also found the wording of Cure Light Wounds if needed : Effect The target regains hit points as if it had spent a healing surge

As I already posted, the cure light wounds worked and stabilized him. The man is now conscious and is in no danger of dying (at least not from that injury). The heal check to stabilize him wasn't needed since the spell had already done so.
There is another set of doors in the room. The woman confirms that the small gnoll that had hacked off the man's leg went though here in a hurry and though the other door a few minutes ago.

Harknail I am asking you to stay here, and protect them. I know spliting up is bad and never great idea but we can't leave them nor have him moving on one leg we can't let the captive go. You stand the best chance of protecting them from her and if she does excape she knows she has no place to run to and we won't give her a second chance to live.

Barbatos points out that the cart would be useless to the gnoll as they left the horse before they came here, but goes with Vetch all the same.

OOC: To clarify, the kid has gone deeper into the complex and has not come back this way. Unless there is a second exit, then the kid is still in here and there's no rush to find her.

We need to get these two to the cart and lock up the gnoll in the mean time like you just offered harknail. Then we can go after the kid. If there is a second exit she would have gotten to it by now anyway even if we all out sprinted, there could be more traps in there. She had a bit of head start tho if not a secondary exit then our objectives still dont change these two need to remain safe, and this one to remain in custody. Harknail please help me with him, its time we got them out of here. Sir i ask that you put you arm here and hang on to us as we get you out.
Zem priority is getting these two to safty, he not taking arguments on the matter.

Harknail asks the gnoll, "Be there any other exits?"
She answers, "No, there's only one way in or out."
Harknail then asks, "What be beyond that door?"
The gnoll answers, "There is a large room with 2 side chambers. All three are used for sleeping, the higher status get the smaller side chambers."
His curiosity satisfied, Harknail locks the gnoll in the cage once the prisoners have been removed. But instead of hanging the key on the hook, he takes it with him as they attempt to escort the former captive out to the cart.
The group runs into no problems bringing the captives to the cart and settling them in there. They do blink a bit once they get out in the sun, but other wise seem fine.
OOC: Is anyone going to stay with the captives while the rest head back inside?

Nature: 9VeL4pZ5p_1-20+8=14 Not sure what you mean by fetch the cart. The cart (without horse) is just outside the entrance. You'd have to drag it up stairs and around a tight corner (which it wouldn't fit past) to bring it to the former captives. It would be much easier to carry the injured captive to the cart.

Zem looks at benn " since one of these cages held you for some time, and you being a caster we can i hope infer that the cage is enough to prevent her from trying anything ? Or should a few of stay just incase she tries anything ?, im ok with both options here. Yet of ones are to stay, Oris you and both our mages should stay i think. We should not be long.

Zem and company have no problems bringing the former captives back to the cart. Is Zem going to assign anyone to stay and guard them from anything that wanders by?

If anyone elects to stay behind with them im ok with that. I the player cant tell others what to do given it may mean staying out of combat if it comes to that with kid.
zem asks and demands when needed.
right now he needs to let others decide for themselves, what is important to them.

When the group returns (Harknail gave the cage key to Zem), those guarding the gnoll report that the door to the sleeping area opened while they were out, then closed again.

Looking at the gnoll, " Is she yout kin? Are you her mother or sister by chance? We dont wish any harm to the child if we go in there to get her she may give us hell.
Zem opening the door a just crack so he could heard in next room.
