You also know the defensive parts of the temple only turn off once you place the orb of that section into the proper place. Is the group aware of what to do to turn the traps off here / have they done it?Callo doesn't mind going without the orb, but does suggest presenting it front and center unless anyone has any better ideas on how to bypass any traps here. She is unaware of the newcomers proficiency at the task. p2M75yFdp_1-20 +26 perception = 38 She also summons another phantom bird from the air to take the lead, any traps it triggers would be that much easier for the party to evade and should it reach the end of the corridor it would show Callo anything that lurked beyond the corner. p_1-20 +14 perception = 33 1-201-20

Yes the party does know.
to turn off the fire traps they need to back track to the main fire lock near the first fire trap they found and place symbol of Isis into the fire lock.
The bird flys down the hall no traps go off nor monsters are in here it is just a hall.

Nokomis suggests we do that before going to the armory. Otherwise we're likely to face more fire traps, and some of our defense are wearing a bit thin.

( I do need to know what direction party wished to go in. So you can back track if want . It wont take up that much in game time to get back there.) Please let me know soon tho so that i can prepare tiles of halls/rooms. So far i think photos are helping so ill keep doing so, just need to know what rooms to prep.)

If it's only a short trip back Callo sees little reason not to wait for the traps to be disabled - though the image of the elf carrying the orb through here gives her pause.
As the cleric has claimed the orb it is ultimately his decision to go back or to risk his life here.

The party makes their way back into the room they were just in, then back down back to the long hall.
They recall if they enter that section a fire trap will set off Raining fire from above.
The orb strats glowing even brighter for its getting very close to the lock it belongs in.

OOC: How did we get past this the first time? I thought we disabled this trap. Did it somehow reactivate itself?

( first it was magically traped and had magic auto reset unless orb was placed into lock at the time you did not have orb. )
(This door is being heavily guarded for its very important to the temple. ( party already knows that too).
(There normaly would have been fire elementals in here too but Set put them all near the orb. It is why you found 5 in a single room.)

( So it was disabled first time you got to it. callo did very well . If it was non magical would not be wroking right now. Since it was, it is was down for a few moments It was set this way do to it protecting one of the most important doors. The mages felt they needed to set them so they retriger. Just in off chance they forgot something in different room/ section, they all knew each doors comand word.

So does the new guy wish to disable it? If it's kawaylon1's character that is holding the orb, then that does appear to be the case.
Callo will leave her magical bird as a lookout to avoid ambush, and will continue to search for traps as they make their way to the armoury in any event.

Nokomis (OOC): Did we ever determine if you had to touch the floor to trigger the trap? In other words, if we fly though the corridor, would we be safe? Also, is Bip fireproof or just fire resistant at this point?

I have 2 players wanting to go different directions at this point? The Armory is not in same as the orb door.
To shut off fire traps the orb needs to be placed in the door.
@ callo: The rougish/shadow dancer is who i was referring to that was my fult for being bit unclear on that.
the player you were reffering to plays the cleric.

( So each part of the hall is different So this part you can just hover over it and have it not go off.
The closer you get the more complex the trigger is. So there is more then one trigger in this hall.
Also im ruling any trapfinders can find magical traps and get no penalty for it being magical if there is one
otherwise trapfinding is not as helpful as it should be.)

To be clear on Callo's position - she wants to go to the armoury but has the (perhaps mistaken) impression that shutting off the fire traps might shut off the armoury traps.

Also, is Bip fireproof or just fire resistant at this point? Lesser evolution surge gives fire resistance 15 (as the eidolon evolution) and lasts for 13 minutes. I've lost track of how long it's been since the spell was cast--it might have a bit more time left on the duration.
