Aegis frowned, "I'm not sure if we have the power with just the group of us to take down a house full of people. I think we could, but we have to move fast and hard or sneakily and slowly. I don't think a compromise on that would work.

Mika comments, "As long as we can take on one small group at a time, we should be able to do this. It's like I read in a book on strategy, divide and conquer. And if we can get to the leader, perhaps the rest would disperse."
Turning back to the bandit, she asks, "Who is the leader, and what do they look like?"
The bandit answers, "There are two of them, Samminel leads the men and Erzoun leads the women, both are tieflings, the only tieflings in the gang."
[tag all, and does anyone else have questions for the bandit?"]

"....Of course the leaders of the bandits are Tieflings," Aegis said with a frown. "Mika, you are right...we have to deal with them. Their leaders."
"Erzoun is the one you are afraid of, isn't she?" Aegis said, kneeling a little, "tell us as much as you are willing to tell us about her, please."

OOC: Sarry for the slow response. Got crazy busy, and answering this took some research (I had to villains and select a 5e translation of them)
The bandit looks at Mika before answering.
OOC The bandit has already been persuaded to talk, no roll needed.
"Samminel and Erzouth aren't from around here. I don't know where they are from, but it's not Nentir Vale. When they arrived, we were just scattered gangs of bandits. But they made an art of savagely murdering their opponents in elaborate, choreographed displayed of bloodshed. Word of their deed traveled as fast as the breath that spoke them. Within weeks of their arrival, those of us still alive knelt before them begging for leadership and instruction."
"As for Erzouth, she's skilled with both blade and bow. And she can use magic as well. I've seen her freeze a person in place, still awake, but unable to move or even scream as she flayed the skin from his body.."
[tag, any more questions from anyone?]

( i feel the sooner we can move on from this sean the better. )
Dack finishes his book and sees they are still asking questions. He then gets out a second bigger book, and continues to read to pass what was seaming like forever now.
More to himself under his breath " looks like they want a second round of game of asking 20 questions. What is that now 40? Had they just let me use our mind spells we could have gotten this done a while ago. No matter i guess they find it interesting and fun cause they wish to keep at it as they are. Ah chapter 13, The Unlucky Chapter.. . "

Dak for the first time realized his expression in his mood was showing to the others.
" O its just that they sat over there for a while now, and as a bard i have magic and great people skills that could have helped but they never asked for my help. When you and i could have just used mind magic and powers to get all the info in half the time. Yet from my understanding of what i was told you and i can't use them, ever in this party. I still don't get why when thats what bards and form what you told me you do best.
There is also how i was told by my foster parents to treat all women with respect, yet those ladies are shackeld getting screamed at and hit in the face. I get they are our prisoners, but we can at least be nice about it? Or is this part not writen in books to not scare the readers? In any case it may not be noticeable or maybe it is but this adventuring thing is all new to me. i dont want to do anything to upset them or argue i just want to be helpful. Tho beth does not seam like the same person i once knew, so thats a bit sad too. Maybe she will never have me out of i think the book calls it the friend zone? When all i wanted was for her to see that i grew up to be an awsome guy that she could be with.
Thank you for noticing and asking, your very kind person by the way.
I really was trying to hide it so that not to make others uncomfortable or sad especially from beth.
As a bard we spread joy and because i never want others to see me not having fun.
So i tried to hid mine in these books."

"Don't worry, no-body decided we couldn't use our talents. Kamon-do said they made her uncomfortable because others might have them too but she didn't propose we should not use them. If we were not allowed to then Beth would have told us. If she did I would just leave and find other people to take down the bandits with. I'm merely avoiding using my powers here unless I need to so I can use them in battle later.
Yes, real adventures are more violent than the books make them out to be. It's alright that it's taking you a while to get used to. It took me by surprise as well when I first started."

OOC: Last chance for questions.

Gone
Now that the questioning is over, Mika upholds her end of the bargain. She unties the bandit, letting her get to her feat and stretch to get the kinks out of her limbs. When she's ready, Mika returns her weapons. Then with the rest of the group making a circle around them, the trial by combat begins. As it does so, Mika reminds the group, "Remember, if she does manage to beat me in combat, she goes free." No one really expects that to happen, although both are wounded from the earlier fight, Mika is in much better shape.
The agile bandit makes the first attack, stabbing with her short sword, then stabbing again before Mika could counterattack. Attack #1: 6|Irset6p_1-20+4 = 21 (hit) Attack #2: p_1-20+4 =18 (miss) Damage #1: p_1-6+2 = 7 The bandit managed a good blow with her first stab, it didn't penetrate the armor, but was going to leave a bruise. But Mika was able to get her shield in place to stop the second attack.
Then it was Mika's turn. Mika's longsword lashed out... Attack: p_1-20+4 = crit Damage: p_1-8p_1-8+2 =7 And stabbed the bandit through the heart, granting her the promised quick death. Mika looked down in thought at her handiwork. Finally she said, "In the end she was a worthy and honorable foe."
Sheathing her sword, Mika asked the group, "So do we go kill the ones guarding the trail to their camp next? Or do we try to take them alive? What do we do with the other prisoner?"

However, they are not giving us the same favor. I would recommend killing them only if its clear we won't be able to get to them until combat's over. Aegis looked to the other prisoner, Do you think we can keep them from escaping?

Probably will have to kill most of them sadly. We cant just can't capture them with no real ability to guard them until we got back to town and they would be killed at town anyways. Seems like a drain on are resources too. (looks to the group leader) I guess it's your call.

Mika adds, "Well, we don't know how the others will act, but the one bandit we woke up didn't even bother trying to hide her escape attempts. I think we could keep him from escaping, but we would have to watch them continuously and discourage them from attempting escape. And even then, they might just get more discreet about it. Especially when there's more than one, and they can attempt to untie each other. Although I don't know if they trust each other enough to do that." Mika also looks towards Beth for a decision.
