Laira inflicts a warlock's curse on goblin 7, then hits him with an eldritch blast. [dice=20] +4=9 vs reflex for [dice=10] +4+ [dice=6] =19 damage Laira will then moves to M9 (by way of L10 and L9 to avoid attacks of opportunity) if goblin 7 doesn't die, to set up a flank attack for Doran. Gabe follows Doran then circles their opponent wide and then standing behind Laira, who had the same idea, makes a number of quick stabs with his glaive to the creatures midriff. “Work together and take them down one by one”, he calls without taking his eyes of the were creature in front of him. Move: Gabe moves from Q12 to M9 L9 (via P12, O12, N12, M11 & L10 to avoid OA) Viper's Strike with Glaive at Red 7 ( flanked with Doran) If hit: 2d4+3 [dice=4] | [dice=4] | +3= | 7 damage |
[/td][/tr][/table] Gabe's Combat Status Gabe's Health: HP 20/22 - Surges 4/7 - Action Points 1/1 Encounter Powers: Infernal Wrath 1/1, Inspiring Word 0/2, Warlord's Favor 0/1, Second Wind 1/1 Daily Powers: Lead the Attack 1/1
Gabe's Group Bonuses: Any ally within 10 squares that can see and hear me gains +2 to initiative. Any ally who can see me spending an action point to attack gains +2 to hit & +4 to damage[/spoiler] Laira got her action in first to get to M9 so had to modify Gabe's final place. Removed flanking bonus, though with a 2 rolled didn't make any difference.
Edit: Her! Sorry Laira...[rand=0424945307376239919466194130998726415172829598211910831460789779845]

So Laira is female, I thought I seen an earlier correction that made you male. I'm confused. Well, nevermind. That's a normal condition for me. Anyway thanks for the armor Harknail. I will get my turn out later this afternoon. I just got off midnight shift and I'm too tired to do any serious posting right now.

He'll level up at the same time as everyone else, which is after you get back to town. Easier for everyone that way. He might even start out with a magic item that he can use to free himself (if I can't figure out any other way for that to happen). Zynthis the Cleric is now posted in the characters sectionkmansadventures.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=characters&action=display&thread=7492Question: Does the extra damage from the longtooth shifting ability end when no longer bloodied? It says it lasts until the end of the encounter. Question: what is "Weapon Expertise" in 4.0, and how can I get it? I would much rather have a bonus to hit with a rogue than a bonus to damage, which is all the PHB allows.

Weapon Expertise is a Heroic Feat outlined in the Players Handbook 2 p190 Benefit: Choose a weapon group. You gain a +1 bonus to attack rolls with any weapon power you use with a weapon from that group. The bonus increases to +2 at 15th level and +3 at 25th level. Special: You can take this feat more than once. Each time you select this feat, choose another weapon group.

Doran-"#$%^, you pig-eyed rat-face. {More insults in Goblin}" What does this fever do, and how in general do the mechanics for it work? Oh, and do I save for the ongoing damage now?save for ongoing damage: [dice=20]do I win? It appears to be too late now, but Doran will try to keep the thing from attacking him again with Riposte strike: [dice=4] | [dice=6] | [dice=6] | +6 | +2 | = 18 damage |
That probably tags him, so, if he attacks Doran again, Doran preempts him with a basic melee attack (don't look unless he attacks Doran): Doran's Combat Status:[rand=56635128188106749871638361909291670208774882940233360531650978686]

Thursagan will delay until he sees what happens with Red 7. If we kill it before, he will charge one of the other goblins; if not, he will help with this one. By the way, what type of cover do the javelin goblins have? Also, can we see any way of opening the porticulis?

"You thought you could imprison Zynthis, you thought wrong!" Zynthis yells out in a growling type voice. "I will mince you up in tiny pieces!" he says to guard Red 3. Zynthis attacks Red 3 with Priest's Shield and if still alive, will follow up with a Healing Strike using Divine Fortune and an action point. Priest's Sheild Red 3: [dice=20]+8=13 vs AC Damage: [dice=10]+5=6 Effect if Hit: +1 AC on Zyn EoNT Free Action: Divine Fortune Action Point Used (Gabe's Bonus included): Healing Strike Red 3: [dice=20]+8+1+2=14 vs AC Damage: [dice=10][dice=10]+5+4=28 Effect if Hit: Zyn surges for 5 healing. Man I wish that would have hit. If both attacks miss, I might as well use a minor to Healing Word myself. It's hard to tell from the Laira avatar, so here's a full sized picture of Laira:

Long term effects are that once a day infected characters will need to make a Endurance check. High the character gets better, low it gets worse, otherwise it stays at the same level. The target roll is modified by circumstances. I'll need to dig those up later, the ones in the MM are too high.Doran bloodies the creature with his deft dagger.

Isn't the new guy not equipped with any weapons at the moment? Zynthis escaped from his cage and picked up his weapon last turn (as part of setting the stage).
