The zombies and animals disappear upstairs into the fog as the zombies continue to try and push past them on to the upper floor (AoO for all summons).
With the zombies forced onto the right-hand staircase by the animals and George, Ka'lion runs up the left staircase followed by the others hoping to intercept the caster on the first floor. With his speed he is almost fast enough, but as he emerges from the fog at the top of the stairway he finds the sword-armed golem standing in his way, and beyond the double doors it guarded open.
He catches sight of the shadowy caster vanishing into the darkness of the room, beyond him the summoned animals continuing to fight and push their way through the zombies that have been pushed into a corner.
[Tag all - Ka'lion is not engaged but the construct stand between him at the doorway. There is space to run around, though not enough to evade the constructs reach in the process]

Ka'lion double charges past the golem and talkes the shadow caster. and call his wolf to assit
Ka'lion +2 charge, +5 level +2 str- 2 strength+awKWfYocp_1-20=19 double move so 80 he catches him. But I agree with Danny on this one - it does feel like cheating to me.
damage +2 charge+p_1-3=3
Ka'lions wolf +4+2 charge+2 flanking+p_1-20=21
trip +1+p_1-20= 3
Goerge should send his bear to assit - all 3 of us going after the shadowcaster have a 40 or better move.
BTW: Ka'lion knows he's going to loose strength and con again. He just doesnt care if it kills him. He had the same type of fight asinst the assson. All it does is make him mad enough to fight crazy. 1-201-31-201-20

The animated armour state strikes at Ka'lion (7 damage) as he passes but then does not pursue, instead turning to swing at the wolf as it follows holding its ground outside of the room as if prevented from entering. Once inside with the wolf Ka'lion hacks away at something that first feels solid and cold, and then seems to dissipate like smoke as he stumbles into a table in the darkness. The odd chilling feeling of the ghostly caster is gone, dissipated into the ether for now. [Tag George/Shamious ]( wait a second there is a second fight up here now? We cant face another golom and win this is getting stupid now how is this lv appropriate? The construct has been standing there since the party arrived at the house - it wasn't part of the encounter, just something the zombies were forced towards when George turned them and sent them back up the stairs.
The actual set encounter was a dozen commoner zombies either unarmed or carrying kitchen knives/cleavers and a low level caster with a couple of levels of the ghost savage progression - as you saw the whole attack folded to a single turn undead, a couple of create water spells, and a solid blow from a sword.
I've been keeping the partys encounters well below the CR6-8 levels (medusas, flesh golems, etc) until it can pick up additional members and equipment - hence your previous encounter being a pair of weakened CR4 gargoyles and this side-quest being one you can bail out of with a simple dimension door spell.

Ka'lion didn't attack the caster with his sword. He attacked with his hands making his damage not lethal. As far as I can tell the ghost took 7 from the bears, 3 from Ka'lion that was not lethal and a bite from the wolf that did unknown damage it was the wolfs trip that was a 3. I had forgotten to roll damage.

Ka'lion didn't attack the caster with his sword. He attacked with his hands making his damage not lethal. In that case he doesn't hurt the ghost (as undead are immune to non-lethal damage) but it doesn't change things as this particular one is a weaker manifestation of a more powerful entity, you actually only had to hit it once but it had been making it's 50/50 miss rolls up until now (and the earlier summon attacks had to get through the zombies)
Like I said i've really watered down the encounters for the pair of you at the moment. The adventure as written was originally against the clock, but for a larger party.

( That was the impression ka'lion and myself had that we simply will die had i tried that and thats very in character to think that.
I know its hard to have a 3 team party i can see if some others might want to join us at somepint.
Again i never ment to force to have 2 games its just the personalities clashed so much over the course of the game i get its not easy to water down encounters but we went from gargoyles, to room with ghost, to hord to a 3rd golom. That can tpk and amount of pc's. I honestly in 3.5 hated combats because of all the heavy handed tatical rules they had in it. Pathfinder was bit better at simplified them. I still love it and play it but there is a point to witch combat, after combat, after combat will just resault in boringness and pc death. )
" We cant face a 3rd golom today ka'lion. i dont want to let the ass hole get away but that thing can kill all 3 of us we are out of our best shit with no way to hurt it and u know that means we run."

Ka'lion peers back at George from inside the darkened room with the golem now between the two of them and the ghost seemingly gone. Nearby the remaining zombies cower in a corner, Georges turning will not last forever but without the bolstering of the ghost it is likely that another turning attempt would destroy them entirely, if not simple combat. I still love it and play it but there is a point to witch combat, after combat, after combat will just resault in boringness and pc death. ) Unfortunately the party is even less inclined/equipped for any other kind of adventure or opposition - the city of Dahlgur and its many potential non-combat events for instance.
By extra players though I do include NPCs, you can pick up level appropriate party members at any suitable location. Thieves for dungeon delving, wizards for blasting, fighters for hitting things, and so on.

Ka'lions still trying to get home. Detaurs when he's over loaded are just not in the game plan. After he sees his family and can findly have the items he wants made made for him. He'll be ready to look around again. But Ka'lion is still 2 levels away from finely starting his pristage class studies.

[Tag George / Shamious]
Ka'lion made it into the room past the golem, who seems intent on holding its ground - specifically George notes that it was unable to follow Ka'lion past the threshold into the room.
Beyond the golem, though possible to reach via the stairs, are the remaining zombies and Georges summoned bear.

The bear might as will kill the golem It's a valid target, though the bear may need some help to deal with the constructs high DR - much as with the gargoyles. Or it can just draw it's attacks of opportunity allowing Ka'lion or George/Shamious to run past safely. The zombies won't be moving until Georges turn undead wears of in 6 rounds or so. As the construct turns to fight the bear George and Shamious slip past behind it, lighting the room futher. There is a central table here and bookshelves both freestanding and along the walls, stone like the rest of this place.
Another double door is at the far side of this room, and there is no sign of the shadow caster.
[Listen checks - and make as many attacks for the bear as it has rounds left on its summoning, less the two it spent getting up here and distracting the golem]
