Harknail waves towards one of the doors (Q24), "More undead be that way." He had heard that the locals had been battling large numbers of undead. Harknail was still confused and had little idea what was going on. He didn't know if his new companions were truely friends or foes. But he knew that both undead and goblins were foes, so he would stay with these new companions for now, and look for the Nerath army when he had the chance.

OOC: Doran wears leather, as far as I could tell only Gabe and Howahkan wear Hide, though chain could be a better choice for Howahkan if he is planning to upgrade. So if you are sure then Gabe will wear it though he might have to do some work on it later to get it to suit his style since his current is hide armour is crimson crocodile skin.

Gabe nods to Howahkan, "Then shall we deal with the undead and make sure we don't leave any nasty surprises behind us. I wonder if we can quickly bar that other way to stop any chance of them retreating through here?" Gabe will have a quick look if the door can be barred but if it looks complicated or time consuming he'll push forward east towards the undead.

A quick examination shows that the door could easily be bared... but from the other side. There is plenty of raw material in the odds and ends room to make a barrier to keep any goblins inside, it would just take some time to move the junk and assemble tight enough to make it hard to get though...

OOC: The armor was intended for Gabe. I missed that his armor was so distinctive, otherwise I would have given him something similar. I have something else in mind for Howahkan, but he will be the last to get his magic item. Well except for Harknail, who won't get one at all this level.

Gabe's new armor was a bit stiff, not surprising since it had been "pressed" for so long. It didn't quite fit the tiefling, being a bit tight in some place and loose in others, but it fit well enough that it didn't interfere with his attacks.

OOC: There is a magic ritual to resize armor. Even when not needed, it's nice to give your magic armor that nice tailored just for you appearance Even better, casting this ritual doesn't use up any ritual components.

Thursagan put himself in first position and goes to the door on Q24. Once there he waits until all the party is gathered to open it. Can we hear anything?

As far as I can tell, only Rangers and tactical Warlords wear hide armor. Our Ranger is a) ranged, and b) going to be making good use of the bow.
Doran would try to scout ahead, but the darkness of the cave, and the superiority of the other side's vision makes that not so bright. Doran will follow the leader.

OOC: Cool if it's okay Gabe will be customising his new armor till it's a close visual match to his old armour during any downtime. Also should I be posting an updated version of Gabe in the thread where he was created so I can edit and keep him updated, it's not my character or thread originally so not sure what's appropriate here.

When I saw the bow and the armour drop I checked the copies of all the character sheets I had downloaded when I was trying to work out who was who to see who they matched. Currently it's only Sanem with the bow and Howy and Gabe with the Hide armour hence me offering it to Howy first.

OOC: I had made some changes to Howy when I took him over. I now have him wearing chain. And I had to modify the stats some to make him legal. He had +2 to 2 stats where as humans only get one +2.

Nothing can be heard at the first door, which is not surprising since a second closed door can be seen though the first door.

OOC: That's a good idea. Include the game, character name, and "revised" in the subject and let me know when it's done. I'll ask one of the moderators to remove the original sheet. (and update my downloaded version.

OOC: My thought was that Gabe is up at melee range, but is usually having others attack for him, so that he would benefit more from armor than a weapon. Also Gabe carries a wide variety of weapons, and I wasn't sure which he would like to have magical (my guess was the glaive).
