Zynthis does nothing but listen. He will take a glance out the lighthouse window from the lighthouse tower room though.

Sanem nods quietly while listening to the Keeper's tale, relaxing from his guarded state. Once Mr. Wellington finishes, he will turn to his companions and wait for those with the mirror to decide how to proceed.

Bharash looks around as they approach and enter the lighthouse to see if there were any signs of undead still, hoping to not see the bodies of any of the others who had valiantly tried to defend the tower.
"It's good to see you recovered keeper. How well has the rest of the village faired? I do not see many guards around. Is there still fighting going on?" Bharash asks.

Doran is going to be a bit paranoid, and, while everyone else is doing something useful, he is going to search every nook and cranny in the place that anything larger than a house cat could hide in (It's the kind of thing he did for his old boss to prep for 'guild' meetings -- just with more chance of some undead horror jumping out of a closest).

The area around the lighthouse was covered in bodies, old bodies that had been smashed, hacked, or blasted to pieces. He doesn't see the bodies of those who defended the tower however. My bad for not describing the bodies in the first place. "It's good to see you recovered keeper. How well has the rest of the village faired? I do not see many guards around. Is there still fighting going on?" Bharash asks. "I'm afraid I don't know, I've been afraid to leave this place."

Doran stays behind and searches the living level thoroughly while the girl watches. Eventually Doran finds the lighthouse cat, which hisses at him.

Since no one seems to be objecting, I'll assume that whoever is carrying the mirror hands it over to Mr. Wellington.
Upon receiving the Moonlight Mirror, Mr. Wellington carefully unwraps it, inspects it, and mounts it in it's rightful place. Once again moonlight shines forth from the lighthouse. After he completes this task, he comments "Strange, the nighttime fog should have burnt off hours ago."
But even in the daylight, the light from the magic mirror cuts though the fog. As the beam of light sweeps back and forth across the bay, The Lovely Lass can be seen with all sails furled. Very soon after the mirror was restored the sails were struck and The Lovely Lass begins to move towards the still unseen shore.
Just to be clear, instead of going around in a circle (like a modern lighthouse), the mirror is alternating clockwise and counterclockwise rotation so that the light shines over water, not land.
Harknail comments, "The ship goeth forth. The hole must be patched."

"All is well here. Let's head in to town and take care of our illnesses." Zynthis says.

What hole is he speaking of? The ship that Sanem arrived on ran aground on some rocks, and had a hole staved into the side large enough for Harknail to crawl through. Gabe, Sanem, Doran, and Harknail took the only boat to go look for help. The ship was held in place by the rocks when they left, but since then the tide has come in.

"Good sir, some of my friends are in a terrible state, we must make haste to town. If you are in need of help, shine your lighthouse beacon inland -- we will come as quickly as the wind. Do you have adequate provisions, as we are heading to town I can spare the rations that I carry."With that, if the keeper requests food I will give him my 5 days of rations and head downstairs and outside. Once the group is assembled I will try and find the best path back to town. Nature check to find way back to town: [rand=28729940183797276547915112554325156573673592959629908190581572648]

Doran-"Woah, nice kitty" as he pulls back his hands. The last thing he needs right now is some cat scratch fever to go with his rat bite fever, though he has a goofy thought of the two fighting to the death over the right to infect him. "Maybe you're why those rat-goblins didn't stick around, hun?" Actually, I meant for Doran to search the whole tower as everyone moves through it, but it probably isn't important.

They were after they Moonlight Mirror specifically." The group will have no problem finding their way to town even with the dense fog. There is an easy to follow trail that leads to town.

Sorry for the late posting, I was out for the weekend. During the conversations, Thursagan explains his role on the zombie bashing, but doesn't speak too much on any other matter.

The group headed into town to see how the town fared.
It was bad, with several dead, but it could have been much much worse. Apparently about the time Howy and Bharash and friends attacked the lighthouse, all the zombies marched out of town. As a result the casualties were much lower than they would have been otherwise.
The fog is finally starting to burn off, leaving things looking a bit brighter as the townsfolk start repairs and morn those who fell.
The Lovely Lass comes into view, and someone goes out on a boat to fetch the crew. But they come back without anyone and explain, "Their ship ran up against rocks while the lighthouse mirror was missing. They've made some temporary repairs, but are still taking on water. The captain is asking for a trench to be dug for the keel so that they can run the ship aground on the beach and make repairs when the tide goes out. The crew can't do it, they're all busy bailing water.
[tag all. Anyone have a creative way to dig a trench in sand under water?]

Sanem scratches his head, "Well... the obvious brute force approach would the biggest, heaviest plow in town, an extremely long chain, a raft, and a team of oxen. We might have to dig it out a couple of times, but it would get the job done. I'm not an engineer, do any of you more crafty types have a better solution?"

"It would be easier to either lift the boat up on to the bar or flash freeze the water around the boat using magic. If there are no powerful mages in town then we could raise the boat up on to the bar. We would put some planks down in the water so as to create an underwater ramp. We would have to weight them down with sand bags so they would sink. If we had another big ship we would anchor it on the other side of the sand bar. Then tie long ropes between the two ships and have the good ship winch the leaky ship up on to the plank ramp and on to the bar." Zynthis suggests.

Thursagan had his share of salt water for a whole year, so he is not getting near the shore. "The sand and salt are bad for the junctures of my armor, lads. But keep up, you are doing a good job"
