well, Romar's pretty much built around mounted combat archery, so he'd be at a great disadvantage without his animal companion Huna. If this is going to be a big BOYD superfight then of course I wouldn't want to miss it. Girud may be big, he's nothing when faced with a mighty steel heavy warhorse.

Don't need to kill the horse. Just Romar.

Lol, so I get Adelia... and as for Mordrock... how can there be a Krysta without the gyrating little goblin that licks his lips at the sight of his two women? Oh yes, battle royale!!! Rojito, as for doing justice for Romar, simply make a deal with someone to aid them, let them walk in front of you, then sink your fangs into their backs. That should do it,

You guys just don't get it, do you? It was for the greater good! LOL As for Mordrock, he will make a great (though slightly biased) referee and provide the commentary on the match. That will surely provide some laughable quotes I deem.

Girud can't fight under my control since I'm running the battle. Though to prevent things from getting too far out of hand (as they seem to be doing) I might suggest either that animal companions/cohorts/whatevers that are part of the character's build either be left out entirely, OR that the whatever is considered out of the fight when their main character/champion falls. That means that while cohorts and the like would be allowed, they leave the ring when their leader falls.
This is only a suggestion however, because the players involved in the fight are actually the ones that have to agree to the rules.
Who is serioussly entertaining throwing down?
I saw the Udjat and Fangor for sure. rojito if he can find a PC; maybe even Vemu?
If you guys ask nice you might be able to talk KMan into pulling a NPC outta the works to join in. I know that he likes playing when he can.

All this talk about BOYD makes me want to see a continuation game. Goddamn, that'd be marvelous. I'd hate to penalize people for not getting their animal companions/cohorts. Then again, since almost EVERYONE is losing one (except my character), it's almost fair. I'm sure Leadership wouldn't be the only feat to be entirely unused. Hell, with everyone having a two-person team but one character, I feel like wading into a warzone as it is. But at the VERY least, cohorts/companions should leave the battlefield if their leader falls. They're part of the build, after all, not independent of it. It just dawned on me that if Caelith levels up to 10, he could take Leadership and get his own cohort. Bwahaha! That'd feel wrong, though.

except not so good, the paladin can summon his mount and renor wouldn't like to meet a chargeing paladin on foot... fine i'll play Renor... so uhh fangor... wanna take the paladin out first? we'll work together, since we get along so well

I will certainly throw down...assuming of course I can make Malanuus level 10. He's my "arena" fighter and I'd have to use him. Of course, he'd literally be a minotaur with 2 class levels.
Oh, and Udjat....a continuation of BOYD would be frickin wicked sweet.

I vote for cohorts, but agree that they are dependant on the leader, so if the main character dies, then cohorts are out of the battle as well. Any other things to go over? Also, I won't be using the Bomb anymore, so no fear of blowing everyone up...

ugh oh wow, BOYD is a very long rp huh? lol i love it i am so wrapped up in it its like reading a novel. i just finished the first part and am about to start on the next one, but i think i will save that for tomarrow, it IS some pretty hefty reading materiel lol. and i must say i would LOVE to get into a huge rp like that one... but i am not so sure i would be a huge fan of the castlewarfare, that seemed a bit rough lol.

Unfortunately, BOYD had lots of issues with players dropping out. Like Wizard and me, in particular. I very much regret not being able to contribute to the latter half of that campaign. I was very fond of my character, too. If at all possible, I'd like to keep this battle royale focused on BOYD characters, since that was sort of the original point. But I also don't want to exclude KMan. As DM, he obviously didn't have a PC for BOYD. There's Girud, ofcourse. So what are we looking at? Me: Caelith Fangor: Krysta, w/ Adelia Vemu: Romar, w/ Huna Rojito: Girud, w/ Alton KMan: Malanuus? Hey. Mal should be on my team. Then we can have straight 2 vs 2 all the way around!

Did I hear that correctly? Despite the fact that Romar's lying crushed at the foot of some cliff, I'm sure we could work him back in. If you ever manage to get (most of) the old group and possibly some new ones back together, count me in as well. BOYD II; the Return of Romar. Sweet... As for this fight, I'll be happy to temporarily resurrect Romar. However, I'd really like to fight with Huna, as actually I've never even got the chance to really appreciate his qualities, and most of my feats and such are based on mounted combat. I'm fine with the companions and cohorts leaving after the leader's death.
