Reinforcements

( Are we going to continue to make a battle plan/plan so far beth has not said one way or the other. I understand its an important call but i feel it needs to get made sooner rather the later. )

Mika agrees, "Killing these bandits would definitely be much simpler. The next question is how do we approach them? My inclination would be to charge into their ambush. But I can see where the rest of you might not like to plan. Now that we know where they are, we could just swing wide around them and bypass them, but I am disinclined to leave any of these despicable bandits free behind us. Yet another option is to swing wide around them, then double back to their position from a direction they consider safe."

"I think Mika's plan is apt. The latter, to surprise them. The question of whether or not they patrol those areas is likely to be answered with a no, but I worry that given their numbers, there is no way of knowing...should we perhaps figure out a way to draw them out and ambush them? That might help us avoid going too close to their manse," Aegis said with a shrug.

Mika commented, "I don't think we need to worry about them getting reinforcements, the far side of that hill is at least half a day s travel away."

"It is true they don't likely have more men lurking about than the ones we killed," Aegis said, scratching his chin," The far side of the hill might be our best shot, then."

"That's where most of them will be," agreed Mika. "Bbut I think we should deal with the ones hiding in the forest and guarding their trail before dealing with the main group."

"Hmm...you are right. Well, I suppose we should wait to hear from the others. What do they think?" Aegis asked, turning to see what the others felt.

I agree we should start with the bandits guarding the path. The more we can take out in small groups one by one the better.

( Dak is here for roll call, but is there any possibility we can stick to and agree to a plan. Then actually go do it ?rather then for several ooc months/ not sure how much time has past I.C debating each like we have?

We know the pros and cons of all of them. Its really time we chose an option and go with it

Dak feels sicking around here really does not get anything done long tearm nor does it stop the bad guys. We actually have to go and stop them to stop them. In other words its time well over due to mount up go stop them however that might be.

Dak is up for any plan as long as he can use the full extent of his abilities mind magic included.)

OOC: So far i've heard from Aegis, Mika, Daklin, Bishop, and Basnae. Anyone else still ready to play?

The group easily reaches consensus that they do want to deal with the forward guards before moving on to the main base. But most don't offer an opinion as to how. Mika is in favor of a frontal attack, while Aegis would prefer to sneak around and ambush the ambushers. Mika agrees to go with this plan, from the look she's giving Aegis, her easy concession to give up the frontal attack may be due primarily to who's making the suggestion.

Beth suggests splitting up and attacking them from both flanks at the same time. Beth, Kamon-do, Otho Grub, and Kelyanna Oakenheel will take one side while Bishop, Aegis, Mika, Dak, and Basnae take the other side.

OOC: Not so much splitting the party as splitting the fight so that the currently inactive characters don't need to be dealt with. Anyone who starts posting again will just follow their opponents onto the active map.

I've decide to stop playing. Upper division physics is harder than I'd hoped so I am cutting back on my hobbies.

I think unfortunately i need to bow out too, wishing all of you a lot of luck. Hopefully it works out ok.

The phyion and the bard will if she is ok with this head off for thier own adventures. Possibly some day finding his lost parents.
