Yah. what he said. Simply take this and erase * in between the characters:
[*dice=20*]
As you can see, there are two *'s in the above formula. Delete them, and it works.

Yeah, using IE. So not so much with the working. I tried the html code several times, and really all my post had in it was [dice=20]
Does this mean that since I use the evil Bill Gates software I shall not be able to roll dice? Is there another system? An easy to use system? I am not computer or even html illiterate, I guess I should have mentioned that before so I didn't get the, plug your computer in, now does it work response.
If there is no other way I will be saddened, I'd rather not have to download another browser just to play on this board.[rand=485899217847561671808320990290423607683153384364532275315370066826]

No worries dapilky, I won't require you to use another browser to play here and I doubt any other GM would do otherwise. If you notice your post above, all I did was click modify and the dice code works--it is truly an Internet Explorer issue. Invisible Castle works; invisiblecastle.com or you can just work it out with your GM to let them roll dice for you or roll your own plastic dice. There are many options. The code we added was written by someone else, not part of the boards software. We're still waiting on a fix or a better solution, but for now we're very open to work-arounds and helping each other. So get in touch with the GM of your game(s) and work something out. On a side note, IE is a very common browser (perhaps the most common) and as such is subject to a significant amount of viral attacks. In defense, Microsoft has made it extremely secure and as a consequence it blocks even harmless code like the die roller. That, combined with my distaste for too much security, makes me always advocate a different browser--try it, you may like it. Personally, I go with Mozilla's Firefox. It's free, will import all your IE links and bookmarks with a click, and offers more features. www.mozilla.org. Anyways, in short, don't worry about it and continue to game on!

This die was rolled with Internet Explorer 7....so, in the words of Borat - "Great Success!"
Also, you may notice the code has been updated so that the dice are now white instead of blue. [rand=1538388036229677323756530683600059868719826336276440124893677356]

Yay, the dice are back on IE. A little different looking, but at least I don't have to switch browsers anymore just to post.
