All 5 dragons bow and the dragon guard knell as you all enter the room. The king in a bold voice " MY lords and ladies of the realm have to royal record show that tonight this Dragon court recognize the Lady brieeny and her royal guard to our court. My lady you may now have the floor for it was you who asked for this meeting."
This is now a skill challenge so any member here can try and help with the talks " Ill get straight to the point..."

she starts by telling them that they need their help and have much to gain such as getting there homeland back.
she is very small in such a large room but for one so small but her words carry thought the chamber yet the dragons are not angry at her words in what she has to say, yet they don't wish to fully commit to a full out war just yet, they need more convincing.
you need 10 successes before 5 fails

history, diplomacy, k( n&R) others if you can give me a good reason as to why this would fit in this situation.

Callo dismisses the thoughts of plane shifting, too risky - she will have to restrict herself to smaller groups as required.
Suggesting that the dwarves return to their hiding for now, and keep their eyes open for the cleric or any device or information pertaining to the use of magic, she turns invisible and returns to her sanctuary to rest and prepare for the outcome of the meeting.
With spellbooks and note scraps arrayed before her she closes her eyes and looks once more through those of a summoned bird overlooking the meeting room.

Just curious, what are the guards?
Nokomis realizes that she's purely an honor guard at this point. She had never seen so many adult dragons in one place before! There really was no way for her to guard the diplomat if things went bad. Even when dealing with one dragon one always hoped that things didn't go bad in the negotiations. With this many, any one of which could easily kill them if it got offended, Nokomis hoped even stronger that negotiations would go as the Dragon Negotiator planned!

So far the dragons looked very calm : "If the ambassador allows I wish to move on to a new topic. I wish to address the situation of the young blue dragon and my daughter. My daughter has told me that he has spent time with her and that she is quite fond of him. Before i allow them to continue spending such time with each-other I would like to know his exact intentions and what kind of dragon he truly is and whether or not I can trust him with her. On this topic i would like to hear from her protector sir George and what he thinks. For i have complete trust in his seance of character of others. George what is your assessment on all of this?"

"I have yet to see much of the two together. But what i have seen and heard i would say his intentions are honorable. But as of yet both are young and youth is fickle as all know. Allowing them to spend time together would not be a poor decision. But it is my humble opinion it would be best if they were yet attended lest some mischance befall either or both of them." George replies, sure in his deduction, yet uncomfortable to be called upon in front of such an audience.

We have always had a understanding with your kind to live and let live. we don't enter their territory unless announced and it is the same for them when they come here. I thank you for taking our laws seriously by sending the note of your arrival and for keeping to the long standing traditions . I understand that your here only to protect her, yet if your brother wishes to continue to see my daughter then I ask George and yourself to accompany them. If your willing to do this then i can give consent as George has advised. The second thing is are you willing to go back to your home land and ask your kind to take flight against the reds? It would easy my mind to know we would not be alone in the war. Do you agree to help in these two things to the best of your ability?"

Callo watched with interest, so they were after allies... or distractions. She wondered if they expected the reds here soon or if they believed they were far enough south to avoid attention. If agents of Kerratanar found there way here things could get interesting in a hurry.

What amount of xp is available for crafting and other uses from the last 13 levels?Preparing another hide from dragons spell, Callo searched through her notes to determine the best way to locate others in the city - locate person for the cleric and perhaps the ork, locate item for the axe and any of those coins that had proven so useful before. And true seeing, flight, invisibility ... and another rope trick, this place was no longer unknown. It shouldn't be hard to track down the lead dwarf, or a distinct item he possessed, andsomeone in the city must have a suitable mirror for scrying - time to take a closer look around.

No one has the ax all of you were going to start looking for it and were sidetrack with this mission. so you can't find the ax in this location.
I don't like to have people have to spend xp on any items wands, etc. So what i do is have it take time according to how powerful an item is. this prevents people from having to spend Xp (and/or) may lose lvs do to spending such xp on one item. if it brakes gets stolen then your out a lot of Xp. Also it takes a lot of time to make powerful items other wise they would be all over and there not. as to the list you can make any item you have the spell to put in that it asks for. You can make up to for up to medium but not major you need to be at 15 to do that. Also the more power you give the harder it is to control it when your making or using it. wand of fireball for example- say you want to put the lowest lv of that spell and not give it full charges. not as long to make and less risk for it is not at full charge. if you do it at full charge higher rish but not as bad as a fully charged max fireball wand. things can only hold so much magic and can take only so much of it being used until it brakes or can even explode. just like driving a New car the faster you go is nice the more work the car needs to do. if you go over drive all the time ever time and you don't keep it in good condition it will brake down. it will brake down over time cause it cant take what your asking or making it do and could just die on you without much warning. it is also high risk high reward lower risk not as high reword.

I don't like to have people have to spend xp on any items wands, etc. I was initially just thinking of making things like see invisible and greater magic fang permanent - I didn't do it during character creation because Callo was complicated enough, and because one good dispel roll and you lose the xp you've spent on them
Didn't have any immediate plans for crafting, Callo is has raw power but is relatively unskilled as a caster.

the question is do you have both the permanency spell and i do know you have the other 2. see invisible will only let you see ghosts and that kind of thing so it is not like true sight that can see through things and enchantments. yet i figure you already know that but i wanted to point it out just in case. if you want to put it on yourself or others that is fine, but any detection of spells the people that have them on them will light up showing they have them on them, just like a item with any spell would. and a dispel targeted on you if high enough can take it off of said person just like if an item got hit with the same thing. so on you or in an item does not make it much different just the place meant. i will say spells can go on body parts using the same tree of slots items do. so a neck, eyes, feet etc but will not stack with other items, so no +4 boot to str and a +2 bulls str on your mid section. other wise you could just stack things so high and have no drawback from it.

Callo sets out to find first the dwarves, and then the cleric. the question is do you have both the permanency spell and i do know you have the other 2 (Callos spell list is on her sheet, 3rd post, under 'spellbooks') There are only a handful of spells that actually work with it, and Callo doesn't have most of them - things like bulls strength, etc, cannot be made permanent.

Yes you are able to cast them on yourself or others and have that work just fine. please remind me from time to time that you have it for i may in my notes lose track of it now and again, but ill try not to.

Callo keeps an eye on the meeting while paging through her spellbooks, work to be done lest the dwarves continue with their original plans.
For now Callo will just concentrate on finding her targets - if either the dwarf or cleric were carrying distinct objects when she saw them she will prepare a locate objects spell, otherwise she'll have to burn a higher level slot on locate person.

she is able to find the dwarfs with the spell. the cleric has moved on for her spell would tell her he is no longer in the city, for the item in question can't be found in the city and she would know it was a personal item of his so it should show up if he was near by.
meanwhile: the dragon king excuses the meeting and the dragons all leave to the charmers. the princess hugs her new boyfriend and kisses him and they take off together for a evening flight.
the ambassador takes to her chambers. George and Nokomis are the only 2 left in the Main chamber.

Callo informs the dwarf of what has occurred, and asks them to choose a meeting place where the ambassador might meet them to travel away from the city.
She also inquires about the cleric - wondering if he had already made contact.

He did in fact meet up with them and found it best to slip out of the city and head to the good dragons asap.
so there are a few options as to what quest you all go on:
1 finding the lost Ax and finding the king of Aren: those of you who don't recall Aren is the city where most of the party started.
2 you can go the temple of Isis to learn more about the weal in Aren
3 you can go find the good dragons
4 you could go to the gem dragons and see what they would want to do
5 you can try to rally the 9 nomadic tribes
6 or go find the blue dragons
7 go on a personal quest or quests ( so ill use more of the PC's back story for these) aka character growth option All are options also you can pick not to go on any quest and just go adventure that works to. i just want this to be an open world so that there is little restriction on where you can go/ do. i find games are more fun to have options but if players wish to do other things ill go along with it as long as it does not turn into just a sand box for that kind of game bores me a bit. yet i do need a full commitment so that everyone is together for what they pick.
