So he is up in the driver seat so he is more batting and swinging at wind from the driver chair that is open and has no cover hang.
So you have clear line of sight on the driver because of where you are u can aim up .
Also they got rid of the -4 to range attack when 2 are in melee with eachother.
Twin blasts fly over winds head pelting the driver square in the chest leaving a good size hole in its chest.
The Sault creature then brakes apart unable to hold together. It disperse into sand,dust and sault once more unable to be a threat.

Omar will swing his flail at the Sault creature.

He brings it around and with great force and speed as he does it glows with holy energy.

p_1-8 p_1-8=11 radiant damage = 22
33 damage.
The holy damage seamed to be extra potent for the inpact exploed the sault creatures head into ashes.

The slaves are working on excaping thier bonds some brake free and are helping the others.

Wind looks around and sees most things under control. He will attempt to aid the slaves in breaking their chains and tend to anyone particularly wounded or in rough shape.

Wind for the first time sees that there are a mix of male and female gnomes,dwarfs and halflings.
Most looked just wipped and malnurished but some still have some fight in them.

NoyQBaLXp_1-20+1 vs dc 14 will save for Sault Gaurd in the area spell that Omar is still holding up.

Half on a pass save.
The Gaurd Tries to teleport away but its too late. For the sprits close in on it. with With holy light they pin the Gaurd down. Then they place thier spectrial holy hands on it. Energy starts to emulate showing devine cracks of light inside it. As it is screaming in pain.
Then the Sault Creature explodes in rays of Holy light.
( so much for it's excape plan... lol. ).
The other one on Varis :

Varis is hit with black swirling sands. He is strating to choke on the sand feeling his life force being sucked out of him.
Varis : Dc 14. Con save. Please.
( So its a modified version of a combo of a Harm and a bestow curse spell. )
On a pass you will take 1/4 damage of 7d6 necromatic engergy damage half on a fail.
Also on a fail this reduces your max hp by damage taken but it cant outright kill you. so it cant put you to 0 hp and will leave u at one hp.
It also gives varis disadvantage on Str checks as long as the effect takes hold.
On a pass both affects does not take hold and just does the 1/4 damage.

Varis remains calm as the sand swirls around him, choking him with some strange energy. He could feel it trying to suck away his life force, but would not give in. As the effect fades, Varis smiles further at the guard before him.

Now free of immediate threats Callo sends her spiritual weapon to aid Varis while moving to join Omar to get a better view of the situation. With the salt creatures ability to teleport short distances it didn't seem wise to stand alone.

(I should take half damage not 1/4, I'm only resistant to physical damage while raging (bludgeon, slash, and piercing) not magical or any kind of special damage)
(I shall respond with two reckless attacks on the guard)

All the attacks at the remaining gaurds ranging from a sprit weapon to callos blasts to varis cutting it to ribbins. Each collide as a solid unit of fearsome attacks. At the end of witch ending thier last foe. None were left none excaped . The head(s) varis took turn back to ashes.
By this point wind had helped the remaing slaves get free.

Varis brushes off the blood from his blade, before sheathing it once more. The guards they had cut down dissolved quickly into the sand. He begins walking over to the wagon where it appears Wind has freed those tied to its front. Looking around, Varis scans the horizon for any other signs of life.

Wind will focus on three things.

investigating the wagon for supplies, especially bottles. p_1-20 investigation
And seeing what is left of the creatures, gleaning information.

Looking at varis as he jogs up to the party: " Varis sorry for not heading to you sooner but you looked to be ok doing your thing in drawing them too you until that well um that last attack on you. I dont think any of us was expecting them to have magic odd rest of them could not use it."

Varis nods towards Callo to indicate he was fine before glancing at the others. Wind was seeing to the freed slaves, and both Callo and Omar appeared to have no major injuries. As Omar apologized to him, Varis stuck his hand up waving it away.
“No need for that my friend, I am fine. You made the right choice. It’ll take far more than those pathetic little creatures to stop me. A few scratches but nothing more, suppose I can thank my father for the thick skin. So what next? I highly doubt we’ll want to remain here for long.”
Varis begins to walk with the others to join Wind. They had managed to free a few slaves but that would no doubt draw attention when the wagon did not arrive on time.
(Did my perception check notice anything earlier? Just want to make sure nothing noticed our battle and is coming for us)

Nothing seamed to be headed your way as of now it was still a half mile to a mile til the mts. So if for what ever reason if things did hear the battle it would take a hr or more( depending on passe given the sand). Now if it flew it would get to them much faster.
