"then its settled. Back to town, no scouting. Its probably for the best just in case others of these Drake Riders are around, or if the Rabid Drakes attack as well." Romra moves to follow Harknail, who willingly or not seems to have taken the lead of the group.

"What of the dragonborn? Do we bring him with us, bury him here, or leave him untouched for others to find?"
Edit: Barbatos is talking

Harknail stopped at Barbatos's question and thought about it for a moment before answering, "I care not what becomes of the body of on who followed an evil god. If it be on a trail I would bury it to prevent the stench from being a problem. If any of ye think something be done with the body, I be helping."

"Does anyone know the burial rites of a Dragonborn? or any of this god? If not i suggest we give him to the elements. a Pyre with Water and Earth would be a simple rite." Romra suggests.

Dart takes the map and put's it into his bag, "Leave him where he is. His people may send someone to retrieve him. Harknail we don't know the mountain folk are evil. In fact we know less then nothing about them. The only thing we know is the drakes attacked the farmers and have been attacking the farmers for a while. Every thing else we are aware of is only circumstantial with many different conclusions possible."

Harknail answered, "Mayhaps they be not all evil. But they weareth the symbol of an Evil god and brandeth their mounts with such same symbol. What other conclusions hath you from such evidence?" Harknail continued to wonder if Dart was an agent for whoever was behind the drakes.

Dart takes the map and put's it into his bag Barbatos spoke up "Don't pack that away, Tol will need time to study it if he is to make an accurate copy"Turning back to the rest of the group, "a warrior from a long dead empire, and a weapon over two centuries old. I wonder if they have been hiding all this time or frozen somehow." The mage picks up a handful of the coins, looking for a date or mark.[rand=217957314166583269265552498572399726648685691364103017851589836179]

Most of the coins are ancient coins from the Dragonborn empire. There are a few new coins from the realm of dragons (and dragonborn) as well.

GM historical the Nazis symbol we all know used to be a symbol of peace in china 3000 years ago. We could today live in a church to the devil that had been sold to us and had been turned into a home. Symbols need dates and current meaning to be clear.
Dart says, "I'm going to keep it until we can make a copy then I'm returning the map to the dead - just in case the map might be missed when the body is found. And no we don't want to move the body, but we do need to work quickly. I agree with Harknail about finding ink and parchment and a table to draw on as quickly as we can."

symbols of the eternal gods in the dnd realms are fairly constant since they can actualy effect the real world and say what they believe unlike a swatstica.

I know. But we don't know the source of the GM's game. If it is standard D&D - in the Realms different sects may follow only a part of their gods teachings. I have most of the old books and such reference material does show up from time to time. In the realms books evil - paladins of LG gods do pretend to remain followers of their gods. Now I know the GM pretty well and he never plays a underhanded game but he does professionally keep secrets. It's required to do his job. So never be to conferrable.

Barbatos turns the coins over in his hand, inspecting them (do the coins look as old and worn as their age would suggest?)Prepared to leave he spares a final glance at the dragonborn, seeking any hint of magic that they might have missed, and then turns to return to town, running the map through his memory to ensure it would not be lost should the gnome bolt once more. They have been apparently sitting around for quite some time. The newer coins show a bit of wear but no corrosion. There are a fair number of gold and other coins scattered around.

"It's to bad Dart's already left. He'd tell the party to leave the money behind. The GM called me last night and asked me why Dart didn't dive in and collect the gold coins. Dart didn't collect the coins because when the body is found. His people are going to know what he had with in reason been carrying and that includes money. If the money's gone. Dart's efforts to gain the upper hand with the bodies people is clearly a waste of time. As it is Dart will find out about it. So I guess he's going to find himself in another disagreement with the party. When Dart return the map to the dead guy's bag. He'll ask about it."

Tol
I watch the gnome take off, and though he has the map i follow the warden. Zombie, werewolves, the horror play heads to the forest to get ready stupid campers.
"Romra, I'm no good in the woods honestly but i'll offer what aid I can." i say following after him for the funeral rights. "if i dont get away from that gnome i might have to show him how a real lock acts..." i mumble quietly.

Romra shakes his head at Top's words. "Violence against him does not aid our mission. As of right now he may aid us in said mission. So long as he is only an annoyance and not a hinderance we would he the ones in the wrong to be hostile." Romra reflects on the confusing actions of the gnome as he tries to find a opening in the trees.
