"Hail Thursagan. I come from a small village on the peak of one the Featherstone Mountains, where the snow never abides."
Turning towards Zynthis, "I have not heard of your tribe, maybe some day we can sit down together over a mug and you can tell me about them."
Nodding his head towards Zachary, "Well, I guess we should follow these other lads into the cave."
Ushering the others forward, "After you."

Zachary arches an eyebrow, and proceeds.

Zynthis asks "Can someone provide a soft light in here? It's too dark even for my eyes."

Zynthis asks "Can someone provide a soft light in here? It's too dark even for my eyes." Due to work, face to face games, and a trip out of town, I won't be able to put up a new map till this weekend. But I think I'll be able to provide descriptions of what you see once someone provides light. Also Sanem has a sunrod that's already been activated and hasn't run out yet. It's covered in leaves to filter the light when it's out, but it's currently in his backpack.

Sanem will wait at the entrance of the cave covering his allies with his bow.

With the light of the ever burning torch lighting the way, they can see that the cave tunnel continues to have a narrow walkway on either side, with a rapidly flowing stream between. Each side is only wide enough for a single file, though the bridge near the tunnel entrance makes it easy to cross over safely. The tunnel continues as far as the touch light will illuminate see.

Raylynn looks back to the rest of the group, "I recommend double file, one group on each side of the river. Just in case." She then turned and started to make her way ahead, leading Laira who was carrying the torch.

As the group moves down the tunnel, they find that the left ledge abruptly ends just as the one on the right opens up into a room. Unfortunately, most of the group is on the left ledge, the one that ends.
Laira has only gotten close enough that her light shows the end of the path when Raylynn calls a halt. She hears something ahead.

How deep is the water/how difficult to cross to the other side?

How deep is the water/how difficult to cross to the other side? The water doesn't look to be that deep, perhaps waist high on most of you (higher on Thursagan). But it is fast moving, making it difficult to cross without getting swept downstream. Jumping over it would work, but it is a 10 foot wide stream! A standing jump would be DC21. A running jump (possible only at the bend) would be DC11. Or you can go back to the bridge (It's only a few moves back) will allow you all to cross safely and advance single file to the opening.

"Lets back track" Raylynn whispers to Laira and starts to shuffle back to the bridge, "Stay over they guys until we get back." she calls to the others on the opposite side.

"Don't be chicken. Jump it!" Zynthis says as he runs and jumps across the river. Athletics to jump with running start[dice=20]+7=19 [rand=552972166090557945144602670516487012179839731859321061410126794235964]

Sanem will back track and take the bridge. He hasn't survived this long by taking risks he can avoid.

Zack will take the bridge after the front-liners cross. He'll keep it illuminated, meantime.

Knowing that he wouldn't dare jump Orsik makes his way back around with the others.

"Don't be chicken. Jump it!" Zynthis says as he runs and jumps across the river. Athletics to jump with running start+7=19 Zynthis easily jumps the stream, catching himself on the far wall. But to find a place where he could get a running start he had to go back halfway to the bridge. Does anyone want to suggest a marching order? Also Harknail's new shield glows at will, so he's also a light source.
