Sorry guys, had to go out of town unexpectedly.
I am open to suggestions. Perhaps try to talk with them? Delay them? Or just attack? What do you think Hark?

I think they could be allies, except that they are controlled or possessed . So Attack is the only option.

Does Garrot have enough movement to charge?

Vadania advises advancing, then waiting for them to come to you. In game terms, move forward, then prepare to attack when they come in range. This lets you get the first attack (I think), without the problems of charging into set spears. Obviously this doesn't work if anyone charges, since they would simply gang up on that person.

Does Garrot have enough movement to charge? They are just a bit too far away for Garrot - 50 feet. It looks like a defensive line to protect the caster but they have moved close enough that they can charge themselves if they see an opening.

Garrot reconsiders and draws his short bow, launching an arrow in the general direction of the person not holding a spear. He hopes to at least disrupt any spells being shot their way.

The arrow strikes true, but Garrot's target is merely an illusory duplicate that vanishes as the arrow passes through - leaving four identical spellcasters standing behind the spear women.

Since Garrot isn't advancing, Ylva will stay by Vadania's side and simply growl at the new threat.

The spearwomen hold their ground, content for now to defend against a charge while the priestess remains protected by her magic.
The priestess for her part creates a sphere of fire to counter Vadania's arrows, appearing infront of the elf and rolling rapidly towards her (8 fire damage, ref save for half)
As the ranged duel between the pair continues Lynette, looking somewhat winded by the strain of casting her most recent spell, announces simply "done!" as the magic enchanting the groups weapons glows ever brighter and cold enough to chill those nearby (all weapons - including ranged weapons - now do an extra 4d6 cold damage)

With the bonus from Lynette, Vadania goes back to archery while she still can, sending an arrow at one of the mages.

The shot strikes the sorceress, a powerful burst of ice exploding from the arrow that Vadania can feel even at this distance. The sorceress staggers back and as she does so the illusions close in around her and then spread out to new locations leaving the group once again unsure which is the true target. [Tag Ylva/Garrot]Was that healing that Lynette did an ongoing effect? (yes, fast healing 1 below half health - it's one of the persistent auras that Lynette can activate)

Ylva will stay at Vadania's side for now. Sending her alone to charge people with set spears doesn't seem like a good idea.
Yea! I was lucky enough to hit the right one! And that ongoing healing is going to help a LOT!

Garrot will continue to fire arrows in hopes of either damaging the priestess or getting a reaction out of the spear carriers. He will start taunting them as well while he shoots.
"You hold those spears like little girls! I bet you couldn't poke your way out of a burlap sack you ugly old harridans!"

Garrot's arrow removes another of the illusionary images, and the sorceress is forced to duck back and reach for a healing potion rather than pressing her attack - though the magical orb of fire she created continues to chase Vadania (7 damage, ref for half)
The spearwomen respond by breaking formation, rushing forwards to engage the party. Vadania and Garrot avoid the worst of it but both Ylva and Lynette are caught in the charge (3 and 5 damage respectively)
The group can fee Lynette's magic still healing them, slowly, and their weapons glisten with magical ice - but Lynette herself looks near collapse from her efforts.

Just checked character status, Vadania had more HP than I thought, so she's still up but just barely (1 HP).
Vadania steps away from the fireball and the superwoman to get another shot at the mage. She realizes that if the mage doesn't go down the fireball will kill her. Meanwhile Ylva does her best to protect her friend from the superwoman, shifting to get flanking if possible.

You'll want to be getting healed before another round of that though ... The problem is that the fireball is doing more damage than Vadania can heal in a round (especially conserving her healing rolls so far). So she's hoping to get lucky and take out the mage so that fireball is no longer a thread. Unfortunately, that's a long shot
