4.1 Introducing Oris

Either is fine with Oris. He slips off to get a vantage point that is not to near and not to far from where the others are positions, ready to fight.

Harknail is confused by Zem's suggestion. "How ye get cart outside unnoticed?"

OOC: Inside the came is a good vantage point, where you can see them (thanks to their torches), but they can't see you. They are already at close range for Oris's bow and getting closer. Vetch could probably get behind them unnoticed, but I don't think anyone else could.

OOC2: Looks like the new color selection offers too many choices to ever pick a consistent color

Oris then readys his bow, making sure that he is behind harknail but still able to see and hit his target without to much difficulty

Barbatos holds his position, without someone to follow he doubts he would be able to find a good spot outside in the darkness.

OOC: I talked to Zem's player in person. What he has in mind is:

Plan A, lure the gnolls into the cave, then keep them there.

Plan B, if the gnolls don't go into the cave, Baratos and Oris keep them from leaving.

The problem is only Vetch is able to leave the cave without likely drawing the attention of the gnolls. I don't think anyone else is a master of stealth.

So i got internet once more, using cell phone. K yes those were my 2 opinions that i saw that we could do i am open to others. O we dont need barbarous to leave the cave. But have spells cutoff them leaving the cave. So just use icey tirane on them so they slip and fall, Vetch is fast seen him chase before so him in the cart is just fine and can chase if they run. harknail has more ac then me and could be the bait and i can heal him and myself so we are bait. If they do get away we jump them when the come back out of the cave. Trick is not to have to.

OOC: why don't we do this then: I will go invis and get behind them, make some noise to lure them into the cave (They might track us there anyway). Once they enter the cave, hit them with Oris' arrows, Barbatos' magic and then Vetch, Hark and Zem melee?

Harknail suggests, "If we be wanting Gnolls to enter cave, I should be pretending to be watch asleep on watch. The rest of ye should be out of sight around the bend of the cave or sneak out to be behind them."

Ya vetch go ahead and do that, hark can do his pretend. The bend may be too far back have not seen it so idk. Me and the wizard would be hidding in the cart, lets move the cart so it is close enough to the entrance but not too close so thatvthey have to come in. we are hidden but in a good spot. I think we go a good strategy. " ya lets do those ideas guys. Vetch i wish u speed and luck, it hindges on getting them in here. Ok guys not much time to get to our places, lets go. He moves to the cart and gets in hides in pile of boxes.

Having quickly formulated a plan, Vetch nods at Zem and the rest and sneaks back outside, triggering his armor's invisibility as he does. He intends to silently move to a place behind the approaching gnolls. He will wait until they enter the cave, and Oris shoots his bow. He will then attack the other gnoll.

While he is moving about, he will make sure the gnolls don't have any other company, and means to place himself in a position so he can run any gnoll down that tries to escape.

Vetch sneaks out unnoticed by the Gnolls, intent as they are on following the groups trail.

Here's the map with my guess as to where people want to be (Vetch is just starting to move out at this point), the Gnolls are off the map. There isn't time to move the cart, but it's reasonably well situated. Harknail is sitting on the ground leaning on the cart with his head slumped trying to look like he's sleeping.

Let me know where you want to be when the Gnolls reach the cave entrance and I'll update the map.

Vetch would like to position himself behind the gnolls so he can strike from behind and hopefully not get hit by any arrows or spells. He will wait until Oris attacks and then strike whichever gnoll Oris doesn't attack with his bow.

Vetch can easily stay out of their light and quietly circle around them. What square would he like to be in when the gnolls reach the cave entrance?

Barbatos will hold his position unless guided out by someone else, the more time he has to prepare the better concealed he will be amongst the provisions.
