As the group proceeded up the slight slope the puddles became fewer, the slime became patchy, and they could see patches of the luminous lichen common in underground caverns. They reached a point where the slime was gone completely, there was enough light now to see beyond the magical light, though it was only dimly lit. It wasn't much longer before the passage widened out and the group saw their first goblins. The goblins also saw the group as they rounded the bend. One closest of the two visible goblins exclaimed something incomprehensible (unless someone knows goblin). There was a loud (and still incomprehensible) shout from some goblin out of sight. Map: The yellow tinted square around the group is the brightly lit area, the rest is dimly lit (provides cover unless you have low light vision). Init rolls please (also a roll call to make sure everyone is still playing) Harknails Init: [dice=20]+1+2(warlord bonus)=5 [rand=0718908077105879826880575437098748183158165775244339356226846576]

Would you rather have the monsters all go with the same initiative, or be mixed in among the players. Having them go all at once makes it easier for the players to send in turns ahead of time (everyone before the monsters go, then the monsters, then everyone), but mixing them in makes for a more fluid situation.

Initiative: [dice=20] -1 +2 (warlord bonus)=12
All gobins of the same type acting together is probably the simplest if you have lots of them.[rand=501297114061672555208574722608343917480260566433336268498337533344]

In some sense, you might expect unorganized foes to wait until they are all ready to go, sense the one that jumps out first to attack is probably going to be the first to die.

[Everyone - please remember your +2 bonus to initiative for Gabe.
All the goblins going at once makes the most sense to me.]

Action for Sanem: Sanem curses in elven as he declares the closest goblin as his quarry and sends two arrows whizzing toward that goblin. Minor action: Declare Green 1 as quary Standard action: Twin Strike +6 vs AC (no concealment due to low light vision) [dice=20][dice=20]Damage:[dice=10][dice=6] The first shot hits the goblin in the throat, the second misses because the goblin was already dead and falling from the first shot.[rand=532687415368855877394272945821336555226705968388369553326629102]

Action for Goblins: Another shout comes from the right opening again (translation will be sent to Doran by private message). The visible goblin (green 2), not wanting the share the fate of his companion, moves so as to place the the bend in the tunnel between himself and the deadly ranger (at H4). From the left comes the sound of someone walking on rubble, then another goblin (blue 4) shows himself slightly (in I6) as he thows a javelin at Harknail. The left handed throw is awkward and weak, the javelin skids harmlessly on the ground between Harknail's legs.
Tag all. Remember that until Harknail moves forward the goblins have concealment due to low light unless your character has low light vision. Blue 4 is visible to all but has cover until column I is reached. Green 2 can be seen only by Harknail and Gabe and has cover until row 4 is reached. Updated map to be posted tomorrow.

"Advance and attack!" Gabe shouts, his usual tendencies towards command kicking in. "Hold the entrance!" Taking his own advice, Gabe advances with his glaive in hand, relying on keen vision to pierce the dim cave. He strikes out at one of the goblins, relying on his distance for now--and to give everyone else a chance to attack, too. Especially if the dragonborn proves capable of impressive magics.
We'll call it a Viper's Strike. Str vs. AC @ +5: [dice=20] Total: 18
If a hit, 2d4+3 damage, and if the target shifts before the start of Gabe's next turn, they provoke from an ally of his choice (probably Hark, since he'll be in the thick of things at that point). [dice=4] [dice=4] Total: 9 damage

Can Doran wait for Harknail to move the light? Yes, there is no loss of actions letting Harknail go first.

As Gabe leads the attck against the goblins Bharash squints ahead at the shadowy figures noticing Doran doing the same. "Too dull to kill effectively in there." Bharash observes. Seeing that their mobile torch holder was taking its time to process the situation Bharash takes matters into his own hands moving up behind Gabe he quickly makes the light generating gesture with his left hand giving it a flick to send it off past the tiefling to illuminate the chamber ahead. With the better lighting he brings his staff round in an arc with his right hand pointing the end at a spot between the goblins. A column of fire abruptly springs up from that spot scorching the goblins near it. Moving to be one column to the right of Gabe. Minor action: cast light spell 5 squares to Bharashs left in row 5. (produces bright light with a radius of 4) standard action: cast scorching burst centred at h5 attack roll against goblin 2: [dice=20] +3 vs. reflex =18 attack roll against goblin 4: [dice=20] +3 vs. reflex =12 damage roll if either hit: [dice=6] +3=5

Well we know theudjat is busy or I am sure he would have posted to clarify which space he was in by now.
We should probably agree between us where is reasonable for him to have wanted to be. As he said he wished to hold the entrance and keep his distance with his glaive whilst making sure he did not get in anyone elses way, how about J4 targeting number 4?

Gabe advanced the edge of the light (J4) and struck a blow at the goblin set to attack the others (blue 4). Thanks to his low-light vision Gabe was able to hit the goblin.
Unfortunately, there was another goblin lurking around the corner (at I3) waiting for someone to come in range. He struck from surprise (using readied action) and was able to hit Gabe for 5 points of damage with his spear despite the cover provided by attacking around the corner.
Bharash moves to behind Gabe (K4) then casts a new light spell in front of them (centered on F5), causing the light on Harknail's torch to vanish. When he casts his scorching burst the goblin in front of them (Green 2) is incinerated while the goblin that Gabe attacked (Blue 4) escaped the flames.
