"I'll be back." say's Ka'lion going over a sitting across the table from the barbarian. "Hi."

The man looks up, younger than he had appeared and far larger - his youth hidden by scars of battle and rough living, one eye white and sightless.
He studies Ka'lion but shows no sign of recognition, "why do you approach me, small man?".
There is no particular malice in his voice, nor does he reach for his weapons - though Ka'lion notes that his hand does not stray far from them. Armour and muscle is visible under his fur cloak, his low posture of one ready to leap into action at a moments warning concealing his true height though Ka'lion would guess the man is at least a foot taller and a good hundred or more pounds heavier.
As Ka'lion approached from the mans left he can see clearly a silver-bladed axe hung from a baldric, the edge shimmering with an arcing blue glow. A huge bow of bone and sinew lies on the table beside him and more weapons bulge out from beneath his furs.

"You seem to have an impressive collection of useful tools. Your bow made of bear bones or something else? You see I'd like to make one for myself. I'm not as strong as you seem to be and I was hoping you would give me some helpful suggestions. Such as what it was made of? How it was made. What skills I'd need to learn to make my own? I'll buy you a drink in return. I realize I'm not offer you much in return for you kindness. I just bought a bow and frankly it's not a strength bow and I'd like a bow of the wilds. It's more me." said Ka'lion

He lets out a gruff laugh, "I took the bow from a warrior five times your size, after I crushed his skull in my hands. But if you can draw the bow to it's full length I will give it to you, small man."
He draws out an arrow, more than three feet long, and stabs it into the wood floor near Ka'lions feet before turning back to the performance.

"May I give it a try?" asks Ka'lion with a gentle smile.
If and only if the big man hands the bow to him will Ka'lion pick up the bow. He's not looking for trouble. But he knows he is stronger then he appears. Str 12+4 for mask+4 rage if needed. = +9 over all.[dice=20][rand=379514886997640139880438966210932533271761378273411988131003454328]

The bonus from predator form is only available when shapeshifted into predator form - a wolf in this case, quite incapable of pulling a bow.The man makes no move to hand you the bow, indeed he is pointedly ignoring you. The challenge has begun to draw the attention of others though.

Ka'lion shrugs and returns to his seat and orders a small breakfast. Ka'lion has no interest in starting a fight. The innkeeper has treated the party well. Ka'lion sees no reason to destroy the mans place because of an issue of pride. Let the man keep his bow. Ka'lion can ask another archer latter.

So I thought I leveled him up already, looks like I didn't. Anyways, all I mainly need is to think of a feat for 3rd level. Aelos has no reason to approach any of the other guests, but debates asking if they might have information about the wizard the party met the other day. For now he'll continue to watch the performance and will continue to think about the wizard. Aelos has no gather information (other than CHA bonus), so he isn't very good at it, but he's got a good diplomacy score for once he starts talking with people.

Tiring of the kitten's antics, Vadania looks around the room and spots the hunchbacked archer. Going up to him, she asks, "Howdy stranger, do you mind if I sit with you for a while?"

Despite having noticed Vadania's approach, Throsah is surprised when she speaks to him. "I do not mind, please have a seat." Motioning to stool/chair/place near him, Throsah turns and gets a better look at her, while still trying to keep an eye on the whole tavern.

Ka'lion walks over to the hunched back stranger as well. When asked about the breakfast, he'll say it's for the girl and her kitten. But he'll take an apple and some bread, then pay for it. "It's hard for me to eat with this mask stuck to my face."

A round of applause, and some disappointment from the children in the inn, announces the end of the performance as the girl quickly collects up the thrown coins while keeping an eye on the kitten to ensure it is not too enthusiastically petted by the patrons.
Madaline joins Aelos at the table as Ka'lion stands, "quite a show, bet she does well out of it. Was a faire came through 'ere years back 'ad a cat like that, only much bigger."

"I'm going to get the priests to remove the mask. I'm getting tired of not eating anything but berries." said Ka'lion paying for the meal for the girl. Then he leaves.

Ka'lion moves to leave, recalling that he also had other business with the priests here. Outside the populace is busy at work repairing damage to buildings and, after asking for directions, Ka'lion takes a somewhat winding route through the town to avoid a partially collapsed bridge.
It was dark and overcast when Ka'lion first came here but now in the sun he can more fully appreciate the architecture - not as extravagant as the stories he has heard of the great cities in Woldegard and Merebas but well crafted none the less, especially given it's location.

Assuming Vadania can hear Maddy's comment. If not, let me know and I'll post something else.Vadania comments, "I've never seen a cat like that. What is this faire you're talking about? I don't think I've ever seen one of those either."

Madaline replies, "The circus of the sun, a troupe of performers that comes through 'ere every so of'en on there way 'tween Woldegard and Merebas. All kinds of odd creatures, the cat they 'ad was as big as a horse!"

When Ka'lion gets to the temple he'll ask to see the high priest for assistance. He has first come to town looking for sweet water. But at this point he doubts he'll b able to afford it anymore.

As Ka'lion approaches the temple he hears a distant horn, followed by closer horns and then the sound of bells. The townsfolk look worried and many hurry indoors while guards rush towards the west wall.

Can't think of what to take for my feat, any suggestions? If Aelos could hear the horn sounding, he will check to make sure he has his gear on him. Curious as he is about the winged cat and the young performer, town safety is of more importance. If Aelos couldn't hear the horn, he'd want to talk to the young performer. He might be over thinking it, but he's concerned about where her parents are and whatnot.

Argument healing turns a cantrip into a heal spell of 3 and adds 2 points to any healing spell. It's a very useful feat for Priest. But if your planning on taking a prestige class as a option take the feats and skills that your prestige class requires. That's what I'm doing with Ka'lion so I can take shapeshifter at 5th level.
