee failed to mount."

As the drake bolts Stria falls backwards onto her behind with a slight growl from the pain seep through her teeth.
You are probably right Paladin. Did you see which direction it flew? Perhaps it is returning to its stables.
She turns to Llewelyn
What do you make of the dagger?
She attempts an arcana check on the dagger

Blastishy walks over to were the dagger is and looks at it and tries to remember anything it would relate to any of the history that he knows of. history skill roll [dice=20]+10= 29[rand=9227358389180154930000051157549419745165156200538471854731906205]

Stria could find no trace of magic on the dagger.
Blastishy recognizes the dagger as an antique dagger that dates back to the Dragonborn Empire. He can find a mark that indicates that it was made on Ustraternes, one of the Dragonborn flying citadels. He estimates it's value as 250 GP, though it might be hard to find a buyer in this unsettled region.
Moonhaven, the biggest town in the region, is still just a small town. The settled regions are across the ocean. Dragons and dragonborn can be found far to the south.

Harknail point the direction that drake flew, the same direction that Romra went following the trail on the ground.
Meanwhile Romra notices a drake flying overhead as he follows the easy to follow trail that the drake left on the ground.

Blastishys eyes light up with excitement and turns to the others. that dagger dates back to the time of the great Dragonborn Empire. It was forged in Ustraternes. This mark was inscribed onto it was done by a skilled craftsman as was the blade. They put such dedication into it. looking at this I can tell you that it is most likely worth around 250 gold. I think we may want to keep this for now it may be handy later if we ever reach the flying city, yet holding onto it may cause more problems then it is worth. they may not like that we having something from one of their lost citadels. A peace like this does not go unnoticed in less concealed. If they find out we have it and they are still around and have not all died out they will want it back and rightfully so. yet if you wish to sell it you are more then welcome to do so, that is if you can find a buyer.[/i].

"Well, either way, we should probably follow the drake. I doubt we can keep up with it, but we might learn something. Also, what kind of problems are you expecting from holding onto the dagger?" Llewelyn isn't much of a historian, so although he does know of the Dragonborn Empire, he knows little else other than that it existed, used drakes as mounts, and did not last.

Dart is still watching for signs that the drakes are in the area. If he sees a riderless drake headed his way he'll follow it. Currently he's near a water source. Looking for signs that the drakes had landed in the area.

Romra will try to track it back following the trail, and if he should run into any spots he is not sure of he will follow what direction the drake flew, assuming that it would fly straight home not in a roundabout way.

"It would seem that the followers of Zehir have found this citadel, Ustraternes was it?"
Barbatos peers up at the distant drake, looking for signs of a rider, "Are we sure that's the same drake?"
