AC is for Ring of Protection +2. Look at her LINK on the Sheet. I have not transferred everything over.
As for the Armour Check penalty, my bad, as I have received new armour, that now has an armour check penalty of -2. Tumble +5 now. (4 ranks, +3DEX, -2 Armour Check)
Anything else?

Callian delays until initiative count 22 of the next round. {Wow, I'm really sorry to say this, but apparently I should have marked these sooner. Your initiative count was 7 (7+0), hers 24 (17+7). I didn't think it would be a factor, but you have shown me that this is not the case. In all future battles it will be clearly marked and labeled. I do not feel right penalizing you for my mistake, therefore I will allow your count to be before Krysta acts.} Tumbling (for no reason) Krysta makes the fanciest 5 ft step ever and draws two weapons from her body. With her longsword she lashes out at the entangled Paladin. {28 vs 23, hit (18 crit!, confirm 21, fail)} As though her failed bow shots fueled this thrust her sword finds purchase between two plates of Callian's armor and pierces his side; at the last moment he twists in his seat managing to keep her blade out of his vitals {11 Dam}. When she draws her sword back the paladin's blood is evident in it's surface. Callian winces from the thrust but readies himself for the next action. {Delay to 25 next round} =========== Initiative: Callian (25), Krysta (24) Map now looks like this: _______________________ /-----------------------\ /-------------------------\ /------------(-)------------\ /-----------------------------\ /-------------------------------\ /---------------------------------\ /-----------------------------------\ /-------------------------------------\ /----------[=]-------------[=]----------\ /-----------------------------------------\ |-----------------------------------------| |-----------------------------------------| |-----------------------------------------| |------------------[===]------------------| |---(-)------------[===]------------(-)---| |------------------[===]------------------| |-----------------------------------------| |-----------------------------------------| |-----------------------------------------| \-----------------------------------------/ \----------[=]-------------[=]----------/ \----------CK-------------------------/ \---------T-------------------------/ \---------------------------------/ \-------------------------------/ \-----------------------------/ \------------(-)------------/ \-------------------------/ \-----------------------/ \_____________________/

(Actually, her init. count is 20. I refocused, setting my init. to 20. Krysta then readied an action that acted upon my action, changing her initiative to "20, just before Callian acts." (see PHB p. 160) Otherwise, I'd have just delayed until "initiative count 4,000,000" or something ridiculous. Your concern is appreciated, though...thanks, Japic.)
Callian, wincing as Krysta's blade hits home, grits his teeth and toughs it out. He raises his blade, and uses his superior swordsmanship to attempt to disarm his foe of her smaller weapon.
(+6 BAB + 3 Str +4 Imp. Disarm +1 magic + 1 mounted -2 entangled= +13. Don't forget she gets a -4 for wielding a light weapon)
His second attack is another disarm if he missed the first one, again against the short sword. (+1 BAB + 3 Str +4 Imp. Disarm +1 magic +1 mounted-2 entangled, =+8, she gets -4 again). If he successfully disarmed her before, however, he'll just attack her---+4, 1d8 base +1d6 flaming+1 magic+3 str=1d8+1d6+4.
Tinsenlaed, meanwhile, will just attack straight---two attacks with his hooves at +8 (1d6+4), and a bite at +2 (1d4+2).

Krysta glares at the Paladin, as the mount rears up and kicks at her. "How fitting for a noble Paladin. Letting his horse do his work, purely from the fact that you know you would lose in a FAIR match!" She then drops her backpack for a lighter load. She is going to need the lighter load, if she will be dodging this mounted warrior and his steed. She is now carrying a light load, for movement purposes.
IF SHE IS DISARMED: Krysta then begins another tactful response to this situation. She grabs her Bastard Sword from her back, brandishing it with great care. She then glances at Callian and the horse, unsure of which to take care of first.
She then spins the hilts of the sword at once, with a flash of steel. Her Bastard sword attempts to Sunder the strap on the saddle that is keeping the rider in place. She would rather have him on level ground, to deal with accordingly.
Sunder with Bastard Sword, +6 to hit. 1d10+1 damage, 19-20/x2
She then follows through with an attack at Callian, wether or not he falls off. Her longsword bears down on him, trying to draw him out of his saddle if not already out.
Longsword, +8 to hit, 1d8+4, plus 1d6fire, 17-20/x2
IF SHE IS NOT DISARMED:

She then takes a 5 step move NE, trying to get some cover from the ensuing attacks that are sure to follow...

*sundering provokes an AoO, & Callian will attempt to disarm her with his AoO. 6 BAB+3 Str+1 magic+1 mounted +4 Imp. Disarm-2 entangled=+13 (If she still has the short sword, Callian will go for that, and she gets -4 for it being a light weapon. If she's using the b-sword, Callian will go for that, and she doesn't take a -4)---even then, since it's possible to ride bareback, I don't know if the sunder will do anything---but that's your call, Japic.
*wonders how Krysta draws a weapon and gets a full attack---drawing a weapon is a move action, and you can't use 2 weapons in a standard action
*adds that since a bastard sword is anything but a light weapon, if she somehow DOES manage to draw and attack twice(?), she takes another -2 on the longsword attack.

Your concern is appreciated, though...thanks, Japic.) {Although I appreciate you trying to keep me straight, a few corrections to your math. Refocus does not give you a new initiative, only the same one you had. If you can find me the rule that says otherwise, I'll gladly have a look. As for Krysta's action, she moved and readied her action against your approach, not delayed. But you are correct that her initiative would have changed to (in this instance, in my world) 8. It's not horribly important though, you are still ahead on the initiative count.} Urging his mount to strike at Krysta, Callian attempts to disarm her yet again. {Ride check 19 vs 10, success} Tinsenlaed strikes out as commanded bringing two of his hooves to bear as Callian's sword attempts to persuade Krysta to drop her weapon. (In this instance, since all attacks are happing simultaneously, I will allow the hooves and the disarm at the same time, then the bite and second disarm/attack.) {Hooves 24, 21 vs 23, one success; Disarm 25 vs 13} One of the horses hooves strikes Krysta in the thigh and she winces in pain {8 Dam} receiving a blow that will bruise for sure; at the same moment Callian does a fancy maneuver and Krysta drops yet another weapon to the sandy floor. When Tinsenlaed turns to bite at Krysta Callian strikes at her again, this time seeking blood. {Bite 22 vs 22 (nat 20 crit!, confirm fail), success; callian 18 vs 22, fail.} The horse catches Krysta offguard and she narrowly misses him taking a good bite out of her {5 dam}, Callian's swing is off target as his horse turns to bite at Krysta, resulting in a glancing blow off her armor. Krysta shoulders off her pack, spitting words out as she readies herself to launch the next attack. Biringing a second weapon to bear Krysta strikes out at the tinsenlaed's girth strap; the only thing holding this saddle safely to the mounts back. As she reaches for the strap the horse sends another hof her way {AoO 17 vs 23, fail} but the hoof is avoided easily. {Sunder Object 21 vs 14, success. 8 dam, hardness 2, 6 final damage} In a flash of steel Callian expects his mount to cry out in pain, but is surprised when he feels the saddle begin to slip {evens West odds East: 4 West}. Then, Krysta thrusts again with her second weapon as the saddle begins tilting away from her. {Atk 12 vs 23, fail} With a look of surprise she stabs where he was but a moment ago, having missed as he was falling from his position. Reacting to this sudden change of events Callian automatically tries to save himself from the fall {Ride soft fall 11 vs 15, fail} but is unable to gain the advantage that he needs and falls to the ground in a sticky crash of armor {1 dam}. (Callian is prone.) With a satisfied smile Krysta takes a 5 ft step NE to gain some cover from the pillar. ======================== Initiative will continue until one party is dead or yeilds the field: Callian, Krysta. _______________________ /-----------------------\ /-------------------------\ /------------(-)------------\ /-----------------------------\ /-------------------------------\ /---------------------------------\ /-----------------------------------\ /-------------------------------------\ /----------[=]-------------[=]----------\ /-----------------------------------------\ |-----------------------------------------| |-----------------------------------------| |-----------------------------------------| |------------------[===]------------------| |---(-)------------[===]------------(-)---| |------------------[===]------------------| |-----------------------------------------| |-----------------------------------------| |-----------------------------------------| \-----------------------------------------/ \----------[=]K------------[=]----------/ \---------CT--------------------------/ \---------T-------------------------/ \---------------------------------/ \-------------------------------/ \-----------------------------/ \------------(-)------------/ \-------------------------/ \-----------------------/ \_____________________/
[/size] Round 3 of 6 Callian entangled HP totals: (after round) Krysta = 44/57 Callian = 20/32 (Mount [no saddle] =45/45) ====================== Edit: First point. She is not attacking you, she is attacking your mount. It is he that gets teh AoO, I seem to have forgot that step above, I will fix that now. According to the rulse for sundering a carried or worn object (p. 158 PHB) I have done all in accordance to the rules. She can draw her weapon as a move action provoking No AoO. Then she gets one attack with each weapon, not two with each per full attack rules. All of her mods are correct for fighting two weapons, not light handed (including masterwork and magic bonuses). See PHB p. 160 for the table on the use of that ability.

a) you're right about who gets the AoO.
b)it doesn't really matter, but it was sort of me who screwed up on the initiative. It changes my init to what it would be if the die had come up 20 (3.0 PHB, p. 134). However, refocus doesn't exist in 3.5 (my bad) and has been replaced with delaying.
c)Check "Full attack," PHB(3.5) p. 143:
"If you get more than one atttack per round because your base attack bonus is high enough, because you fight with two weapons...you must use a full-round action to get your additional attacks."

Well... my bad on that one, but I suppose it doesn't really matter anyhow. Only her first attack landed, the second is moot. Worse case scenario she gains bonuses for hitting the strap with only the one attack. I will remember that in the future, thanks.

Another note - Can't he make a Ride check to up the mount's AC, or has that been eliminated in 3.5?

"Krysta---did you ever think you'd fight me and only me? Your fight is not with me, but with Heironeous!"
Callian will stand up, and remount Tinsenlaed.
Tinsenlaed will then move 10 ft. to the right and attack once with his hooves (+8, 1d6+4).

Another note - Can't he make a Ride check to up the mount's AC, or has that been eliminated in 3.5? He certainly can, but the mounts AC never came into this equation. Attacking the girth strap wasn't attacking the vitals of the animal. The rules I cited above apply to sundering all objects carried or worn (whether by person or by beast). If she had directly attacked the horse, yes, a Ride DC of high enough level would ignore the damage. It seems a bit strange to consider the gear having a different to hit than the person carrying it, but I can understand where teh rules are coming from. A word to any lurkers out there. If anyone want's to shout encouragement from the sidelines, routing for one or another, dive on in. I only ask that your participation remain limited to words as if you were a spectator {"Go for her eyes!", etc.}, not a fully provisioned gamer {"Take a 5 ft step to the north, then do this, it'll provoke an AoO, and then do this, and blha the rules say yadda yadda yadda"}. Thanks for watching, hopefully we can get others in here soon enough. Hell if Graak ever gets with it, his fight could be going too...

Mordrock leans over the edge of his seat, watching intently as the Paladin and his horse attack Krysta.
With fiery eyes, the goblin grabs his bow, without thinking. He notches an arrow, and almost lets it loose, before Krysta turns to him, with a glare. With a simple shake of her head, he knows that she will not allow him to interfere. This is a fight that she must fight herself.
Although, sitting near Mordrock, Shadow has other plans. Her pet, whom she grew up with is on the verge of toppling over Mordrocks chair, wanting to protect its master. Who knows how long the leash will last....
Mordrock, infuriated at not being able to help, simply curses in Goblin. "Tear his head off! Mordrock use it as crap jar! And I eat his horse too!"
Krysta then delays her action until the top of initiative of the next round. She would still get her AoO on both Callian AND the mount, as they are moving ten feet, instead of 5. She has Combat Reflexes, so she will use it to gain the AoO's.
AoO with Longsword: AS Callian pointed out earlier, she could not have attacked with both weapons. Sorry about that, as I guess I have not seen that entry until now. I was looking in the wrong description, as under the Two Weapon fighting feat, it lists it as being able to make one extra attack per round, and not as a full round action. Sorry. Although, it will work to my advantage now, considering she would have cut the rope with her longsword at +10 to hit (BAB +6, STR +3, Magic +1) I am in question about the penalties. The penalties should only come into play should I strike with both weapons, utilizing the feat of two weapon fighting. Not for merely holding another weapon in her off hand, but I may be mistaken, which won't be the first OR the last time....as we are all human.
Needless to say, Krysta will be taking both AoO and using them on each of her opponents with the Longsword. +10 to hit per opponent, 1d8+4 +1d6fire dmg, 17-20/x2
(or +8 to each, should she get penalized for wielding the Bastard sword in her off hand, which I can't see why. According to the feat, it is when she gains the extra attack with her off hand that she gets the penalty.)
She will post her actions next round, after her delay. She would then be at the top of the initiative count, again. "Come at me then Callian! Or are you too scared and have to hide atop your steed?"
She will delay, seeing if the Paladin calls off his mount, and meets her on the battlefield alone. If not, then she still gets to go first the nezt round...

{As for the two handed ruling, you only incur the penalties if you attack with both. If you are holding two, there are no panalties. If holding two weapons penalized you, a person could never weild a double weapon (i.e. staff) without incurring nasty nasty penalties. You only incur the penalties if you try to use both to attack.} {As for the Cover vs AoOs, Wiz is correct. I never knew that rule existed, but it is in the PHB p 151. He will not incur AoOs for leaving the 'cover' square.} Leveraging himself to his feet, Callian disengages himself from the saddle and attempts to mount up again {Fast mount 10 vs 15, fail (Last 'fast mount' check was prolly inaccurate, I forgot to calculate his -8 for the armor check panalties associated with that action)}. He does manage to mount up, but without the saddle, his mount is proving to be a bit tougher to deal with. From his perch Callian retorts to Krysta's words: {No more actions: Stand from prone, Move. Mount, Move. After discussion with KMan, we decided that it takes a standard action to use the Ride skill (unless otherwise noted in the description of the check). As such the mount will not be moving this round. p.s. Callian don't forget your -5 to ride checks for bareback going forward.} Krysta reacts next, holding her weapons at the ready, but delaying her action. She speaks again to him, taunting the Paladin: ====================== Next round Initiatve: Krysta (26), Callian (25) _______________________ /-----------------------\ /-------------------------\ /------------(-)------------\ /-----------------------------\ /-------------------------------\ /---------------------------------\ /-----------------------------------\ /-------------------------------------\ /----------[=]-------------[=]----------\ /-----------------------------------------\ |-----------------------------------------| |-----------------------------------------| |-----------------------------------------| |------------------[===]------------------| |---(-)------------[===]------------(-)---| |------------------[===]------------------| |-----------------------------------------| |-----------------------------------------| |-----------------------------------------| \-----------------------------------------/ \----------[=]K------------[=]----------/ \---------€C¤-------------------------/ \---------T¢------------------------/ \---------------------------------/ \-------------------------------/ \-----------------------------/ \------------(-)------------/ \-------------------------/ \-----------------------/ \_____________________/

(What the heck? In that case, it's impossible to attack when your mount is charging, because you wouldn't have the action left. The Mounted Archery feat, as well as Ride-By Attack, Trample, and Spirited Charge, is also then useless, because you'd never have the action left to attack. Check the Ride skill in the PHB. [I'm using the SRD, so I can't give you a page number 'til I get home] Heck, "Guide with Knees" isn't even an action at all. The SRD, by the way, lists the Ride skill's Action entry as If that's not enough, check here. The article there is written by Skip Williams, one of the three main designers of the game. Check especially the part about "Fight Along with Your Mount" and "Guide the Mount with Your Knees." For more on this subject, check the first article in the series here. Note the part about "Your mount handles movement for you." I don't particularly mind losing this one attack of Tinsenlaed's if you don't want to go back and edit, but keeping it this way horribly nerfs mounts. And don't worry, I haven't forgotten about the bareback penalty. Also, could you mark where her bow and short sword are? I was just wondering. Thanks!) Callian delays until initiative count 27 of the next round, carefully watching Krysta's every move.

Alright Wiz, reign that one in (pun intended), slow up for a sec and lets take a closer look.
Please note that I said 'unless otherwise noted'. In the specific example of Guide with Knees, my 3.5 phb says:
The above is assuming that you are in the saddle (or mounted) at the beginning of your turn. You were not.
If you are concerned that we 'broke' the system, have a closer look and you will find that everything fits within the rules. You can indeed use your mount's movement instead of your own. However, in this particular circumstance you had no movement left, therefore the horse can go nowhere.
p.s. modded the map to reflect the dropped posessions
