Howahkan speaks out "Try to capture that goblin. We'll make it talk." If anyone actually knows his language. A couple of characters do, including the Doran, the closest. Which is why I included what they said.

Does moving up the stairs cost double movement? And what kind of cover do the sharpshooters have?

Does moving up the stairs cost double movement? And what kind of cover do the sharpshooters have? Yes, moving up the stairs costs double movement.
You need a reach weapon (such as Gabe's Glaive) to attack someone on a 10' ledge from either an adjacent square or 1 square away, but the target will have cover. The same would not be true if attacking down. A Ranged attack up to a 10 foot ledge has cover if closer than 2 squares away. This is off the cuff and subject to change (with notice), I don't know of any official rulings on attacking ledges.

O.K. Good, wanted to make sure before I declared my actions (to avoid retconning them).Laira(unwen) Elereth moves up the stairs to square O15. She then puts a warlock's curse on the goblin warrior at M11 and blasts him with witchfire. Attack [dice=20] +4 vs reflex=23 Damage: [dice=6] + [dice=6] +4+ [dice=6] =15 Laira hits a reflex AC of 23 for 15 points of fire damage (and the goblin has a -5 penalty to attack rolls)[rand=9447855128643912760677961241903786577476477228149745374738193825]

Doran moved to M6, not M7, last turn (I wanted cover from the archer and stalker). So long as that doesn't change where green 3 is standing, Doran will move to N12 o12, and attack Blue 2 (if the stairs are difficult terrain, Doran will use Deft Strike to complete the move, if not, he will use Riposte strike to set up a counter attack) Miscounted the squares: attacking with deft strike, throwing the dagger. And shout in Goblin "Surrender or die!" (Doran isn't very charismatic or intimidating, so he'll have to depend on the evidence of his handiwork to do the convincing for him). Doran's Combat Status:
Doran's Health: HP 23/30 - Surges 5/7- Second Wind 1/1 - Action Points 1/1 Encounter Powers: Torturous Strike 1/1 Daily Powers: Easy Target 0/1 Basic melee: dagger +1, +7/1d4+4 Sneak attack: 2d6+2

Thursagan cannot reach blue 2, so he will change weapons to the throwing hammer (2 minor actions), and will throw it to red 4 on the legde: The goblin is marked, so another -2 to attack anyone but him. "Get down here, scum, so I can crush your skull as I did with your friends"Status: Thursagan's Combat Status Health: HP 31(+3)/31 - Surges 7/12 - Action Points 1/1 Encounter Powers: Passing attack 1/1 - Second wind 1/1 Daily Powers: Villian's menace 1/1
Thursagan's "group bonuses" When Thursagan marks and engages a target, that target will normally stay in place and focus on him

Gabe takes a few steps away from the ledge. Upon seeing the slightly shaken Harknail he calls out "Harknail" and rises his glaive in salute before turning back and charging towards the archer on the ledge. Move to S11 Inspiring word of Harnail. Target can spend a healing surge and gain an additional +1d6 healing. Charge to U10 (or V10 if not in range) & Melee Basic Attack on Red 4 (Glaive) If hit: 2d4+3 [dice=4] | [dice=4] | +3= | 7 damage |
(have not included cover in total.. eh like it matters... sad roll) Gabe's Combat Status Gabe's Health: HP 22/22 - Surges 6/7 - Action Points 1/1 Encounter Powers: Infernal Wrath 1/1, Inspiring Word 2/2, Warlord's Favor 0/1 Daily Powers: Lead the Attack 1/1[/i] [/spoiler] OOC: I'm travelling for next week and a half and though I will try to keep posting if I fall behind please post for me rather than wait for me.[rand=03278700057563499525888443276034734078296261958384138494802831888814]

Howy moves to Q10 beside Harknail and gives him a Healing Word then Causes Fear in Red 3 to make him move to the end of the ledge and jump down. Harknail's Healing Word: [dice=6]+4=7+Surge What happens to temporary hit points when someone gets healed? Do they remain?
Cause Fear on Red 3: [dice=20]+4=18 vs Will He moves his speed +3, the goal is to make him move to the far end of the ledge and jump down. [rand=369419615203766545269989653419592761912271454863675411063953381]

I think Laira and Doran might have just killed the same goblin.

I think Laira and Doran might have just killed the same goblin. Not likely -- it was uninjured before, and it probably has more than 24 HP, so we probably didn't even kill it yet. Also, remember to use LIMEgreen, at the bottom of the Colors--the normal green is kind of unreadable.

Green 3 answers with <I surender!> in goblin. She has given up all hope.

The goblin is engulfed in brilliant white flame, rivulets of continue to stream upward from it's eyes, mouth, and hands as it screams in agony. Blue 2 is bloodied

Doran moved to M6, not M7, last turn (I wanted cover from the archer and stalker). So long as that doesn't change where green 3 is standing, I stand corrected. No, that didn't change where green 3 went, she wasn't trying to engage Doran. Doran will move to o12, and attack Blue 2 Miscounted the squares: attacking with deft strike, throwing the dagger. And shout in Goblin "Surrender or die!" (Doran isn't very charismatic or intimidating, so he'll have to depend on the evidence of his handiwork to do the convincing for him). Doran sends his dagger into the screaming goblin, which continues to scream as his dagger returned. As already mentioned, Green 3 surrendered.Edit: Doran only makes it to P11 by my count, which still gave him a clear shot with the dagger. Also you might want to pass on that one of the goblins has surrendered before one of your teammates that don't speak goblin kills it.

Red 4 is now bloodied

Howy moves to Q10 beside Harknail and gives him a Healing Word then Causes Fear in Red 3 to make him move to the end of the ledge and jump down. And that is exactly what the goblin did, failing it's saving throw it plunged from the ledge and injured itself hitting the ground (at A10). It then hobbles behind the statue (at A11) to get still further from the scary cleric. What happens to temporary hit points when someone gets healed? Do they remain? Temporary hit points remain until used or until a short rest (end of encounter).

How's Howy's fear spell go? Was red 3 afraid? Didn't quite get to Howy before it was time to leave. His fear spell worked very well :-)
