color=LimeGreen]Are we heading in to more forest, or are we entering the plains? [/color][/quote] Sanem can't see the ground on the other side, but he also can't see trees sticking up out of the fog either (as he can on the side they just left). You are going down into flatland, the start of the plains.

Using his knowledge of rock formations Bharash directs the others as to where the easier channels might be. Use Nature again as finding paths in the wild is one of the things it says you can do.

Zynthis will fix the torn bandages so Howy doesn't bleed to death. Heal Check: [dice=20] +8=16 [rand=36165220895000355083259930066052353937035424818254189188029456332]

Zynthis will fix the torn bandages so Howy doesn't bleed to death. Howy is still at full hit points. Harknail simply used his skill with bandaging to attach padding to Howy so that he could be slid down the ridge without injury. He stopped when the padding got shredded from the wear so that he didn't also shred Howy's flesh.

Thursagan will use Athletics to keep him as steady as possible while climbing down. Solid as a dwarf in a mountain [rand=894575487822294250122920051217086935613136738539658488810993731]

The group successfully gets Howy over the ridge. In the process Harknail had destroyed the goblin blankets that the group had used to make a stretcher. By scrounging in their backpacks, the find enough blankets to remake the stretcher and they continue on toward where they saw the lighthouse.
They find a road (dirt trail actually) going in the right general direction, so they start following that. Visibility remains poor as they make their way to the lighthouse. Bharash and Howy have been her before, so they are the ones who spot the trail to the lighthouse.
[Tag all, you've reached the lighthouse, now what?]

Sanem sends his hawk to circle the top of the lighthouse, while he inspects the area outside of it, and the entryway for any thing unusual. Perception Check: [rand=704117664830379735004222775759997894748865750485145124178454006136]

Thursagan checks for the entries and exit routes of the structure. Does he need a roll?

The front door of the lighthouse has been smashed in. The inside looks like there has been a fight. There is a rope in back, hanging from above (Bharash remembers the rope and knows it goes to the top). In all, it looks just as Bharash last saw it.

Sanem unslings his bow and knocks an arrow, then quietly enters the lighthouse, with his bow trained on the opening in the ceiling. His piercing eyes examine every corner of the room while he approaches the rope as silently as he can, and once there, looks up praying that there are not enemies above looking down at him. Stealth to avoid notice while searching the room: Perception check: [rand=340182558011709605300885679276512452583159340304495389320627859852]

Inside there is a staircase going up. No one is inside.

Sanem will continue to move stealthily up the stairs, and makes a hand motion indicating that the first floor appears to be safe to enter.

On the next floor, those in the lead encounter a man with a bandaged head with a young girl. Bharash recognizes the man as Mr. Wellington, the keeper of the lighthouse and surmises that the young girl was his daughter, who had been held captive by the goblins.
Bharash is surprised that they survived. When he last saw Mr. Wellington he was on the ground floor of the lighthouse with his head and neck had been covered in blood. And zombies had been about to break in when Bharash had left.

Sanem is a bit edgy and suspicious of the pair on the floor. He feels guilty towards it, but something about this scene isn't adding up for him, though he can't quite put his finger on it. He will remain just at the top of the stairs and address the man. "Praise to the lady of the forest, you've survived, my companions have recovered your mirror, but pray tell us, what has happened here? How did you manage to survive what looks to have been a terrible conflict?"

"Praise to the lady of the forest, you've survived, my companions have recovered your mirror, but pray tell us, what has happened here? How did you manage to survive what looks to have been a terrible conflict?""You have the Moonlight Mirror?" asked Mr. Wellington with great animation. "Come. Come, we must get the Moonlight Mirror installed right away! I'll tell you what happened along the way." With that he led the group through the door that Doran had just found and up the stairs to the top of the tower. As he went he explained, "I don't rightly know how I survived actually. The goblins and the Wizard went upstairs and never came down. The others left and closed the door behind them. Something was bashing down the door, but after the door gave way nothing came in. I was afraid to look out, so I snuck upstairs. To my great joy, I found that the goblins had left my daughter behind unharmed. The battle with the zombies was turned around by the timely intervention of Thursagan, although most of the original adventurers still perished in the fight. And if I had read the original story more closely when crafting my extension to it, your encounters would have been somewhat different :-) Sorry for the lack of continuity.

And here I was thinking the girl had turned him into a vampire.
