Did I hear that correctly? Despite the fact that Romar's lying crushed at the foot of some cliff, I'm sure we could work him back in. If you ever manage to get (most of) the old group and possibly some new ones back together, count me in as well. BOYD II; the Return of Romar. Sweet... Well, let's look over the old cast of characters: Romar Belamor, played by Vemu: Dead Yuri Brotter, played by GeneralMHB: Missing Player Krysta Johnson, played by Fangor: Present Mordrock, played by KMan/Fangor: An elf, and present. Garor Skull Splitter, played by BluSpeces: Missing Player Caelith e'Quis'norai mar Ilduroth, played by Udjat: Present, though character was recovering from amnesia when I left him Newton Gramicci, played by Merovingian: Missing player Galdren Sunsword, played by Jevva: Missing Player? I don't think I've seen Jevva around... Callian the Kind, played by Wizard: Missing Player Hero Czelur, played by Hero/Turnkey: Dead, Missing Player Angelus Requiem, played by Artemis: Missing Player Girud Sandstrider, played by Japic: Present Sehanine Lonodel, played by sonnetinkindston: Missing Player Balin Axegrinder, played by thrawn86: Missing Player So, out of 14 original PCs, 9 have missing players. Of the rest, one is dead, one had amnesia, at least one has a short lifespan (sorry, Krysta, being human makes long-ranging sequels tricky), another was never an 'official' PC (sorry Mordrock), leaving only Girud to stand tall (no pun intended), though Japic has been notoriously busy lately. A strict continuation would be HARD, if not impossible. If there were to be a sequel, and I were to run it (just hypothetically speaking, not really proposing anything), I would start it from exactly where KMan left off - with Mordrock recapping what happened to the heroes. We could consult any players remaining to figure out what they did in the years following the Master's demise, even including their eventual death (if, indeed, they didn't die fighting the Master). It'd be so long after the old game that most characters simply wouldn't have the lifespan to make it. Only Mordrock and Caelith, the only elves, could survive those couple hundred years. It'd be more of a continuation for the world than for the characters.

well, I once, in a PM to Kman when the game was nearing the end, mentioned the possibility of Romar commiting suicide and being ressurected by the Master. The Master, in his utter sadistic evilness, would've made me a vampire, to serve him like Hirsuthe, Romar's greatest nemesis, had always done. Of Hirsuthe however, we learned, that he cherished the hope of ever replacing the Master: with the Master defeated by the remaining heroes, there would be left among the undead army's higher hierarchy only Romar. He knew about Hirsuthe's plans to take over, has an undying hatred for King Sturmguard who threw him out of his custody...
Need I say more? BOYD II; the Return of the Master, or the Rise of Romar. Will those few old veteran heroes that remain standing, such as Girud, Krysta, Mordrock and Caelith, under the leadership of King Sturmguard and with new allies and friends, manage to hold together against this new evil?
I'd love it, but probably those will remain sweet dreams. I would especially hope Yuri (GeneralMHB) would return and we could do one last scene between the two old friends. That would be the best RP-scene I could think off that I currently desire to play.

Okay, that's actually a really, really compelling story. That's extremely tempting, Vemu. Extremely tempting.
Nice idea! That might not be out of the question.

lol, hopefully the others will think the same of it. If we do it, the most important decision for me would be whether I were to play Romar and thus the BBEG, or someone else. It depends on what the DM wants, but I'd seriously like to remain Romar. Also, perhaps there could be two parties, one with the good heroes as we have known it, and one with the undead team. Someone could play Romar's right hand man, like Hirsuthe has been of the Master. However, not every player likes to be another player's right hand man/minion. I'm open for anything. I just loved playing Romar.

lol...if someone else wants to run it, I'll happily relinquish rights to it for the sequel and either play/sideline DM (offer world advice really)--it could take off, you never know.

I would definately be in... It would have to wait until after one of the games I am in is done, but I would like to see the rise, and eventual fall (yes, you would wall before me) of Romar. LOL

I'd start with making Adelia a skeleton, turn Mordrock back into a goblin slave, and then I'd make them watch while I torture you and suck on your blood.
Despair, mortal! You are naught before my might!
