"I can float us across one at a time", notes Barbatos, "save perhaps for Harknail"

My only fear with that course of action is just incase we need to retreat form the dragon the river is still an obstacle to us comming back.
The issue with my idea is. With what gear we have its hard to make a lasting solution.
Yet if we were able too hopefully it is here when we come back. I just have no idea on what we would use.
I do agree it would work and flouting us across is rather safe.
I just don't want to be cut off form an exit but I don't know what we have around here that we could use.

Harknail looked at the stream, then at the others, "I be able to carry ye across one at a time. Methinks the only fast way to retreat be to build a bridge."

looking in one of his books zem flips the pages. after a few moments:
" Well darn after I took a look at my book just now i don't have make hole. Shame it would have been usefull right now. No matter ok time to go with plan B.
Harknail i feel making you carry us, as much as i love the offer is making u do extra work.
I would like to go with the other option of us flouting over it entierly an dhave you walk into the stream to the other side.
looking at harknail
" Sorry you have to walk in that cause that does not look like much fun."

Barbatos unstraps his rock, unsure exactly how much weight it would carry. Rocks of this size had supported Harknails weight earlier but the magic was far stronger at the origin. (actual weight limit is 500lbs)
Thinking that Harknail should probably be the first across and judging the distance for support fire another thought strikes him and, after briefly checking his notes, Barbatos scratches out a circular pattern of runes on the ground which glow and seem to lift away in response to his arcane command.
Re-securing his rock Barbatos motions for a few of his allies to mount up, hovering slightly above and behind them as they cross to afford a good view of the other side and protection against anything that might lurk below.

A little experimentation confirms that the disk can cross the stream, floating above the water just as it floats above the ground. It can carry either the 3 living members of the group, or the 2 heavier members not made of flesh. Barbatos can easily and quickly have the floating disk make two trips to get everyone across quickly and without anyone getting wet.
In case a quick retreat is needed, Harknail and Bennegar can walk across the stream while the rest use the disk to cross.
OOC: Great idea!
