I'll run a game if anyone wants. You can tell me what characters you want to play and what type of campaign you'd be interested in and we can make it happen.
Hell, if someone just wants to solo it or just have two players, we could definately swing it. Whatever's good.
So that's my offer, if anyone has any interest in doing anything like that feel free to let me know. Though I'd be inclined to stick to the general fantasy setting of D&D.

AWSOME! me and Roguewolf were just talkin about an assassin campaign! we thought it would be fun to basically play assassins for hire, i'd be the Face, the one people see and contact for the contract, and he would be... well the work we could do more than two people but the way we thought it out it would just be us two, and starting would be difficult, i mean comeon without a guild how in the hell DO you become a killer for hire? Edit: Or, if you wanted a few more options, i was thinkin about a Pirates campaign, my idea was low to no magic, but the options would be open to the dm, Dont know what Effan thought about that, but i would REALLY be interested in it. Reading the Hammer Of Purifacation game really helped my interest get sparked.

@ Rojito : It doesn't need to be only 2 people, there could be like an alchemist doing poison or the such, i was thinking of a fighter to help me, with the tripping (prone = coup de grace ) but those are quite boring, we'll need to find a more elaborate job. but yea, Fact! (at least for me) : playing a rogue in a campaign completely made out of rogues takes out all the fun Time to test the dice system ;D (haven't tried it out yet) [dice=100] Edit : dammit its impossible to hack [rand=861875448902316340195444553131815336262801839627930839772285563]

Well seriously, if you guys come up with it, I will run it.
rogue assassin pirates, I'm sure you can find a way to do something with that.
Vemu designed a city for the Guild game that we were trying to work on. It's a port city with room for intrigue and assassinations if you want to use that as a starting point with lots of room to expand horizons. Or if you have any other city ideas which would coincide with the thoughts that you're tossing out, I'd hear it.
And even if you do have only two or three players, the gods did make sure to create convenient and/or expendible NPCs. (like the poor evokers that I keep getting killed)
Japic's doing an all thief game, unfortunately it's moving kind of slow at the moment, so I really can't say for sure if too many rogues spoil the soup. But there are afterall several ways to craft a rogue, and not all of them require the use of the rogue class.
All I would ask is that you make your characters surviveable, especially if you're gonna go into it with intentions of getting into sticky situations.
We could do low/rare magic, low combat, high social, high seas, I don't really care. I can get my hands on lots of books.

Haven't done an evil game in a while. I could get in on something like that.

I'd love to claim it, but it really wasn't my design. Many of us did a lot: Shakes, Lin, Mellon, Japic, Redcow... hopefully that covers all of them. It's been a while. I'm currently still at my max amounts of games, so I have no intention to join here. Good to see someone jumping in when new people request games though.

Ok so are we doin Thief-orientated? Assassin-based? i dont think Roguewolf is interested in pirates unfortunately so yeah. If its the assassin game i would say start at level 1, regular magic/fighting n stuff (albeit my character cannot fight whatsoever already have him designed ) and i would say about even social... well also remember that for Wolf and myself we are (would be?) a team for assassinating people, we dont get into many brawls, so basically in a fight that we didn't set up ourselves we would be more likely to flee than to try to win.

How about we start in the middle of a populated city and begin with the goal of founding a theives' guild?

That aint too bad of an idea... But since i would have no idea on how to accomplish such a feat why dont someone else take another smart character to aid in that, i'll be playing a "Know absolutely everything" bard, but IRL i dont have the slightest So we have 5 characters? Roguewolf: Rogue Theudjat: TopTomCat: Deekin: Rojito: Bard

hehe ''know absolutely everything'' bard? why don't you just make an int/knowledge mage prestige into loremaster It would be really fun to have an Evil Paladin->Blackguard Or having a Ninja->ShadowDancer Just giving some character idea >:3 though i really like the thieves guild idea And! if calling me RogueWolf is too long, just call me Wolfy i'm fine with that ( better that than RW )

I like these ideas (particularly founding a thieves'/assassins' guild), but I'm not keen on the 'starting at level 1', unless we're planning to advance very fast. Online games are extremely slow, and I'm kinda 'eh' about being low level for quite that long. But neither do I want a high-level, so we have places to go. 4-6, maybe? That might give us room to get into a prestige class, or at least be prepared for one. But not so powerful that we overshadow the city's authority figures.

yeah i am kewl with whatever level, i just kinda thought it would be unique to see how people advance level by level over advancing to level 6 all at once
