Ka'lion returns to human form. "So captain we have no work currently. Do we do some charity work or stay out of the way?"

As Vadania steps out the hunchback calls down to her about barbarians to the north, moving towards the temple. Both she and Throsah can also see archers climbing into position on buildings to the west, several hundred feet from the tavern. Vadania and Ylva head north to protect the temple since that's the threat that they're told about. She keeps her senses alert to spot any ambushes (After all these decades, she's still a bit paranoid about ambushes).

Knowing that most, if not all of the temple guards had travelled south to battle the undead Vadania makes her way through the streets towards the towering stone building at the north of the town and the origin of it's name - the springs of the only truly clear water in the fell.
The temple grounds are surrounded by a low wooden palisade, though there are several entrances being held by a handful of guards and townfolk. With Throsahs guidance the group quickly come up behind the breakaway barbarian party, two dozen men, pushing through an entryway at the side of the palisade used by tradesmen.
A few townsfolk block the entrance, amongst them the blacksmith Vadania had met earlier - Grale - using the narrow entrance to hold the attack off. The barbarians at the palisade however are merely holding ground while half their number move to scale the barrier to either side of the defenders.
The barbarians are 90 feet away when the group rounds the buildings and spots them - post your actions.

Throsah will take to the heights once more. Climbing to the top of whatever is nearby he will pull out his bow and shoot down whoever is closest to the top of the wall.

Sorry again for being late, sickness hasn't left yet =/ Anyways, could you copy down the entry for Augment healing for me? I don't have access to the books anymore since I moved. Aelos will speak with the young girl, "Can you defend yourself? If so, be prepared to do so, the invaders may give you no chance to prepare. If not, I suggest you hide soon." I'm not really sure how much Aelos has heard from outside, and how aware he is of what is going on, I imagine Ka'lion will be able to fill him in, until then, Aelos will be concerned with guarding those who can't fight. Also, how much does Aelos know is in the temple? This will affect his choices of which to prioritize to defend.

Noc Teron
I approach on foot, already covered in sleek black fur similar to my own moms pelt. The throng of Barbarian trying to break into some building just ahead, i rush forward to lend aid to the defenders, and so maybe if we survive all this they wont chase me out of town as well.

Anyways, could you copy down the entry for Augment healing for me? Added to your sheet.
The temple contains the springs which give the town its name, various religious and magical artefacts of little power, a library of magic, a forge, living quarters and stores. The priesthood tries to buy up all magical items that come through the town - some are kept, others are traded away in cities to the north or south or shipped to other locations. The tavern clears out around Aelos as those few who remain quickly board up the windows, well practiced from the weeks of storms - he imagines many of those who remain work or are staying here though Darrian has yet to rise from his slumber. The performing girl grabs up her kitten and runs out following Vadania and the others with a mixture of fear and curiosity in her eyes and peering out the door Aelos can see the rest of the group moving north towards the temple. ... The barbarians are caught by surprised as the group launches its attack, arrows from Vadania and Ka'lion catching one as he tries to scale the palisade throwing him to the ground. Nearby Throsah lines up a shot of his own but is startled by a noise behind him, turning quickly fearing attack he fires wide into the air as he sees that it is the performing girl from before awkwardly scrambling onto the same rooftop - she squeeks and ducks as the arrow flies overhead "don't shoot don't shoot don't shoot!"Looking up at the girl from the street Madaline shouts out at her to come down before she breaks something as several arrows fly past from the barbarians - though none strike true. At the palisade itself two of the eight men pushing the entrance turn at the attack, protecting their companions as best they can with wooden shields. A group of five to the east, partially concealed by the buildings, continue to scale the wall while the largest group - to the west - drop down from the wall and return fire, four archers amongst their number. Three barbarians break off from this largest group and move behind the buildings to the west, flanking the party. The rest stand their ground. Vadania can make out what appears to be a small dog that runs out from buildings nipping at the heels of one of the barbarians who kicks it away, though it persists its attack. More concerning is a shaman who stands behind a shield bearer holding his staff to the sky. --------------------------------------- Eight barbarians dead ahead fighting at the gate, two holding shields towards the party to protect their companions.
Five barbarians scaling the wall to the east, partially obscured
Four archers, a shaman behind a shield bearer, and one other blocking Terons route to the shaman to the west.
Three barbarians lost from sight behind the western buildings, presumably flanking.

(how close does Throsah want to move? He starts 90 feet away and doesn't get the point shot bonus until 30 feet)

Noc Teron
Init [dice=20] +0=12
I silent curse at myself for the lack of my own useful spellwork as i continue trying to nip at my target. I wonder for a moment if perhaps assuming my true form would do any better, but my physical weakness would be more of a liability in this close of combat then the agility of my fox form. Though i will have to be weary if they begin to surround me.

Wish we could coordinate this attack better, that shaman is probably going to eat me in a few rounds.[rand=58923022323069318973141079779970264596016066156466700446349906524]

Throsah would prefer to be within 30ft while still on a rooftop if possible. Hopefully people wont expect an arrow from this height. Would be willing to make a stealth check as well if it would mean they couldn't see me.

Throsah would prefer to be within 30ft (It's more that Throsah has a move of 40 gliding - not fast enough to get into short range and shoot in one turn unless he has another means of movement)The fox latches onto the leg of the barbarian with the shield, a nasty wound but the warriors are made of tough stuff.

Ok, then remove +1 attack and 1 damage. I want to stop the scalers, but wasn't sure their distance.

Vadania moves towards the east to get a clear shot of those barbarians scaling the wall there. She tries to find cover for the expected return arrows. Although she could hit better closer, she's happy to keep to long range where her bow has the advantage over swords. She keeps Ylva with her for now, trying to make sure the wolf is out of the line of returned arrows.

As arrows rain down towards the barbarians the shaman waves his staff outwards creating a billowing cloud of fog which fills the street between the group and the attackers, impossible to see through though Throsah can see over the cloud - and the barbarians can see him in return, and arrow catching him in the arm (5 damage)
Several of the barbarians kick at Noc Teron but have difficulty catching the small creature, though he feels decidedly isolated and surrounded - a boot catching him across the area from behind to remind him of the danger (2 damage, subdual)
[aelos to act, and then around to Ylva and Throsah]
The fog bank is about 30 feet from the barbarians, 60 from the groups start position, and blocks sight though you can shoot through it blindly - the rooftops are high enough to see over it.
The barbarians at the east wall are not hidden by the fog, but the buildings offer them protection until the group moves much closer

Is a single move enough to get clear of the fog and buildings to allow attacking the Barbarians scaling the east wall?

Is there a nearby high point that would allow us to attack above the fog?
