Ka'lion pulls him up. The gm had said the rest of the party was night time so - we would of been done swimming hours ago. And Ka'lion was not going to dive on the wreak at all. So I'm just confused.

Ooc : ( It was not clear due to the gm asked mainly us if we kept going. I was unable to respond and by time i was the ship conversation/exploration jumped in
Then the side stuff what spells it could or does or does not have.
So because it was not clear what all that was IC or OOC i took all that in as : the ship got explored and then an argument broke out over the ship spells meanwhile george was still in the water for no one acutely said to come to land.
We go IC and OCc so offten and if people dont put what is what then im going off of what sean im actually in at from now on.
So hence him started drowing.)

The big clarification post -
-The party reached the shallow valley in the later afternoon. -The valley contains a deep lake supplied by a fairly small waterfall. There is the remains of a large ship half buried at the bottom of the lake. -Behind the waterfall there is a smaller pool which contains the figurehead.
-Upon arriving the party began to discuss diving for the ship -Mid-discussion Ka'lion wandered off to the smaller pool instead, finding the figurehead. -The party dragged the figurehead out of the pool for Brennen to identify, as the evening rolled in.
-George went paddling in the now clear pool while Brennen and Tink returned to the lake to study the ship from the surface.

Ka'lion would be in the pool with Goerge if Goerge wanted to swim until he he no longer needed help.

Ooc :
Ok so then no he would not be drowing then but we as players need to make more sure when seans are over. We cant just keep jumping in and out of seans as we do. Thats when miscommunication happens more.

As Ka'lion has no way to contact his family to sell the flesh golem tome during the nights campfire he tosses the magic book into the fire so it can't be used by evil. Selling it to anyone else could endanger the foolish.

As Ka'lion has no way to contact his family to sell the flesh golem tome during the nights campfire he tosses the magic book into the fire so it can't be used by evil. As you wish. Does the group want to embark on any other actions before nightfall? If not choose watches and reselect spells.

What a waste of money - that book was worth 8,000$ will that's one way to use up magic items. Besides Kalion was the only person in the party that could use the book and robber graves for body parts had no interest for him. Ka'lion gets new spells at dusk. He'll take first watch. Afterword it's time to release Ghost so he can get another horse companion. He can't put anymore on his horse.
New spells detect poison, detect magic, create water 3 rays of enfeeblement and lets see what my cloak does and take cause wounds for the rest of my spells.

and lets see what my cloak does and take cause wounds for the rest of my spells. D6 extra negative energy damage, 3 times per day. I think Lynette mentioned to Vadania something about the process behind restoring greater power to the cloaks, but not while Ka'lion was with the party.

" So who is taking watches. I never had the best eyes in our party. Tho we dont know exactly what we are doing tomorrow.
Ka'lion you did not need to destroy the book i would have liked to at least read it. I get why you did, and i get your upset you cant contact family.
You remember my dad left his shop to me in his will, it was hard when he passed but at least yours is alive.
Maybe someday i could find where he is burried and use speak with dead.
I could use his advice right about now.
Anyway if there are ever books you dont want ill be happy to read them and i ask you let me finish them before you take them back."

Ka'lion you did not need to destroy the book i would have liked to at least read it. It doesn't burn quickly if anyone wants to fish it out of the fire, but it does burn.

Brennen takes the book out of the fire. "Don't burn books," he says, slightly miffed. "Knowledge is a precious thing."

"II already let you look at the book. You would of seen the same things I did/ A flesh golem is made from human body parts. t it takes an arcane caster a lot more powerful then I am. To do anything with it. Now if we had fought the demon and lost the demon would have the book. I'm sure he could of found necromancers to use it. And I promise you they would not be good aligned. The only way I can think of to contact my family now is using up a number of scrolls with the sending spell until one of them worked. I don't think they'd work because I'm not very charismatic. I hate burning books. I like to read. But that book would of only been safe in good aligned necromancers hands. That's 1 out of 10 or less. And I was not even sure my family would buy it. They just are the only people qualified to honestly tell me what to do with it. As far as trusting merchants I've been wiped off by every one of then with the exception of you. So I cut down on the weight on my horse by 10 pounds. I'm sure she'll thank me for it." says Ka'lion, "I wasn't burning knowledge. I read it. So did Goerge. You should throw it back in unless you want to go around collecting dead bodies to choo up and have the skills required to build it. Because I won't let you sell it. I'm not going to be directly responceable for evil getting their hands on it."

" Ka'lion i know you dont trust merchants and yes i get you feel they riped you off by them. I found that Shamious here is actually got a nack for sorting out true cost of thing. If we let him he might be able to make sure to best of his ability the ones we meet now wont get away with it. Do know He is not perfect at it but at least he can do his best for you to not be riped off as you have been.
Your right i hate merchants who do underhanded sells and buys. For it gives us nice ones a bad reputation. I was an honest merchant, Shamious an honst blacksmith but in a world ridden with evil it makes doing those jobs harder. So now even honest ones are getting desperate. I'm not saying thats excusing thier ill intent by doing so, and most under normal conditions are out for coin and themselfs regardless.
I have travled far and wide. They will say they have 5 kids when they have none. Or my son is sick when thier not or thats a pile of useless junk when its worth is 50gp or more. Or sell useless erbs to "heal you" " love potions"that cant work. Man i have seen it in all kinds not just here. As to the book its yours ka'lion do what you want with it. If you feel it should be destroyed let me use shatter on it. That way its faster. Then burn the rest. I agree its content in bad hands only makes things worse.
As to preserving Knowledge yes i agree it should be, yet some is best forgoten and not retought. Certain types have led to worse if not terrible outcomes. Im not judging that some have tried jot to use this kind of magic for ill. So even with best intent some spells have led to putting ones down a dark path without them knowing til its too late.
As my god is nutral what happens to that book is not my call nor yours. Its ka'lions for its his responsibly why because he found it making it his.
If he does not want it then he give it to me, thoes are the only two options we have, which do you pick?"
George extends his hand out if offered the book.

Vadania mentions, "The order of the Silver Flame might give us something for the book, just to get the book out of circulation. I wouldn't expected them to offer something of equal value, but if they offer anything it's more than you would get from destroying the book." Vadania doesn't seem to much care either way.

It accuses to me their be some value to the book but I'd need to reread it to make certain. The spells for enchanting flesh golems could be in the book - if so limited wish would be one of them and there may be others. I'll look it over tonight and decide in the morning. Melvin might want it and I think he's good aligned and he's a giving teacher." said Ka'lion thinking the book may have some value he didn't think of before.

( OOC: Also how damaged is the book) Singed around the edges, but Brennen recovered it quickly and the party tends not to build large fires. Whether the damage will have any impact on the reliability of the magic contained within remains to be seen. As for the Silver Flame, they are an order exclusive to the Steadlands that control the monastery gate to the east. The monastery walls block the only easy trading route for caravans through the eastern mountains (the point at which the mountain range along the south of the Steadlands turns north) though the Silver Flame are not known to either prevent passage nor demand payment. The east road continues on into the broken lands and then on into the Empire. From what George has heard the order largely disbanded years ago having been formed in response to prophesy of a great evil from the east. When the time came and the evil did not many of the warriors of the order struck out away from the monastery - some believing that they had misinterpreted the locations, others questioning the prophesy entirely. The group is aligned with the gods of good and law, but said to be ordered around the Silver Flame itself, an artifact said to be the source of the original prophesy.
