" From what i know they disbanded a while back. So it wont be easy finding them or even one for that matter. For they scattered quite far, how far i have no idea."

"They still exist. I was invited to join them about a month again and they trained me in an extra feat. Vedanta's a member. I decided." says Ka'lion

Vadania elaborates, "The Silver Flame has a monastery where the silver flame itself is kept. There are not many priests left, a demon took over the monastery and most of the priests. We recaptured the demon in the Silver Flame and the monastery is now under control of the Order of the Silver Flame again. The demons have moved on into the desert, and the Order of the Silver Flame is supporting the fight against them."
"During the fight both Ylva and I were empowered by the silver flame. Ylva became much bigger, I became able to enchant my arrows. So I'm not a member of the order, but I do have a connection to them."
"Last time I was there, there were many traveling merchants there, so that might be a good place for trade."
"They would be allies in any efforts against the demons, but Ka'lion doesn't like them. I think it's mostly about his glowing picture book of how to fight the demons. The order wanted it to be used to fight the demons, either for us to use it, or for us to give it to someone else who would. Ka'lion wanted to keep it and hide while the demons consolidated their power. He figured he'd fight the demons when he felt ready. Everyone else figured it would be too late by then. The order ended up copying the book, but no one was happy."

OOC - George of course was present when Ka'lion begrudgingly (and for a price) allowed Altar to take charcoal copies of the books engraved pages.

I do recall a time they just wanted him to hand it over and for them to keep it. Unless these were others i jave not meet. I Do felt it was wrong to just take it from someone and just say hand it over. Tho the old man was in bad shape no excusing his ill behavior. That book may have power but i dont feel comfortable just handing it over to anyone. More to say its not mine to hand over, thats ka'lions. I have always tried to play peacemaker in this group but it has not helped. I cant get you to see eye to eye so at this point its a simple waste of my time. If you feel finding the order is best then ok."

Vadania replies, "The order was fine with us keeping the book, as long as we used it to fight the demon. What they objected to was us taking the book, which contained information essential for fighting the demons, and hiding it so that no one can use it. From the point of view of the order, Ka'lion's plan would have doomed the world. I don't think anyone was happy with how things ended up, but at least it allowed the fight against the demons to continue without us involved."

"A barbarian would of killed anyone from the order that tried to take a known weapon from them without offering fair trade for the item. That was their screw up. They are supposed to be wiser then that. Their second mistake was ordering me to give it to them. That would of ended up with me or them all dead. Which would of defeated their perpuse. To me the book has value as story book and as a light source. Because no one can read it. It has no other value. I let the order copy it to maintain the peace. Not because they are right. If I had given them the book. It would be in the demons hands right now. Because the demon was able to take over the order's priests and animate their dead. So I made the right choice. And we made the wrong one to. We should of broke into the vault. The items in the vault may have a clue as to how to read the book and powerful weapons and artifact to fight the demon's with. All we found was a number of item near the book but their powers where dormant and I think in the items weakened state the demon was able to escape. Now we are headed somewhere that may or may not allow us to pass to break into the vault. If they won't then Vedanta's and Altor made a bad call. But we won't know for sure until we get in. But all that is secondary to whats important. We can't win. Some demon's exploded and kill everything around them when they die. That may be the reason they impressioned in the first place. But it's just another theory." suggested Ka'lion

Vadania replied, "A barbarian from around here would have used the book to fight the demon, and would have never had a conflict with the Silver Flame. The only reason you had a conflict is that you didn't want to use the information in the book to fight the demon, and you didn't want to turn it over to those who would use it. You can't read a picture book, you have to interpret the pictures. And you alieanated the people who could best help you interpret them. At the time we really didn't have any way to get into the vault even if we wanted to. The magic items found with the book could have been revived, but you got rid of most of them. Nothing in a vault is going to help you with your book, though there may be useful items there."
"I do agree with you that you can't win. But that's because even when we do win you say we've lost."

" See shamious i was not kidding when i said i tried to keep the peace now you can see it with your own eyes.
" yes sir, but did you not all say that deserve eachother?"
" O right, what i was meaning was that they fight more then a married couple and they should just get over thier tention but they wont. I just learned to hear both sides only for it to go round and round."

" And now shamious for Vadania's counter argument... "
"Sir i dont think thats helping at all."
" Me helping naw they would not want someone to get them to agree on anything. It would ruin the dynamic as well as epic arguments they have.
For example Vadania wants to fight the demon or once did no idea if she still wants too. ka'lion here did not and still does not want to. He thinks it would kill us all.
And around and around we go with the age old argument.
O did i mention this was how many months ago i cant recall i lost count anyway they are still at the only part of face him now face him later bit?
Thats the very first part mind you.
So as i said its to the point now i sit back and watch.
Fill free shamious in trying to get the to decide ether way."

"George that's not accurate. We both agree the demon needs to be defeated. I say we can't win because we are fighting a god class demons based on the powers we've seen. I'm of the opinion we need to be as powerful as we can get first and I base that on every battle we survived. We had to be rescued by being's unknown. Vedanta thinks the demon was weakened by it's captivity. That belief keeps her going. But it's simply not true and she refuses to see it because it undermines her belief's. And that is why we argue like husbands and wives do. We argue because we care enough to fight for something to believe in. Physically I'm not a strong barbarian. To compete with other barbarians I've learn to evade combat long enough to fight them using strategies and not force. Combat we are going to loose! Unless we are capable take a pounding." said Ka'lion

Brennen recalls the book from when he first met the party at the monastery - Ka'lion had called it his night light, and had used it as such ever since. And with what he has said of his home he is as much a barbarian as Brennen is a ninja.
Still the raptorian sees little point in adding to the debate and thinks ahead to the next day. By now the force travelling towards Clearwater would have reached their destination and with word from George and his companion of forces massing on the Woldegard border he wonders what the party might find there, should they eventually turn east.

Brennen would be a fool to think Ka'lion doesn't come from a simple people. Yes, he's educated, A nightlight to read by is normal for him. But his does put it away before sleeping. Ka'lion does not fear the dark. He just can't read by it.

Does Tink want to investigate any of the magic spots on the wreckage of the ship? These might be something interesting, but they could also be magical traps that could hurt Tink.

Tink finds that roughly half the ship is buried, and in a fairly bad way. The missing figurehead clearly comes from the ship and more signs of impacts can be seen in what is left of the hull - it is difficult for Tink to tell if the skeletal appearance from the surface is the result of centuries of rot and wear or the result of fire or acid that has burnt through the outer hull.
She can see no sign of a mast or sail but there are the scattered remains of crew members. Whether some survived to pull the figurehead to the surface or if it was cut from the ship at a later date is impossible to determine.
The entire vessel has a slight magical aura but the bulk of it's power if focussed around the central stone ring and the bright points are crystals embedded within, seemingly fused to the stone.
One crystal at the top, one on the exposed side, and one presumably buried opposite. The ring appears to have taken a heavy impact and a significant part of the lower edge is missing where Tink may have expected to find a fourth crystal, though the rings shape and position of the other crystals make the existence of a fourth ambiguous - the Eladrin had never seen this kind of construction before for a point of reference.

In the mean time george plays cards with shamious passing the time. Not really betting more a friendly way to not be board.
" Shamious how long do you wish to stay?
"No sure why do you ask?" " Well With each passing day i only see more arguments some new some old i am useless here. They wont hear what i have to say and they rather rom about with thier heads cut off then start doing the partial things nessesary to be a team. Its been what a few day since we got back tell me what changed.
Sir i dont know them so i cant give you an unbiased opinion.
That does not change With each passing day we stand devived. They want blinders on ok let him.
As a unit we set out for star metal. Yes that did not work out as well as we hoped. Yet atleast we had an actual goal.
From what you have told me you can forge some great gear with it. I have zero interest in dealing with a lost cault who screwed over my friend once already, recruitment of another with zero information she needs with no back up. Its great a god picked her but now she has a responsibility to said god. Great powers come at a price.
Yet thouse how i met from said religion I found they that they only gives a shit about a book fighting a demon and willing to just take what they want to do so no matter the cost.
To me thats just as evil, toss in the hypocritical nature of them is to much to handle. I found them to be two faced as well. I saved that old mans life and did not even get a thank you and our traveling compaion rushes to his idea when he said hand the book over.
Ka'lion and i both felt betrayed and she joins them?.
Shamious i give up this hand you win this round deal another
Game continues:
Wanting to beat the enemy ok but to do it at any cost? Then the demon won twice over already, and we have not even came together. You tell me the odds of winning that.
i wont face people like that again or at least not by choice, or they most likly wont be walking away.
Fighting or even finding out what the demon is up too in the current location its in only brings more woo.
I can see it now last bit of food
" no you cant have it i need it more, great now we all starve to death and so on. Yep thats what they are in for if they cant come together. I dont see that happening anytime soon.
Yet not stopping it only brings more woo where it choose to go next. Hence the continued debate.
Gin! New hand shamious
Well i never said my god was a simple one.
Shamious : "um sir?"
" What? "
" GIN! "

"George I'd like you to stay. But basically you agree with my points. Vedanta is wrong. But that doesn't mean she's thoughtless. Just wrong. This is a no win fight in it's current form. So we need tools. In this case that means more exsparance and training and strong magic. A second level party is no match for a demon that can control time or turn the world into the undead. The truth is we don't even know how we survived. In two more levels we should be ready to retrieve the artifacts to awaken their full powers. Right now the vault is the only place we haven't looked and it's where we should of started. So that's where I'm going and after I can polymorph from my druid studies, and then learning how to become a shapshiter - we will need to seek out the artifacts and the druids again. If not we will need to awaken the full powers of the artifacts which will take a while. But your Starmetal mine. Vedanta and I already found. It's unsafe to explore." says Ka'lion

The group drifts apart as George, Shamious, and Ka'lion gather at the fire to play cards while a short distance away at the shore of the lake Vadania and Brennen wait for Tink to come up with information.
Tink returns soon enough and recites what she had found. Night is drawing in however.
(Actions? If the party is just resting up for the night choose spells now)
