You raise a good point AT. are any of the cloaks more suitable for stealth? I didn't realize the sun emblem was so bright.

All the capes are a single colour with metallic threading - the moon cloak is black, thunder grey, lightning dark blue, ice light blue, fire an orange-red, acid a yellow-green, and sun white.
Of course the capes are magical and all have slightly different properties.

Garrot, upon seeing how fancy the moon cloak looked, respectfully asked the villagers if he could switch to the moon cape.

"I think the rest of you should consider getting a moon cape. The most likely powers of such a device is shapeshifting and maybe you can start keeping up with me or darkvision and we found out in the tunnels just how helpful that was and another possibility is resistance to cold weather. All would be very useful for us. It would also give our team a uniform for any formal occasions. Black is always in style." pointed out Ka'lion

Vadania answered, "I don't think there are enough moon cloaks for all of us. Besides, I think this Thunder cloak likes me."
OOC: Your guesses where good before Ka'lion tried on the cloak. Now that he has, he can feel that it might eventually be used to snare opponents weapons. And that it doesn't have night vision or shape shifting abilities.

Ka'lion makes no more suggestions but wearing bright or noisy things at night is very dangerous when you or others are trying to hide.

Altar looks towards George, hoping he will choose a cape and end this decidedly awkward meeting. Meanwhile Garrot exchanges capes and finds the moon cape slightly numbing just as Ka'lion did, in fact almost exactly the opposite of the sun cape. He has no sense that it might transform him however, nor does it seem to possess any animate qualities - unless it springs to life in the heat of battle it's defensive qualities were quite probably secondary to whatever magic it possessed. Garrot styles and poses in his new Cloak and says "Neat huh! Maybe we should let that old guy upstairs look at these and tell us more about them before we move on?"

"Sounds like a good idea to me. Once we are dismissed. I hate formal places." said Ka'lion in a whisper.

So what capes are left ? who has picked what so far? There are enough of the capes that George can pick any that he likes. Ka'lion chose the moon cape, as did Garrot after deciding that the white and gold sun cape was too bright. Vadania chose the thunder cape, and Altar the lightning.(there is no right or wrong choice as the capes are all identical save for the element they are tied to)

Capes in hand the group take their leave to prepare for their next course of action, though having fought through the night fatigue is starting to set in for some.
A trip through the fell would be long and difficult with few if any settlements along the path and a great deal of danger, not a journey to embark on lightly.

Garrot yawns and says "why don't we at least stay here one night and rest without fear of attack from the undead, goat people or gods knows what else. In the morning we can ask about these cloaks, pick up any other information we need, and then make our decision on where to go next. (he scratches his head and then says) Where are we going next anyway?"

"We are going to find the barbarian's that attacked Clearwater. We need to find out what they know and why they attacked the city." say's Ka'lion, "I'll see you in the morning."

Altar inquires, "what need do you have of arcane knowledge in the medical ward? If you are seeking Eldon he still sleeps, I have asked that we be told when he awakens"

Vadania will also stop by the clinic to help out a bit, though she'll need to sleep soon. She's not a great healer, but she is trained.
She'll also offer to return the healing scrolls that George gave her.
