As the first wave of lightning comes in Barbatos calls upon the power of his diamond bracers to throw up a magical barrier against further harm (resist 10 vs electricity for the rest of the encounter)
Seeking to aid the others further against the dragon, and after his earlier failure, Barbatos combines his psychic magic with ice hoping that the dual attack would have better success against the creatures formidable defenses.
Illusory Ambush NPWFf9CCp_1-20+9 = critical hit vs Will Critical = 6+6+p_1-6 = 16 psychic damage, and a -2 penalty to its attacks next round.
Action point, Icy Terrain(with action surge) - under the dragon p_1-20+12 = 31 vs Ref p_1-6+6 cold damage Target falls prone and the area is difficult terrain.
(the dragon also takes 10 points of stinking cloud damage for having started in the area of effect its last round and Barbatos uses his move action to roll the poisoned cloud back over the dragon, avoiding Harknail)1-201-61-201-6

OOC: actually I'd like Stravanya to go first as she won't be able to activate her Razorclaw shifting power once she's healed. Hope that's ok Minor Action: Razorclaw Shifting Move Action: I10 Standard Action: Deadly Stride Shift to L11 Attack Rolls: 10+11+2= 23 10+11+2= 23 Damage Rolls: 10+4+9+2= 25 Total Damage Hitting the Dragon with her Deadly Stride, Stravanya realizes that the Dragon is not going to last much longer. It will either die, or perhaps flee. Map (updates as positions change)

I forgot to mention that the Dragon did save against Stravanya's Bond of Foresight at the end of its turn. Dragons are especially good at saving throws.

Thanks for reminding me about the stinking cloud damage at the start of the Dragon's turn. I had forgotten about that. The damage is recorded now. Unless the players role badly, I don't think the Dragon is getting another turn …

Do you want to skip the diamond bracers or let the cloud fade? I'll sustain the cloud - Barbatos isn't even blooded yet and the extra 10 damage at the start of the dragons next turn might make the difference.

I just remembered that Stravanya took five points of damage from ending their turn within the dragons lightning aura.
Tag Zem, then Bennegar will go. I don't think the Dragon will survive to get another turn, the question is who will get the kill

OOC: I forgot I have an action point. I'll tag a Second Wind onto my turn if it's not too late.

OOC: K10, L10, and L11 are all filled with stone and you must end your movement in an unoccupied space. L12 is a niche you could reach, but it's filled with stinking cloud. You might want to pick a different spot to shift to.
OOC: No, it's not to late for second wind. I'll update to spend action point on second wind.

Occ a better use of your action point woukd be an attack. I got your healing covered and you have best chance to hit and most likly kill him. Save your second wind Zem has your back.

Stravanya strikes at the prone Dragon, hitting it in the neck hard. There is a snapping sound, the Dragon stops moving, and the aura of lightning fades away. Mornontormarux is dead, killed before he could flee.
The excitement over, the wizards allow their spells to fade. Zem uses his Healing Words on the most wounded, and Harknail uses his Lay on Hands to heal Bennegar the rest of the way. Then the group can rest for a few minutes to recover before they check out the other tunnel from this room. While they are resting, there is the Dragon's horde glittering in the light (B12 in case nobody spots it on the map).
Combat over, tag all.

( is there any sign of the girl we are looking for by chance? ) No, there are no signs of any goblins here. However, there is another passage that continues still deeper as well as another pit. The lack of bones in this room doesn't mean anything since dragons tend to eat their victims bones and all.

Barbatos takes a moment to recover before the group moves on, looking towards Zem though knowing the healer had more pressing concerns.
(I don't know if there is an advantage to waiting for Zem before using a second wind healing?)

Zem's Healing Word heels a surge + 1D6 + 6 HP versus Second Wind healing just a surge. However, a 5 minute rest allows you to spend any number of healing surges. No bonus to the surges, but no limits either. So it becomes a matter of conserving surges versus conserving time. Zem can do 2 Healing Words every 5 minutes, getting the maximum effect out of each healing search. But it might take several short rests for Zem to heal everyone. The alternate is for Zem to cast just 2 Healing Words where they think will do the most good, and everyone else just spend however many surges they want to in a single short rest. The last is what I was assuming the group would do, but there isn't any particular time pressure that would keep you from taking multiple shorts rests at this point.

Also I think i have a feat that helps with healing when we rest. I think its called feild medic.
" Well we survied our frist dragon fight. Nicly done everyone. Harknail you still have your lay on hands i think. I still have my healing words, and an use of a healing iteam. But ya all of us look quite beaten up, so pushing on like this might not be best. We should look at the hord. As i said when we began i would pay you for services. Consider this as me living up to that promiss so lets spilt it evenly. And magic gear shoukd go to how could use it best. I hope thats agreeable to all of you. O and benny you ok? i saw you go down in the fight.

After Zem had already used a Healing Word on Bennegar (using his last healing surge to good effect). Harknail was justing using Lay on Hands. Bennegar answered, "Not bad considering. Not bad at all." Seeing a glint from the dragon's horde, Bennegar said, "Living Crystal?!?" He moved closer to take a better look. Staring at a pile glowing blue crystal he added, "Just what I need to fix Sally."
Bennegar claims Living Crystal from the dragon horde. Bennegar leaves the group to heal his friend (which will take quite a while).
