Harknail slashes and splashes at the goblin splatting a mix of sea water and blood upon the cavern walls. Sanem is able to shake free of the goblins grip and takes a step back. The goblin however uses the opportunity to distract Harknail long enough for his target to climb up and start wresting him to the ground. Since Harknail was already laying on the ground, the goblin only had to climb on his back to keep him there. Harknail left the wounded goblin on his back for those still standing to deal with, trusting his armor to protect him. Instead he issued a Divine Challenge to the goblin on his back to keep it from attacking anyone else while Harknail struck out at the other Goblin still in the water near him with another Valiant Strike. [dice=20]+8 = 13 [dice=8]+3= 5
OOC: Is there a -2 to hit while prone in this case? Or does it not apply because he's striking someone below his prone position? [rand=217153260484337869485065946355463550390419550241411809166893363]

Gabe continues to bark commands, pointing out openings when the enemy makes them. Doran enters the fray and finishes off the goblin wrestling with Harknail, as it's limp body slips back into the cold waters. Bharash gives the new goblin a true taste of cold, and it disappears into the darkness of the ocean with his comrade. Harknail flails about while being pinned to the ground but is unable to connect with his target. The last remaining goblin manages to slip behind Gabe and pushes him into the ocean, laughing at his misfortune. www.bluntaxe.com/files/moonhaven/cave5.pngRound notes Harknail - prone (yes -2 to attack). Gabe - in water I chose for Gabe to use 'Commander's Strike' this round. Please choose who gets the attack and it will be resolved next round.

[Getting very confused about things like initiative order. Not sure what's happening when, or what rolls are involved, etc. Who is even able to take advantage of the Commander's Strike if Hark is down and Doran out of range?
Gabe will try to climb out, or stick the goblin with his glaive if he can do that instead. Given that they could leap out at us, I don't see why it'd be much of an issue.]

Initiative order right now is Gabe Doran Bharash Harknail Sanem Goblins (note I might not describe things exactly in that order, but that is the order things are processed when possible.) The goblin was next to Sanem and Harknail at the beginning of the round so they can take advantage of Commander's Strike. And since I pushed it off till this round I'll allow you to give it to Bharash as well.
Water: Athletics check DC10 with armor check penalty (calm water right now). So long as you remain above water, you can attack and/or climb out.

What is (1) on the map? Also, is there only one goblin left?

[I'll give the attack to Harknail, as before--he's the one with the weapon out, after all. I think he's already rolled the attack above, anyway.
Athletics check @ +7 to act in water: [dice=20] Total: 22, plenty.] "Son of a-" Gabe goes splashing into the water, but is quick to recover. Grabbing the glaive and momentarily forgetting the boat's rope--these are calm waters after all--he jabs the weapon up at the goblin.[Viper's Strike @ +5 vs. AC [dice=20] Total: 13, probably no good. But if it hits, goblin takes 2d4+3 and takes an opportunity attack from an ally if it shifts.][rand=7344317512953072304718761458304146189613483618815450392880220438]

I think that is a lowercase "L" and that it represents the wizard glowing floating pebble. Which might be sitting on the ground now if the Wizard was too distracted to maintain his mage hand spell (used minor action for something else).
And yes, there is only one goblin left of those who came out of the water. The other two are dead.

Does anyone want to continue with a new GM? I know I've seen this adventure before, I just can't find it now.

This was also my only active game. So yes I would continue too.

So that's Harknail (me), Bharash, and Doran. Still need to hear from Gabe (TheUdjat) and Sanem (Rojito).
I'm willing to try running, keeping Harknail as an NPC. Hopefully the other two players are also interested.

OK, I've gotten responses (public or private) from: Bharash the Dragonborn Wizard Doran Sharpblade the Human Rogue Gabullifax the Tiefling Warlord
And I'll be running Harknail, the Warforged Paladin as an NPC. That gives someone from all roles even if Sanem (Rojito) drops. And if Rojito stays with us as well, that will give us: Sanem, the Elven Ranger as a second striker.
Now all I need to do is find the scenario somewhere. I'm sure I've seen it online, but I didn't save it and can't seem to find it online.

I think the game will be moving at a slower pace with me at the helm, so posting requirements will be less. But I can understand not having time as well (I'm in the same position). Thanks for letting us know.
I've sent some private messages bluntaxe asking if he minds my taking over, and if he'd send me the adventure module (I know I've seen it before, but I just can't find it). I suppose I should post something on one of the more public forums to let the powers that be know my intentions. I hope to be able to resume in a couple of days, (even without a module).

The game was not an existing module. So you can it where-ever you like, or tie it to any module you want.

Ok, I'll start working on having something to run soon. I have an idea as to how to write Sanem out without having to kill the character. I've also worked out how to add more characters at this point, so I'll open up the game to new players for a little while.

Just a status update. I've figured out (at least in a general way) how this is going to shape up. I'm working on a turn for my champions game first (they've been waiting longer), then continue this fight where we left off.
