Barbatos's one two punch of scorching bursts had a dramatic affect. The first left the bandit blooded as it singed both the bandit and the drake and left the tree smoldering slightly. The Dragborn was able to use the drakes body to shield it from the second scorching burst, but that was enough to ignite the twigs of the tree. Staying there was not going to be good for their health! The rocks are only about waist high, so provide no cover from a burst attack like Scorching Burst. Scorching Burst doesn't normally ignite things, but since you're hitting it twice in rapid succession, I decided to allow it It's not as big of a blaze as is shown on the map, but anyone ending their turn in one of those squares will take 5 fire damage.Map

MOVE: Move to D-20 to flank Brigand 1 with Blastishy's phantasm.
(Flanking DOES give +2, right?)
Harknail is already at D-20 (as shown on the map above). Also Moving away from brigand #2 will give him a free opportunity attack against Claros. Since D-20 is occupied, please modify your turn or post a different action.Duh! I can just have Harknail move first and get out of your way. So you can keep your move, just confirm if you're willing to grant an opportunity attack to the bandit you're moving away from.

the spirit will then attack from where it is at. the phantom does an attack that looks so similar to the comrade standing next to him, there was the same style still in the attack, but it was slightly changed for it could not truly duplicate an exact copy of how the form it took on acted, but it was dam near close. To hit vs will [dice=20]+7=9
Damage [dice=6] + [dice=6] +4= 10
I am using Phantasmal Henchman Attack Target One creature Attack Intelligence vs. Will Hit 2d6 + Intelligence modifier psychic damage, and the target grants combat advantage to all attackers until the end of its next turn.[rand=034970061387866735584559882758185376361429784446953859261872712523]

My bad Joe let Harknail go before this attack. I realized if it goes first he will not be flanking cause it goes away at the end of my turn and i want Harknail to still have flanking on his attack.

Harknail has already had advantage of flanking with your construct, he can't get that advantage again.

Duh! I can just have Harknail move first and get out of your way. So you can keep your move, just confirm if you're willing to grant an opportunity attack to the bandit you're moving away from. I actually was thinking of having Claros Shadow Step to E-21, then drop an Assassin's Shroud on the brigand and attack with Shadow Storm. However, I wasn't sure if I should keep my old rolls, and subtract/add from them as needed, or if I should re-roll. Either way, I missed, so I'm burning an Action Point to attack again with Shadow Storm. To be honest, I don't mind that the other two attacks missed... *wicked smirk*
My post is updated, so it's described in detail there.
Cheers!

Claros missed with his first blow as the brigand proved to be better than expected at dodging foes that appear out of nowhere. But Claros' second blow left the brigand bloodied.

Blastishy's replica of Reusol copied Reusol very well, but didn't take into account that it was standing on a piece of marble that had it 3 feet higher than Reusol. The Dragonborn easily ducked under the high blow. The replica of Reusol then faded away.

Llewelyn was curious to see if his attacker could take another two arrows. Twin Shot (+1 to hit - prime shot) v AC [dice=20]+10 = 18 [dice=20]+10 = 28 For [dice=10]+2 = 9 [dice=10]+2 = 11 Quarry [dice=08] Total of 27 if both shots hit.

Reosul Undaunted by the resent failure, i reset and strike again, trying to deliver a crushing blow to make up for the failure. Eldritch Strike vs AC [dice=20] +9 = 15 [dice=12] +14 = 23 Do i get flanking from Harknail? cause otherwise this dice roller is just hateing me. i had tried to post from my ipad and it closed on me when i had a 15 so i got this roll instead from my desktop Miss: "I must be out of practice." then prepare for a counter blow. Hit: "As i thought..." then fall back and move down to H23. Provokeing an attack of opportunity i hope.[rand=268426909712076833738940470356626581248155337483342524338181473341]

Llewelyn was curious to see if his attacker could take another two arrows. The answer was that he could not. After two more arrows hit the brigand in the chest he fell forward, dead.

[/quote] No, sorry, you need to be directly opposite to get flanking. But even a 17 wouldn't have been enough to hit. If you don't like this dice roller, you can use this one: Invisible Castle. I find it easier to use, plus the rolls are stored so you can recover them if your post is lost (though it's a lot easier to find them if you log in).

The sniper high up in the floating rubble (#1) continues to make her way even higher as she tries to find a clear shot at Harknail. But the arrow glanced harmlessly off of Harknail's breastplate. Atk vs Ac, Damage: (1d20+8=17, 1d10+4=9)The sniper at the base of the tower (#2) also shoots at Harknail. This shot bounced harmlessly off of Harknail's steel plated sword arm. Atk vs Ac, Damage: (1d20+8=17, 1d10+4=5)The first brigand (#1) yells up at the snipers, "Can't you hit anything? I could use some help down here!" Taking a step back, he takes a swing at Harknail. Whether by luck or by skill, he managed to hit Harknail in a vulnerable joint. But Warforged are made for battle and it would take more than that to stop Harknail. But then the Dragonborn took a deep breath and exhaled over those that had surrounded him. His breath made garlic breath smell pleasant in comparison. Harknail, Reusol, and Blastishy were sickened by the dragonborn's poisonous breath. Which was interesting since Neither Harknail nor Blastishy needed to breathe. Atk vs Ac, Damage: (1d20+8=22, 2d6+4=10)Harknail,Claros,Reusol,Blastishy, Damage: (1d20+7=18, 1d20+7=10, 1d20+7=24, 1d20+7=20, 1d6+4=7)The second brigand (#2) just lay where he fell, a puddle of blood spreading out from his body. The third brigand (#3) leapt from the flames while calling in Draconic for his mount to follow him. Racing around the rocks to a flanking position, he came upon the wizard by himself. Still the rocks did give Barbatos some cover as the dragonborn swung his flail. Seeing where the flail was going, Barbatos easily stepped out of it's way. Atk vs Ac, Damage: (1d20+8=15, 2d6+4=14)The air was filled with a familiar smell, that of roasting Drake. The combination of his masters calls and the heat of the flame were enough to wake the drake, just in time for it to succumb to the flames with a mournful wail. Monsters done, players turn. Tag all.

Outmatched, Barbatos threw out a wave of force to distract his adversary and fled for cover, the wave of magic flinging the smaller floating stones like shrapnel. "Another behind us!". Glancing towards the others he noticed that the rock he held aloft was now directly above a dragonborn, and he ended his magic with a quick gesture - allowing it to drop to it's previous height. Though it would not crush the creature it might distract him. Thunderwave against adjacent opponent [dice=20]+7 vs fort [dice=6]+6 thunder damage, and pushed back 2 squares.
Move to G24. If the dragonborn resists the push then use the orb to shift to G24 as a move action instead.
End the hold of the rock floated up over E19

Claros' eyes lit up again as he saw that his latest target was on the verge of defeat. As the all-too-familiar mist drifted over the dragonborn, Claros tucked his blade under his arm, slightly crouching. When the mist flashed, he slashed upward and to the right so fast that the he flung the shadows away from his blade, sending them hurtling straight at the brigand. He smirked, his eyes ablaze as the blade of shadows closed in... " There will be no escape from your destined end..." he thought to himself, his smirk growing wider. He then disappeared into Ruesol's shadow, and reappeared beside Llewelyn.
FREE ACTION Dropping an Assassin's Shroud on the brigand next to Harknail. STANDARD ACTION Attacking the brigand with Inescapable Blade, invoking the shroud. - Attack: 1d20+10=23 versus AC. -- 1d20+10 base attack. - Damage: 1d8+1+1d6=11. -- 1d8+1 base damage; 1d6 for one invoked shroud. MOVE ACTION Shadow Step to E-24.
Cheers!

Barbatos blasts the drag born away from him and retreats to a safe spot. Claros surprised his target by attacking without closing the distance between them and scored a telling blow. But Dragonborn are tough, both of the brigands are still standing.

Joe i cant find the rules for being sickened in the php. what are the rules for it? I assume this question pertains to the other game. I don't see anything about sickened in either the 3.5 PHP or the 3.0 DMG. My assumption is that this is a condition that the GM came up with (much kinder than the nauseated condition which is in the DMG), and will provide us with the needed information. It seems to fade quickly once you're out of the black clouds which seem to be part of this particular mages spells.
