I will be on holidays starting this Friday 11, up to Tuesday 22. I may be slow on connecting to the site, so if Thursagan is the last one to act, please move him along (basic attack on the nearest enemy to at least keep one marked) Thanks Will do. I've been pretty slow myself. I haven't had a chance to respond to player turns for a few days now. Which takes more than just a brief note like this…

Thursagan cannot believe his luck as the couple of kobolds drop to his feet, too groggy to know where the blows are coming. He starts by using a crushing blow on red 2: If it hits, he will recover the temp HP lost to the half poison damage before (he took 4, so 3 temp HP gone and 1 damage, to put him on 20) Anyhow, he will mark the kobold. After that, he gathers all his strength for a mighty blow on the wyrmpriest. He spends an action point and uses his daily power Lasting Thread to try to finish the prone kobold in one blow If the attack hits, the kobold will be marked until the end of the encounter. On a hit, Thursagan will also slide the kobold using the craghammer power to place him in O10, in what he believes is a good position for blasts from his comrades. I have gone all in with him this round, but I believe that it would make sense, after being knocked out in the first round and receiving the help from the elves this round, he is furious and he wants to seize the opportunity.Thursagan hits with both blows, leaving the wyrmpriest (green 4) bloodied. Actually he took 5 (half of 10), I have him at 21+3 now.

Persephone flies up to R7, and Sanem jogs to H5, while Persephone screeches at (making quarry) G4. Sanem then takes aim and does his thing: The positions of R7 and H5 would allow either Red 2 or cyan 8 to be selected as quarry, but not Green 4. I moved Persephone to N8 instead of the niche in the prisoner cavern to make the declared quarry possible. Let me know if you'd rather haver her somewhere else.Sanem's first arrow finishes off the last of the wyrmpriests. His second arrow misses because his target was already collapsing.

Laira Elereth curses kobold cyan 8, shifts to M3 and then strikes him with an eyebite. This provokes an attack of opportunity, however, I believe Harknail will get to attack it first due to the divine challenge issued earlier. If not, Laira will blast and then move. Laira Elereth hits 23 vs will for 14 psychic damage and 1 more damage for inflicting the curse. Laira fades from the view of the Kobold Slink closest to her as she attacks his mind, leaving the kobold bloodied. Not sure if you wanted to provoke an attack or not for 5 automatic damage. I'm just assuming that even if he had the chance, the Kobold declined the opportunity attack that would have cost him 5 damage and had -2 to hit. Sometimes they'll take the hit, sometimes they won't...

Not really important one way or the other. Attacking at point blank range gave Laira Elereth an additional +1 to hit (which it turns out she didn't need) and she is willing to risk an attack of opportunity since the kobold might not take it and will take 5 points of damage if he tries.

Orsik, reeling from the poison, violently coughs shaking his body from head to toe. He raises his fingers as before and lets another wave of cold rays shoot forth towards his enemies. Continuing to cough he tries to right himself hoping his strong dwarven lungs can help him. Saving Throw (vs. Poison Orsik gets +5) Orsik managed to hit the prone kobold at the base the steep slope (Red 2) even though his being prone made him a more difficult target for ranged attacks. The blood froze as it seeped from the kobolds battered body but he wasn't dead yet. The other two targets managed to avoid being frozen. Very good idea to mention bonuses to Saving Throws, otherwise I'm likely to miss them!

Harknail called upon his Warforged resolved to keep going (gain 8 temp HP). Calling upon the divine power of Kord, silvery spikes appeared on Harknail's sword as he slashed at the kobold he didn't have pinned (Cyan 8) with a Piercing Smite. He hit easily, finishing off the creature and holding the attention of it's companion (Cyan 7 is marked, just a basic Mark). Laira gets a free teleport for her cursed foe dying.42

Sart moved up while using her fast hands to switch from hand crossbow to short sword (move to N9). There she demonstrated that she was still more of a rogue than a ranger is she attempted to use the green kobolds prone position to get sneak attack damage on him. But Sart didn't have as much practice with sword work as she did with her bow and the kobold managed to roll to avoid the blow.42

Sorry for taking so long to get back to this game. Right now we're waiting for Zynthis. If I don't see an action for Zynthis by tomorrow, I'll go ahead and have him do something reasonable to keep things moving while I have the chance.42

Zynthis brands the creature in front of him making it easier for Thursagan to hit him. Zynthis also says a healing prayer for Thursagan as well. Zynthis made the kobold very easy to hit, crushing the kobold's skull beneath his morningstar and leaving him dead. The prayer brought Thursagan almost up to full health. Sorry it took so long for me to get back to this game.

The surviving Kobold Wyrmpriest Green 4) got back to his feet. Realizing that he might not survive shifting away from the fighter, he switched to his spear and tried to stab at Thursagan. The kobold found a chink in Thursagan's armor, but hardly pieced the skin (4 damage, 3 absorbed by temp HP). He called out to his allies, "Take this one down, he must be near death." Little did he know how well Thursagan could recover from near death with some help from his friends.... The Kobold Pikeman (blue 6) followed orders to the last, striking at Thursagan with a Warding Strike. But Thursagan easily avoided that blow, knocking the pike aside with his shield. The lone surviving kobold woman (Orange 6) threw her last javelin at Thursagan while hiding behind the pikeman. The poorly aimed javelin flew wide, not even coming close enough to be worth dodging or deflecting. She then started looting one of the nearby bodies for more javelins. The surviving Kobold Slink realized that maybe hiding in a niche wasn't the best of choices. All it can do is try to poke holes in the construct looming above him with his spear. Harknail's armor plated skin wasn't bothered at all by the attempt that hit a steel plate solidly. Wow, three 1's in a roll for to hit rolls. The dice don't like kobolds today.Map (will be updated as the turn progresses): Status H = Harknail: AC 21 - Fort 15 - Ref 15 - Will 15 - Speed 5 HP 14+8/37 - Heal 9 - Surges 12/13 - Second Wind 1/1 - Action Points 1 Encounter: Piercing Smite 1/1 - Channel Divinity 1/1 - Warforged Resolve 0/1 Encounter: Call of Challenge 0/1 Daily: Paladin's Judgement 1/1 - Lay on Hands 2/2

Raylynn stepped up beside Sanem, "Orsik, on me!" she called to the dwarf, as her crossbow self loaded another bolt and she brought her arm up and took aim. Before he had a chance to move she threw a vial of blue liquid at him, it smashed on his chest and the healing fluid slowly patched up his wounds. She then loosed her bolt once he was at her side, her familiar attaching devices to Orsik's staff and Sanem's arrows that would - if they worked properly - increase the force of impact of spell and arrow alike. Move to M6 Minor: Healing Infusion Curative Admixture on Orsik - Surge+1 heal Standard: Ready Magic Weapon, trigger: When Orsik is adjacent. [dice=20] + 8 = 11 vs kobold6 AC [dice=6]+4 = 6 damage On hit: Adjacent allies get +1 attack, +3 damage until the end of my next turn.
