I deeply appreciate your generous offer. However, I believe Erathis would be more pleased to have you keep them all to defend your town. It is good to know your town is safer now from the next threat. It is impressive that you were able to perform such exquisite work despite being so hungry. I'm sure your town will be very happy to have you back.

The book will be needed to complete the remaining 6 Iron Cobra's. But Flerx has no objection to Barbatos copying the book. Nor does she have any objection to bringing the book back to town with them. She does comment that the book seems to be especially durable. Even though it seems to be made of paper and very old, the paper isn't fragile and the book can be handled normally.
Flerx explains that she's just the latest in a long line of goblins that were captured and force to work on Iron Cobras. She's been here only a couple of days, the other surviving goblin has been here almost a month. They had water, but no food. When a goblin can't work any more he's eaten and then replaced. There was another goblin captured at the same time she was, but he tried to escape. She heard the screams, he did not make it past the dragon.

Flerx works quickly and finishes the assembly of the Iron Cobra well within the promised hour. Then she cast the ritual, making herself the cobra's master.
Then and only then was she willing to accept some of the offered food. The goblins recovered their gear, which in the case of Flerx consisted of a backpack, a short bow, and a quiver of arrows. Then Flerxhad the other goblin climb aboard the Iron Cobra, then she climbed aboard herself.
At this point everyone was ready to move, with the weekend goblins riding the new construct.
Anyone have any last minute things they want to do and the dragon's lair?

If there are any key, difficult to replace components for the cobras Barbatos will offer to carry them back on his Floating Disc, and will use his magic stone to fish them out of the pit-trap that had claimed a few of the other cobras. He will also scoop up any remaining reagents not used in construction of the last cobra and inquire if the goblins knew where the dragon was sourcing them.
But otherwise he is prepared to leave.

The shelves in this room hold parts and ritual components enough to make a half dozen more Iron Cobra's. Flerx plans to return and finish these cobra's, so she'll need the remaining ritual components as well. After that she'll consider repairing the ones destroyed by the group. And she'll need to decide what to do about the two guarding the arial entrance to the lair.
In any case, no need to haul stuff to town (though she appreciates the offer), she'll be working on the Iron Cobra's here.

After everyone is set to leave:
" wow your work is amazing you have a great talent. Tho im sure you dad is very worried. Yet lets not go out the frount i rather not have to fight anymore guardians today.
Lets go back and out the way we came in
Tho Barbados we will need you disk to send us back across, cause that river over there looks quite cold if i recall right.
Once party gets back to the river
Assuming Barbados is able to flouting disk us all across in shifts like he did before, the party then heads out of the side entrence back to town.

(the disk lasts for a day, so all clear - though Barbatos notes the bridge will need to be rebuilt to get back here to build more cobras)

By far the quickest way to rebuild the bridge would be to retrieve the lumber from the bottom of the pit, then apply the Make Whole ritual a couple of times.

Leaving the bridge repair for a later time, the group continues on their way, leaving the lair the same way they entered, bypassing any sentries that might still be on duty. Since they had killed the cave bears, the group did not have to worry about them while leaving.
With the goblins being carried by the Iron Cobra, the group had no problem crossing the savanna. This time nothing tried to kill them, but when they passed near a group of antelope had a watering hole, Flerx brings down one of them with a single
from Iron Cobra back. She explains, "Meet for my fathers stew pot." She accepts the help of Harknail and loading the carcass on the Iron Cobra.
When the curios reach Sarnath, they are greeted with a heroes welcome! Delighted that the group had brought back his daughter alive, their innkeeper promises that they will not need to pay room nor board as long as they want to stay in Sarnath.
Still, the group is down a member. Bennegar stayed in the dragon's lair to try repairing his companion. The group may want to try recruiting additional members here in town. Although Sarnath was even smaller than Moonhaven, it seemed to be quite cosmopolitan with travelers from all over.
OOC: I am trying to recruit new players...

At somepoint Zem pulls Flerx away from the party and the main events taking place. When they are alone
" Um its not easy for me to ask this um.. o shoot I would have given you flowers right now but i did not know what ones you liked. Sorry im rambling a bit arn't i. I was hoping i could take you on a date? "
He looks rather neverious, its been a while since he asked someone out.

Flerx looks surprised at Zem's announcement, her jaw dropping. "You want to date a goblin? You want to date me?" She then steps forward and hugs Zem around the waist. A muffled "Yes!", can be heard from the vicinity of Zem's belly.

He holds her close, and wont let go until she wants him too. Trying to hid his blushing. " I am so happy right now, you make me very happy and i promise to do everything i can to make you happy. Did you want to go find some flowers or do you want to go shopping? I dont know the city that well so im happy to take you anywhere you would like to go. O and if you think its cute i can carry you up and down the stairs, but only if you want me too."

Ooc : Dont sell your healing potions we will still need them if one of us goes down and i run out of heals or if i go down and harknail is out of his. Honestly its better to have them and not need them then to not have them at all. To other bit: Thanks, Zem had zero clue in what would be her reaction, and i feel like that was absolutely awsome rping from our dm Hats off by the way dm, well played. O and at : Zem tried so dam hard to not tell you to just let them study alone together but like zem know you would take interest in learning it too, So that meant darn no alone time...  Tho its great zem did the hole thing not showing what he was up too. i totaly thought the whole giving her a cloak thing was a dead give away. I so badly wanted to tell you guys but felt like no matter what her reaction was the party had to find out after he asked her but not before. |

Aslong as she does not object and is ok with Zem carring her down the stairs. He knows she could do it her self but he wants to be sweet/cute/romantic. They head down back into the main room. He gives a look to the bar tender( her dad) that reflects that he wishes to date his daughter.
