A New Beginning

Ylva pulls down the warrior infront of her, though the wolf does not benefit from Lynettes magic, and Vadania lines up one last shot at the sorceress - but to her despair strikes only another illusion.

Lynette has plans of her own however as she calls out "Garrot! Now!" and sweeps a sheet of magical ice across the ground knocking bother her assailant and Garrots to the ground before she runs past them both with a surprising burst of speed to engage the sorceress - Garrot's sharp eyes pick out a subtle glow of magic from the pin the holds her cloak in place as she speeds away.

Garrot will leap at the opportunity to strike a blow at one of the fallen warriors on the ground. He attacks with his spear, yelling angrily (for a halfling)

Garrot's blow dispatches the warrior - Lynettes enchantment proving to be decisive. Her companions nearby struggle to their feet (one AoO each for Garrot, Vadania, and Ylva) while the last standing warrior stabs at Ylva trying to fell the wolf before it pulled her down too (5 damage)

Under attack from Lynette the sorceress is forced to step away to cast, distracted from her fiery orb momentarily. Her retaliation is effective however as she throws out a wave of fire that knocks Lynette to the ground unmoving - though her icy enchantment persists for now.


The rest of the warriors actions will be determined after AoO attacks, and then tag all.
Note that the sorceress is down to a single mirror image - it's a 50/50 shot at this point.

Vadania is currently holder her bow. I don't think she can make an opportunity attack, unless it's a kick or a punch. But if the GM says otherwise, I'll be happy to make one

But if the GM says otherwise, I'll be happy to make one It is actually in the rules somewhere that you can't make AoOs unless armed (though improved unarmed strike counts) - so nothing for Vadania unless she wants to club at the warrior with her bow as an improvised weapon and risk damaging it.

The rising warrior blocks Garrot's blow and strikes back, though not quickly enough as she struggles to keep her feet on the frozen ground.

Their advarsaries numbers are growing thin - the sorceress is exposed but the party is running out of steam. One way or another this fight is likely to end soon.

Garrot, fearing that his group is nearing its end, attacks the spear wielder, hoping to get her down quickly and out of the fight.

The sphere of flame begins to roll towards Vadania once more but as it does so the magic flickers and dies out (its 3 rounds are up )

Garrot is not so fortunate however as the spearwoman takes advantage of his momentary lapse in concentration to strike him with her spear (4 damage) and then sweep around seemingly seeking to knock him off his feet. The halfling dodges away deftly before suddenly realising his error - the attack had been meant to guide him onto the magical ice that Lynette had created earlier (reflex save DC 14 or fall over)

Meanwhile the sorceress can do little but defend herself with the dagger at her side (3 damage), Ylva's attacks making it dangerous to cast spells.

Vadania's arrow misses, but the bite is enough to convince the sorceress to try something a little less cautious, throwing out a wave of fire to knock Ylva to the ground.

The spearwoman continues to battle Garrot with an eye on Vadania, cautious of attack from behind her own strike goes wide.
