Well, we've sort of talked about things like this for a while now, and now KMans has the capability of posting Dice Rolls inside of a post without anyone ever needing physical dice. Now rolling any die, including the rare and elusive d73 is no trouble. In the Post Message screen you'll notice a new button has been added to the formatting buttons. By clicking on teh image of a d6 text for dice rolling will be added to your post. By default KMan has currently set this to be a d20 (since we're currently playing d20 systems), however by modifying the number it can be any sided die you might ever need. Here's a few examples: The code will be in [] as usual: dice=# [dice=3] [dice=4] [dice=6] [dice=8] [dice=10] [dice=12] [dice=20] [dice=100] or even: [dice=73] We're working on ideas to integrate the dice with our current posts, so things might change up a bit until it's decided. Have fun with it, but only roll your own dice if the DM you'r playing for asks it. Thanks!

Just so everyone believes us, the results for the dice code should be;
2,4,5,4,9,7,4,62 and 9
If you see anything different, let us know. (We can even change the color!)

[dice=94] [dice=94] [dice=94] [dice=94] [dice=94] [dice=94]
Sweet, I can have that 94 sided dice I always dreamed of. This is better than the casual dice roller that we can see, in my opinion.
How do we change the color of the dice ?
Edit: Simple curiosity: [dice=29475927385] Great, doesn't seems to have a limit.. like if we would need dice that high anyway.[rand=622085997759395465671980752935685644153302614994249689446567142]

It would be something that we would have to change globally. If people are really concerned about the blue background or whatever, we can change that...but we can't allow everyone to change the color of their dice on their own.

Crap. Actually, I hate blue.. guess I'll have to get used to it.
Though, blue, especially this one, pop out of the color scheme of the board a bit. An other color could be 'easier' for the eyes.

LOL...ironic, since blue is my favorite color. I was actually trying to match the headers of each post with the color.
But like I said, if there's enough of a negative response, I'm willing to change it.

Dulled down the blue color, not so glaring now. Better?

That's pretty neat. Not really functional for the DM is it, they'd have to click on the preview button to see the result beforehand wouldn't they, unless I'm missing something.
It may be depressing for characters to see their result if they roll something like a 2 or whatever, but I suppose that it would be nifty for spell damage and things like that so the DM won't have to worry about rolling it if the spell works.
But seeing something like
Tiffany rolls for her save vs. death DC 10
roll [dice=20] + fort sv 4 =
would be pretty funny.[rand=2133714177145753500935339621607062098862474563558955602927793443031]

This is really cool! Players can do their own rolls now. [rand=65010257470634999815987703797819582893852204644144117786294845656]

wow! the sooner we can do this in the games, the better. Blue's good. Especially with things like healing, its great, cause you get the results much faster, like you should. When will we be using it?

Umm..it's open now. Try it.
(dice=8) (dice=20) (dice=4)
...just replace () with [] per HTML coding and you've got dice rolls!

Yeah.. Too bad there's no 2dX... or dX+y.

Lets see for Ber'Vosk's magic missile in OMAM
[dice=4] + [dice=4] + [dice=4] + 3
Nice, and modifying it makes no difference to the dice rolls
Even if you change the dice and then change them back later, Min/Maxer proof![rand=9913236409794459899761858427971457218243605327199388369824946928]

Yeah.. Too bad there's no 2dX... or dX+y. I can definately agree with this sentiment. It would make tracking numbers that much easier to do and take less bookkeeping. The second thing I wish would work is being able to put the dice in the middle of a text block or even lined out across the window rather than down it. It seems to break the flow of posts on occasion, and if nothing else will lengthen them. That's both good or bad I suppose, time will tell whether I love it or dislike it.

you can make them move; You can align right or center; [dice=6] Or you can add spooky glowing dice! [glow=red,2,900][dice=100][/glow] So you can do alot, but yeah, it's ghetto that each die roll needs its own line to function. Oh well, maybe they'll improve it. PS - We'd better stop. They mentioned having about 60 dice in a thread before it starts throwing up errors. [rand=751067389399568695886182737950830263999342585049971780077435216]

Hey, that's wrong! Dice shouldn't slide, they roll! Can't you make a rolling dice?
