The Kobold loads a rock from a belt pouch into his sling and throws it across the pond in the general direction of Lincoln, but it misses him by a wide margin since it's actually aimed at Shen. Attack: RgefNkTnp_1-20+4=16 (miss) Damage: p_1-4+2=6
From the darkness on either side of Lincoln come two rocks that are aimed at him, followed by another rock from the right (apparently thrown from long distance).
Attack2: p_1-20+4=6 (miss) Damage2: p_1-4+2=3 Attack3: p_1-20+4=20 (hit) Damage3: p_1-4+2=3 Attack4:disadvantage p_1-20 p_1-20+4=8 (miss) Damage4: p_1-4+2=3
The kobold in sight picked the wrong target. He could have easily hit the halting, but Shen easily blocked the rock with his shield. One of the rocks from the right did connect though, leaving Lincoln hurt, but far from out of the action.

I don't usually use the dice roller for monsters, but I did this time to show how to format attacks.1-201-41-201-41-201-41-201-201-4

Bishop delays, waiting for the path before him to clear. A few kobolds were no real threat but where there were a few there could easily be many.

It is unlikely that your attack bonus is a +7. It should be your DEX modifier + proficiency, so probably +5 if you have a 16 or 17 in DEX.

Kamon-DO aims her x-bow in the direction of the kobold and fires; Kamon-Do hits the kobold for 5 damage. This is a tough kobold! It's still standing though it has a crossbow bolt sticking out of it's shoulder.

Just a reminder that I just use init to see who gets to move in the first player turn (in this case, no one). Other than that you can post in any order. That way we don't need to wait for each player to post in order.

Looking at the rules for attacking and defending while hidden, I think the kobolds should have advantage against us. Also, hidden targets give away their position when they attack (PHB 195), so the kobolds' locations (or at least at the time of their attacks) should be known now.
It would probably be a good idea for Bishop to advance forward with the light before anyone else without darkvision attacks.

The kobolds attacked from A7, J7, and M6 (long range). I'll put them on the map as soon as there is light in the room.
Bishop is the toughest member of the group, combining good AC with enough DR to block much of the damage that a kobold could do. Moving into the room might make him a target, but he can take it better than anyone else. Not that any of the characters know that yet

I just confirmed that I was remembering it correctly for this game. Yes, you can move though allies, but it's difficult terrain (2 spaces of movement per space moved), and you can't end your turn in the same space as someone else.

Bishop will advance to the side of his ally ahead as soon as the path is clear, or pushing forward and moving along the right hand wall (to E7). His objective is to provide light for the others but he unleashes a bolt from his crossbow at the nearby kobold while calling out the positions of any other he can see from his new position.

Bishop advances as far as he can (not quite reaching the halfling), then puts a bolt though the heart of the now brightly lit kobold in heart, killing it instantly. All the kobolds that had thrown rocks at Lincoln are now at least dimly lit. Map (updates as positions change)
