The group was almost upon the floating tower, the base of which was a hundred feet in the air. Just beyond the floating tower was a enormous, overgrown mound of rubble comprised of debris from Ustraternes. This mound reached half way up to the tower. The air was filled with floating chucks of rock of various sizes. There were also chunks of marble embedded in the ground, some large enough to hide behind. Just as Harknail asked, "How do we get to the tower?" the group came within sight of a dragonborn wearing the red tabard of Zehir that the group has seen before. Map

Map updated, sorry my macro to update the map is a bit buggy.
The group and the Zehir follower see each other at the same time. Both were looking for trouble, so neither is surprised (much). The Zehir follower is wearing chainmail and is armed with a flail.

Barbatos waits for the others to act - he could slow the dragonborn's flight but did not wish to act prematurely and ruin any attempt at a bluff.

Claros steps slightly back from the group, shifting from one foot to the other. He mutters to himself, calculating the possible routes around what might soon become a battlefield. Then, a sudden thought hits him and he looks around, peering as far around the surrounding rocks as he can from his position. He mutters some more, then grunts in frustration. Something feels wrong. Perception Check1d20+6=22Claros is going to start slightly south of the group out of caution.

Blastishy then gives the closest things to orders, and his comrades hear in their minds" this is the shard-mind, watch out for other dragonborn, there may be more in the trees and tower. spread out, take cover. he wants us to bottle neck to take us out one at a time, don't all cluster up. anyone with range take out any that are to far for us to hit and have target priority. The rest of you attack from all sides if u can get there. ill buff you and heal you when need be. make him react to all of us or have to retreat. if he does retreat then hit him with range but no one go one on one with him. Attack" (( i know this is longer then a free action is do to length so this is what he is doing for his full action,)).

Llewelyn keeps an eye out for others, but wonders if they should charge into a fight. "We might be able to learn something from him, anyone want to try to talk?"
Llewelyn keeps his bow in hand, with an arrow in the other.

Harknail stepped forward, interposing his body between the possibly hostile intruder and the rest of the group. Harknail tries to talk to him, but gets out no more than a couple of words before the Zehir follower steps behind some rocks while he shouts out, "Intruders!"
The suspicous and sharp eyed Claros realizes that there is so much floating rubble between them and the tower that it is hard to see if anyone is there. But he spots movement in the air and spies another dragonborn standing on a good sized bit of rubble about 75 feet in the air.
To keep from delaying things another week, I went ahead and rolled initiative for everyone. The order is: Llewelyn, Harknail, Claros, Barbatos, Monster turn, Blastishy, Reusol. The fellow up in the air has superior cover from floating debris (especially the chunk he's standing on). The one on the ground has cover from being behind waist high rocks.
Tag Llwelyn, Harknail, Claros, and Barbatos for full turn (minor, move, standard) actions.

Barbatos hunkered down behind the rocks cast out a ray of ice towards the escaping dragonborn before he could outrun the group and warn his companions.
At this distance the mage trusted in his protective cloak to hide his position from airborn advarsaries.

Llewelyn observes the nearby dragonborn, then unleashes the arrow in his hand- along with another.

Hmmm... maybe I should focus more on aiming than quickly firing... thinks Aelos to himself. He then moves to behind one of the floating rocks. (G-22) 5 spaces to the right.[rand=11594030961118806293408170007749399277856485575048405431043398033]

The dragonborn ducks and dodges one arrow while the other hits his chainmail at a bad angle and fails to penetrate it.
G-22 is on top of the waist high rocks. Climbing there would take 3 points of movement. Llewelyn could reach there, but I think you meant G-24 (5 squares due west from where he was), so I put him there. Please let me know if that's not what you intended.

His suspicions confirmed, Claros quickly moves to Barbatos' left, then summons an invisible shroud around the closest foe. He draws his longsword from the sheath on his back and stands ready for combat. When the time is right, he'll know where to strike.
Claros should end up at A-22, and he's dropping an Assassin's Shroud on the ground-based dragonborn.

Harknail did as Blastishy asked and kept his distance from the dragonborn. Though doing so went against his inclinations, he was built to follow orders. Instead of closing, Harknail issued a divine challenge, then drew and tossed a javalin at the dragonborn on the ground, but the javelin bounced harmlessly off the rock in front of the dragonborn. Atk vs AC, damage: (1d20+6=15, 1d6+3=5)

The dragonborn sniper (S1) on the high floating piece of rubble jumped to another piece of rubble to get a better vantage point, then shot an arrow at Llewelyn. But the grazed one of the floating bits of debris and came nowhere near Llewelyn. Atk vs AC, damage: (1d20+10=13, 1d10+4=8)Another dragonborn sniper (S2) emerged from the tower onto a ledge. Looking at the attackers below she also selected Llewelyn as her target. This one managed to avoid the floating debris and hit Llewelyn (for 12 points). Atk vs AC, damage: (1d20+10=22, 1d10+4=12)I'll continue the monster turn when I get a chance, probably this weekend. Sorry, no tags yet.

The dragonborn brigand (#1) on the ground charged Harknail in response to Harknail's divine challenge. But his heavy flail bounced harmlessly off of Harknail's plate armored skin. Atk vs. AC, Dmg: (1d20+7+1=12, 2d6+4=7)Another dragonborn brigand (#2) charged forth from where he'd been hiding in the rubble (at M20) to engage Llewelyn. The perceptive and agile elf both saw the brigand coming and dodged the swinging flail, making it look easy. Atk vs. AC, Dmg: (1d20+7+1=10, 2d6+4=10)Yet another dragonborn brigand (#3) appears, this one riding a Warwing Drake that launched from the top of the tower (130 feet up). The drake started making it's way down to the ground, getting about halfway down. Meanwhile the rider seemed to be doing something to his weapon. [Player turn, tag all] Just a reminder that you can post in any order, you don't have to wait for players that are above you in initiative order. I'll apply the actions in the order posted. If I haven't seen a post for you in a week, I'll take over your character for the round to keep the game moving.

I am going to help Llewelyn, wizard keep that drake from flying with every thing you have don't let them control the sky. Blastishy stretches forth his hand. Llewelyn's armor shines and starts to crackle sparks of lighting from it and then blasts froth into the dragon born in front of Llewelyn (24 H). Llewelyn get +1 to AC until the end of my next turn. Thundering Armor [dice=20]+5 vs fort= 14 vs fort save.
Damage[dice=8]+4= 6
if hit you push the secondary target 1 square away from the primary target. pushing target to (24 I)
I will move to (22 G)[rand=408092780970037872874453430995327314756601117558009518960025162]
